| 1 | Box cutting of road bed in all sorts of soil for removal of garbage/earthen hips and to provide proper camber and gradient along road alignment, including removing spreading or stacking the spoils within a lead of 7.5 m as directed and including trimming the sides of trenches levelling dressing and ramming the bottom, bailing or pumping out water etc. as required complete.a) In Mixed soil (i.e. clay mixed with kankar , pebbles , moorum etc.)( Depth upto150mm ) |
| 2 | Sand filling in foundation trenches and at the back of abutments, wing-walls etc. with good local sand free from earth in layers not exceeding 15 cm. including inundating each layer by profuse water and poking and ramming layer by layer complete including supply of sand. Quality of sand is to be approved by the Engineer-in-charge. |
| 3 | Supplying & laying of polythine sheet ( 150gm / sqm) over damp proof course or below flooring or roof trracing or in foundation or in foundation trenches. |
