4Surface Drains in Soil-Construction ofunlined surface drains of average cross-sectional area 0.40 sqm in soil to specified lines, grades, levels and dimensions. Excavated material to be used in embankment with a lift upto 3m and lead of 50 m (average lead 25 m) as per Technical Specification Clause 307.
5Construction of embankment with approved material obtained from borrow pits with a lift upto 1.5 m, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 with a lead upto 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 301.5
6Construction of Subgrade and Earthen Shoulders (Using Fly Ash) :-Construction of subgrade and earthen shoulders with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of Table 300.2 with lead upto 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 303.1.(Including Royality).
7Granular Sub-base with Well Graded Material (Table 400.1) :- Construction of granular sub-base by providing well graded material, spreading in uniform layers with tractor mounted grader arrangement on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavatorat OMC, and compacting with smoothwheelroller to achieve thedesired density, complete as per Technical Specification Clause 401. (For Grading II Material)
8WBM Grading 2 :-Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smoothwheel roller 80-100 kN in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening/binding materials to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density grading 2 as per Technical Specification Clause 405.
9WBM Grading 3 :-Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smoothwheel roller 80-100 kN in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density Grading 3 as per Technical Specification Clause 405.
10Prime Coat (Low Porosity) :- Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-1) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.70-1.0kg/sqm using mechanical means as per Technical Specification Clause 502
11Tack Coat:- Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion (RS-1)using emulsiondistributor at the rate of 0.25-0.30kg per sqm on the prepared granular surfaces treated with primer & cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per Technical Specification Clause 503.
12Mix Seal Surfacing:-Providing, laying and rolling of close-graded premix surfacing (Mix Seal Surfacing) material of 25 mm thickness by hot mix plant usinghard blasted granite crushed aggregates of 13.2 mm to 0.09 mm (Type-B) as per table 500.15 of Specification Clause 509 of MORD,premixed with bituminous binder 60/70 grade (S-65, VG-30 Bulk) @ 23.75 Kg per 10 Sqm area, including cost of all materials (excludingseigniorage) and transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with mechanical paver finisher to the required grade, level and alignment,rolling with smooth wheeled roller 8 to 10 Tonnes as per MORD Specification Clause 509 complete for finished item of work in allrespects as directed by Engineer-incharge.
13Panel Concrete Pavement-Construction of Panel concrete ,plain cement concrete pavement, thickness as per design, over a prepared sub base, with 43 grade cement or any other type as per Caluse 1501.2.2 M 30(Grade) coarse and fine aggregates conforming to IS:383, maximum size of coarse aggregate not exceeding25mm, mixed in a concrete mixer ofnot less than 0.2 cum capasity and appropriate weigh batcher using approved mix design ,laid in approved fixed side formwork (steel channel,laying and fixing of 125 micron thick polythene film,wedges, steel plates including levelling the formwork as per drawing), spreading the concrete with shovels, rakes, compacted using needle, screed and plate vibrators and finished in continous operation including provision of contraction and expansion ,construction joints, applying debonding strips ,primer ,sealant ,dowel bars, near approaches tobridge/ culvert and construction joints, admixture as approved ,curing of concrete slabs for 14 days.
