Load Capacity 30 kN Controller and Software, to be designed to measure tensile, compression, proof load, elongation, peel, flexural test on polymers, rubber, foam, textiles, plywood, and other similar materials as per relevant ASTM, ISO, RDSO and Indian Standards. 2 Equipment description The equipment shall have: Load cells: 30 kN, 5kN, 2.5kN Frame: Tabletop or floor type, single test area, capacity: 30 KN or better Grips: The wedge action grip of max. load cell capacity should be provided to test the round and flat type samples, compression plates, bending fixtures attachments. Design: Dual column, clearance between column 450 mm minimum, low-backlash ball screws (imported, make to be specified in the quote) and support guides. Servo (PLC/Microcontroller) controlled equipment at least having following controls modes. i) Manual control ii) Load rate control iii) Displacement rate control iv) Load hold mode v) Stress rate control vi) Strain rate control with encoder feedback The Equipment shall have following features: AC or DC servo motor and drive with ball lead screw with an advanced drive system with 0.1 mm/min to 200 mm/minute standard speed range. Speed selection through data entry or variable speed through potentiometer. Load measuring accuracy ±1% from 2% to 100 % of Load cell used, Maximum cross head stroke 1000 (without grips and load cell), Cross head displacement measurement accuracy 0.01 mm, Cross head speed range 0.1mm/min to 200 mm/minute. Result and graph shall be automatically displayed. Statistical evaluation, mean deviation, frequency distribution, calculate maximum and minimum value, mean value, variance, standard deviation. Evaluation of wide range of user selectable parameters such as, Young’s modulus, yield stress, proof stress etc. Software package of shear, bend, rubber, textile testing etc. Custom built application software to suit customer requirements. Load and elongation shall be continuously displayed on screen Tare load and reset elongation facility shall be available. Load rate and strain rate shall also display while testing. Auto zeroing of elongation at preload set by user. Generated reports to PDF and export in to csv file. 3 Safety Overload protection of machine by electric control to be provided. Safety compliance to international standards /directives on mechanical and electrical safety, list of safety standards (or directives) shall be provided for which quoted model complies. Adjustable mechanical limit switches shall be provided. Safety interlock for overload and limit switch sensing to ensure protection shall be provided. Emergency stop should be mounted on frame shall be provided. The protection for Load cell overload and crosshead over travel shall be provided. 4 Power Supply Power 230 V AC, 1 phase, Frequency 50 Hz 5 Warranty Warranty for 2 years from the date of commissioning of the equipment. 6 Calibration Onsite NABL calibration after commissioning of the machine shall be provided and valid NABL calibration certificate to be provided.
