Tender For Special Repair To Road At Lekhapani Mil Station; 1 Scarifying Or Picking Gravelled, Macadam Or Bituminous Macadam Surfaces In Area Not Exceeding 400 Sqm, Depth Of Pot Hole Exceeding 50 Mm But Not Exceeding 100 Mm Including Rolling Over The Broken Surfaces Using 8 To 10 Tonnes Power Roller To Required Camber And Gradient Complete All As Specified And As Directed. 2 M & L For 7.5 Cm Thick ( Compacted Thickness ) Wbm, With Coarse Aggregates Of Granite, Trap Or Basalt Of Grading 2 ( 63 To 45 Mm Size ) Or Of Grading 3 ( 53 To 22.4 Mm Size ) , Spread, Rolled And Compacted To Required Gradient And Camber With Three Wheel-Power Roller Of 80 To 100 Kn Capacity Or An Equivalent Vibratory Roller Complete All As Specified And As Directed. 3 Preparing Unsurfaced Water Bound Macadam Surfaces By Brushing With Wire Brushes For Removing Caked Mud Etc., Sweeping With Brooms And Finally Fanning The Cleaned Surface With Gunny Bags To Remove All Loose Dirt Etc. Complete All As Specified And As Directed. 4 M And L For Applying A Prime Coat Of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion Ss1 Conforming To Is: 8887 At A Rate Ofapplication Of 0.75Kg / Sqm On Surface Of Wmm / Wbmas Specified In Table- 500-3 Of Morth Specifications For Road And Bridge Work 2013, Using Mechanical Sprayer Completeall As Specified And Directed . 5 Preparing Existing Black Top Surfaces By Brushing With Wire Brushes For Removing Caked Mud Etc., Sweeping With Brooms And Finally Fanning The Cleaned Surface With Gunny Bags To Remove All Loose Dirt Etc. Complete All As Specified And As Directed. 6 M & L For Bituminous Macadam Not Exceeding 75 Mm Thickness ( Compacted Thickness ) Using Hot Mix Plant And Mechanical Paver With 4% Binder ( Paving Grade Bitumen Vg-30 Grade ) Content By Weight Of Total Mix, Rolled And Compacted With Power Roller 8 To 10 Tonnes To Required Camber And Gradient Complete All As Specified And As Directed. Note :- ( I ) Bituminous Macadam Shall Be Laid Using Self Propelled Hydrostatic Paver Finisher And Preparation Of Mix Shall Be Using Hot Mix Plant And Transporting The Mix In Tipper. ( Ii ) The Exact Bitumen Content Required Shall Be Determined As Per Irc 27: 2009. The Adjustment In Rate On Minus Side Variation In Quantity Of Bitumen If Any Shall Be Priced At The Rate Of ?55 Per Kg. No Claim Whatsoever Shall Be Made For Adjustment In Plus Side. 7 Repair To Potholes Any Depth, Exe 30 Mm And Not Exceeding 1 Sqm Each Including Sweeping Free From Dust And Mud, Or Water, Scoring Sunken Surfaces In Roads, Paths, Etc., Cutting Around Edges To At Least 25 Mm In Depth, Making Good By Applying Tack Coat At The Rate Of 05 Kg Per 10 Sqm, Putting In Bituminous Macadam Well Rammed And Sealed With Bitumen 9.8 Kg Per 10 Sqm Blinded With 0.09 Cum Stone Chippings, 6.3 Mm Size And Rolled And Compacted With Power Roller 8 To 10 Tonnes To Required Camber And Gradient Complete All As Specified And As Directed. 8 M And L For Applying A Tack Coat Of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion ( Rs1 ) Conforming To Is: 8887 At A Rate Ofapplication Of 0.25Kg / Sqm On Bituminious Surfaceas Specified In Table- 500-3 Of Morth Specifications For Road And Bridge Work 2013, Using Mechanical Sprayer After Cleaning Of Existing Surface Completeall As Specified And Directed . 9 M & L For Bituminous Concrete 40 Mm ( Compacted Thickness ) Using Graded Crushed Stone Aggregate Premixed With Binder ( Paving Grade Bitumen Vg-30 Grade ) @ 5.5% By Weight Of Total Mix & Hydraulic Lime / Cement ( Opc-43 Grade ) Filler, Rolled And Compacted To Required Camber And Gradient Complete All As Specified And As Directed. Note :- ( I ) Semi Dense Bituminous Concrete Shall Be Laid Using Self Propelled Hydrostatic Paver Finisher And Preparation Of Mix Shall Be Using Hot Mix Plant And Transporting The Mix In Tipper. ( Ii ) The Exact Bitumen Content Required Shall Be Determined Following The Marshall Mix Design Procedure Contained In The Asphalt Institute Manual Ms-2 ( Sixth Edition ) As Referred In Case 3.5.3 Of Irc 111: 2009. The Adjustment In Rate On Minus Side Variation In Quantity Of Bitumen If Any Shall Be Priced At The Rate Of ?55 Per Kg. No Claim Whatsoever Shall Be Made For Adjustment In Plus Side. 10 Providing And Applying 2.5 Mm Thick Road Marking Strips ( Retro-Reflective ) Of Specified Shade / Colour Using Hot Thermoplastic Material By Fully / Semi-Automatic Thermoplastic Paint Applicator Machine Fitted With Profile Shoe, Glass Beads Dispenser, Propane Tank Heater And Profile Shoe Heater, Driven By Experienced Operator On Road Surface Including Cost Of Material, Labour, T & P, Cleaning The Road Surface Of All Dirt, Seals, Oil, Grease And Foreign Material Etc. Complete All As Specified And As Directed. 11 S&F Cat Eye Solar Reflective Type Of Metal Body Alloy Of Size 100X100x20mm With Pama Striplens Reflector Fixed With And Including Ms Stud Of Suitable Size As Per Manufacturer Instructions Complete All As Specified And Directed By The Engr-In-Charge. 12 S & F Solar Road Studs Of Size Not Less Than 125X 125 X 25 Mm Made Of Weather Resistance Aluminium Alloy And Poly Carbonate Material Electronically Welded Micro- Prismatic Lens With Abrasion Resistant Coating As Approved By The Engineer In Charge. The Cats Eye Shall Support A Load Of 13635 Kg Tested In Accordance With Astm D4280. The Slope Of Retro- Reflective Surface Shall Be 35° ± 5° To Base. The Reflective Panels On Both Sides With At Least 12 Cm Of Reflective Area Up Each Side. The Luminance Intensity Should Be As Per The Specification And Shall Be Tested As Described In Astm E: 809 As Recommended In Bs: 873 Part 4 :1973. The Studs Shall Be Fixed To The Road Surface Using The Adhesive Conforming To Is, As Per Procedure Recommended By The Manufacturer Complete And As Per Direction Of Engineer-In-Charge. 4M and L for applying a prime coat of cationic bitumen emulsion SS1 conforming to IS: 8887 at a rate ofapplication of 0.75kg/ sqm on surface of WMM/WBMas specified in Table- 500-3 of MoRTH specifications for road and bridge work 2013, using mechanical sprayer completeall as specified and directed .
5Preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. complete all as specified and as directed.
6M & L for bituminous macadam not exceeding 75 mm thickness (compacted thickness) using hot mix plant and mechanical paver with 4% binder (paving grade bitumen VG-30 grade) content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted with power roller 8 to 10 tonnes to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (i) Bituminous macadam shall be laid using self propelled hydrostatic paver finisher and preparation of mix shall be using hot mix plant and transporting the mix in tipper. (ii) The exact bitumen content required shall be determined as per IRC 27: 2009. The adjustment in rate on MINUS side variation in quantity of bitumen if any shall be priced at the rate of ?55 per kg. No claim whatsoever shall be made for adjustment in plus side.
7Repair to potholes any depth, exe 30 mm and not exceeding 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc., cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat at the rate of 05 kg per 10 Sqm, putting in bituminous macadam well rammed and sealed with bitumen 9.8 kg per 10 sqm blinded with 0.09 cum stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and rolled and compacted with power roller 8 to 10 tonnes to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed.
8M and L for applying a tack coat of cationic bitumen emulsion (RS1) conforming to IS: 8887 at a rate ofapplication of 0.25kg/ sqm on bituminious surfaceas specified in Table- 500-3 of MoRTH specifications for road and bridge work 2013, using mechanical sprayer after cleaning of existing surface completeall as specified and directed .
9M & L for bituminous concrete 40 mm (compacted thickness) using graded crushed stone aggregate premixed with binder (paving grade bitumen VG-30 grade) @ 5.5% by weight of total mix & hydraulic lime/cement(OPC-43 Grade) filler, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (i) Semi dense bituminous concrete shall be laid using self propelled hydrostatic paver finisher and preparation of mix shall be using hot mix plant and transporting the mix in tipper. (ii) The exact bitumen content required shall be determined following the Marshall Mix Design procedure contained in the Asphalt Institute Manual MS-2 (Sixth Edition) as referred in case 3.5.3 of IRC 111: 2009. The adjustment in rate on MINUS side variation in quantity of bitumen if any shall be priced at the rate of ?55 per kg. No claim whatsoever shall be made for adjustment in plus side.
10Providing and applying 2.5 mm thick road marking strips (retro-reflective) of specified shade/ colour using hot thermoplastic material by fully/ semi-automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater, driven by experienced operator on road surface including cost of material, labour, T & P, cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals, oil, grease and foreign material etc. complete all as specified and as directed.
11S&F cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100x100x20mm with PAMA striplens reflector fixed with and including MS stud of suitable size as per manufacturer instructions complete all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-charge.
12S & F solar road studs of size not less than 125X 125 X 25 mm made of weather resistance aluminium alloy and poly carbonate material electronically welded micro- prismatic lens with abrasion resistant coating as approved by the Engineer in charge. The cats eye shall support a load of 13635 kg tested in accordance with ASTM D4280. The slope of retro- reflective surface shall be 35° ± 5° to base. The reflective panels on both sides with at least 12 cm of reflective area up each side. The luminance intensity should be as per the specification and shall be tested as described in ASTM E: 809 as recommended in BS: 873 part 4 :1973. The studs shall be fixed to the Road surface using the adhesive conforming to IS, as per procedure recommended by the manufacturer complete and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. The solar panel shall be high efficiency mono crystalline 2.5 V/60 m A and the battery shall be one Ni-mh type (1.2 V/1200 m Ah) high temp for backup of 36 hours full charging. The flash frequency shall be 60 ± 5 times per minute. Make- Model no 111 JUGNU of Dark Eye or equivalent makes as given in Appx B
