| 2 | TRANSPORTATION OF COMPRESSED NATURAL GAS (CNG) THROUGH LIGHT/MEDIUM COMMERCIAL VEHICLES (LCV/MCVs) IN CNG FILLED MOBILE CASCADES” FOR GEOGRAPHICAL AREAS (GAS) in State Cluster of Group A - Bihar, Jharkhand & West Bengal a) This tender shall be awarded as a value contract in each group. A rate contract shall be issued, specifying the unit rates and unit quantity of LCVs/MCVs. b) The tender shall not specify the quantities of LCVs/MCVs. The actual deployment of LCVs/MCVs will be based on site requirements and shall be within the awarded contract value. c) The total offered price, including GST in the BOQ-1, represents the lump sum value for fulfilling the requirement of deployment of LCV/MCV for a vehicle operational period of 4 years. Bidder shall quote transportation of CNG through commercial vehicle on a lump sum basis considering deployment of LCV/MCV for a operation period of 4 Years. The lump sum basis quotation shall be based on fixed monthly charges (INR/Month/Vehicle i.e., INR/Month/LCV or INR/Month/MCV) and Variable transportation charges (Per kilometer running rate of LCV/MCV) in BOQ 2.Toll Charges & additional variable cost shall be paid as per actuals. d) Intimation/Call-Up orders shall be issued against the rate contract for the deployment of LCVs/MCVs. The bidder may be required to deploy the LCVs/MCVs in a phased manner. The validity for the "issuance of Intimation/Call-Up Orders" shall be 2 years from the date of award of the rate contract/LOA i.e. Vehicles will only be deployed within 2 years of rate contract/LOA. e) The contract period will be 4 years, meaning the running period for each deployed LCVs/MCVs (for each Intimation/Call-Up Orders) shall be four (04) years from the date of Intimation/Call-Up Orders. The mobilization period shall be a maximum of 45 (Forty-Five) days from the date of Intimation/call Up Orders for the deployment of LCVs/MCVs. |
