Tender For Providing Diving Team For Sealing Of Intake Gates & Tail Race Gates Of Two Units During Off Monsoon Period Aoh Work 2024- Deployment Of Adequate Capacity Diving Team ( Minimum 2 Divers ) , Diving Supervisor, Helpers ( Minimum 2 ) , Diving Equipments With Under Water Communication, Compressor, Diving Helmets, And Other Related Accessories And Equipments For Arresting The Leakage Water Completely By Sealing Of Two Units ( Two Units Out Of Four Unit No. 1, 2, 3 & 4 As Required By Executive Engineer ( O&M ) Mbdph For Their Works ) Penstock Intake Gate ( Two Nos Each Per Unit. ) And Sealing Of Draft Tube Gates ( Three Nos Each Per Unit. ) At Munirabad Dam Power House In Order To Facilitate For Dewatering Of Spiral Casing And Draft Tube Water Including Cost Of Consumables Like Gunny Bags, Cotton Waste, Binding Wire, Wooden Wedges Etc And Also Removing The Same ( Sealed Gates, Wedges Etc. ) And Assisting In Lowering And Lifting The Gates From The Vent After Completion Of The Turbine Work. If Any Obstruction Like Debris, Foreign Material Or Any Other Materials During Sealing, Extra Cost Will Not Be Paid By Kpcl And Agency Has To Carry Out The Sealing Work At The Quoted Rates Only. If It Is Found Necessary To Seal Stop Log Gates In Case Of Intake Gates Not Sealing Properly, The Same Has To Be Carried Out Without Any Extra Cost. The Work Will Be Treated As Completed After Successful De Sealing Of Intake And Draft Tube Gates. The Clearance For Sealing Of Gates For One Or Both The Units May Be Provided At A Time Or Separately As Per Site Requirement.Initially, Sealing Of Intake And Draft Tube Gates Of One Unit Shall Be Carried Out. Later After Completion Of Aoh Works Of The Unit The Decision Regarding Sealing Of Another Unit Will Be Taken If Necessary As Per The Discretion Of Executive Engineer ( O & M ) Mbdph. If It Is Decided Not To Take Up Sealing Of The Other Unit It Will Be Treated As Savings And Payment Will Be Processed For Only One Unit.
