(b)Opening of top cover by removing nuts, bolts and all mounting accessories and conservator tanks for visual inspection. (c) checking of HT/LT insulators including internal inspection (d)Replacement of corroded nuts/bolts with double washers, burned lugs,etc by new one (e) Servicing of tap changing gears by cleaning and polishing tapping contact points.(f) Removing, cleaning, polishing of bushings and studs of both HT/LT side by using soft cotton cloth including checking for cracking and refixing the same. (g) Refixing all cable terminals HV & LV sides and transformer top cover, conservator tank and other fitments in position. (h)Cleaning and heating/replacing of silica gel in breather. (j)Mechanical inspection and fixing of buchholz relay. (k) Connecting HT & LT side with existing incoming and outgoing cables including re-connection of earth strip/lead. (l) HT side cable connection shall be made with new HT tape & M SealMonoplast as required at site. (m) All marshalling boxes to be cleaned. (n) All the terminal connection of control and relay wiring to be checked and tighten. (o) Examine the rollers carefully includes greasing them properly.

Note for Item No.17 to 20 : (i) New buchholz relay, New silica gel, New bushes, studs, etcrequired for replacement shall be measured and paid for separately as "Supply only" and cost of taking down of all these materials shall deemed to be included in the above quoted rate. (ii) The cost of replacement of unserviceable nut, bolt with double washers, HT / LT tape used, M-Seal, Monoplast, cable end socket, etc shall deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (iii) For the inspection of internal deffect of transformer, the contractor shall provide proper lifting arrangements like tripod, chain and pully, T&P, etc and the rent shall deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (iv) Contractor shall isolate the transformer from the supply and do earth the transformer properly while servicing the transformer.
21Servicing of OLTC and RTCC of transformer of capacity from 750 kVA to 1600KVA comprising following work services:- (a)Opening ofcover by removing nuts, bolts and all mounting accessories and conservator tanks for visual inspection. (b)Replacement of corroded nuts/bolts with double washers, burned lugs,etc by new one (c) Servicing of tap changing gears by cleaning and polishing tapping contact points.(d) Checking of mechanical operation (e) Checking of operation of RTCC including AVR (f) All the terminal connection of control and relay wiring to be checked and tighten.
22De-hydration/ filtrationof transformer oil by employing on line filtrationplant to achieve di-electric strength not less than minimum 50 KV including following work services:-(a) Removal of all suspended particles such as dust, rust, scales, collidedCarboneoxidation sludge, etc upto < 1 microne. (b) De-hydration of transformer oil under vacuum. (c) Circulation of heated oil and filling of treated oil in transformer tank. (d) Top up the transformer oil upto the level (e) Clean the transformer. NOTE : (i) Contractor shall use the vehicle mounted filtration plant with new suitable size heavy duty hose pipe. (ii) The transformer oil required for replacing/top up shall be measured and paid separately as "Supply only" (iii) Conducting field testing of di-electric strength of the transformer oil before and after filtration.
23Rectifying and arresting the oil leakage of transformer of any capacity, replacing the following components of the transformer such asgaskets, "O" rings,etc. Rectify the leaks in a variety of areas such as radiator fins, flanges, circuit breakers, valves, fastener assemblies, Oil leakage through pin hole / crack joint , drain valve / radiator valve , Oil leakages through Gasket joints. Applying putty/M-Seal Monoplast/brazing where ever necessary. NOTE :(i) Cost of all type of gasket, "O" rings, putty/M-Seal Monoplast, lugs, nut bolt, double washers, and cleaning of transformer etc shall deemed to be included in the quoted rate.
24Supply only Transformeroil having die electric strength not less than 45KV complete all as specified and directed.
25Supply and fix silica gel of superior quality for air breather of transformer installed at Naval Base, Kochi complete all as specified and directed.
26Supply and fix PVC breathing assy of Transformerwith new silica gel 250 gm as per existing make and type complete all as specified and directed.
27Supply and fix PVCbreathing assy of Transformerwith new silica gel 500 gm as per existing make and type complete all as specified and directed.

44Supply and fixing GM gate valve 20 mm dia, ISI Marked suitable for oil inlet/outlet valves of transformer including taking down old one complete all as specified and directed.
45Supply and fixing GM gate valve 25 mm dia, ISI Marked suitable for oil inlet/outlet valves of transformer including taking down old one complete all as specified and directed.
46Material and labour for disconnecting transformer supply both HT/LT side, transporting to local workshop, opening transformer, removing the core and winding assembly, taking out the HT/LT burnt winding, re-winding with super enameledcopper winding wire of same gauge and turn varnishing, drying in oven, Clean the sludge of transformer oil and ensure that ducts are not blocked,Clamp the windings firmly without any movement. Adjust the vertical tie bars to tighten loose windings or spacers. Properly tight the special coil adjustment bolt, if provided, Check the proper operation of tap changing switch, Tight all connections and fix all fitments in position. Conduct insulation resistance test, Clean the bushing & stud and examine for cracks and chips, replace if required. De-hydration/filteration of oil for di-electric strength not less than 45 KV, topping up with new oil, checking HT/LT bush for desired IR value, re-assemble, transporting back to install the same with system, testing with NO LOAD & LOADcomplete all as directed for any capacity. NOTE : (i) De-hydration and new oil for topping up will be measured and paid separately (ii) The crane and vehicle shall be provided by the contractor at his own risk and cost shall deemed to be included in the quoted rate.
47Shifting of standby trolley mounted transformer or any other transformer of capacity up to 750 KVA including its HT / LT cable from one location to another location and back to original site inside the Naval Base and Kataribagh by using toeing vehicle and crane if necessary.Dismantling the HT/LT connection of the existing faulty transformer, connecting the HT / LT cable of the trolley mounted transformer with the existing load, connecting the transformer with body and neutral earth with existing earth lead and testing with load complete all as specified and directed. NOTE : (i) The works includes the removal and refixing ofall connection, cable, etc of both transformers. (ii) Contractor shall shift and connectthe trolley mounted transformer immedeately within four hrs when AGE E&M / JE E&M inform through mobile message (iii) If contractor fails to shift the trolley mounted transformer within four hrs, a panality of Rs.3000.00 per hour after four hour shall be imposed. (iv) Rent of toeing vehicle, labour used, tools used shall deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (v) Contractor shall take care of transformer while shifting, any damage found while shifting will be rectify by the contractor at his own risk.

Note: (i) The superficial area for the purpose of painting shall be considered approx 2 Sqm. (ii) Contractor"s rep shall be present during the entire time of painting (iii) The safety of painter/electrician/supervisor/engineer working with transformer shall be at contractors risk. (iv) The rent of the air compressor, tools, etc shall deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (v) Marking of SM / MES No if any shall be deemed with quoted rate.

62Material and labour for hiring, transporting and finding the HT 11 KV/ LT UG cable fault location in any location inside Naval Base and Kataribagh area for any size of cable by using portable cable fault locator and marking the exact location all as directed.
63Servicing ofAutomatic Power Factor Correction (APFC) panel Quarterly of the capacity 100 kVAr complete comprising MDXL type heavy duty capacitor having low watt loss, APFC relay, MCCB, Cooling fan, Voltmeter, Ammeter, CTs with all other connected accessories, checking of serviceability of each component, cleaning all contact points, tightening of all connections including replacement of unserviceable components, thimbles, nut bolt and washers,etc if necessary, cleaning the entire panel by using hot blower complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

(vi) If any APFC panel found not functional or the power factor falls to 0.94 or low PF, a penal recovery of Rs.500.00 per day shall be recovered in this connection Accepting officer"s decision is final.
