| 1 | Dibbling and developing lawn with first quality KOREAN CARPET GRASS of approved superior quality by exacavating the lawn area to a depth not execeeding 30 CM in any type of soil, providing pesticides @ 500 grams per 100 Sqm area, and re-filling with approved earth obtained from excavation to a depth of 20 cm and top 10cmdepth filled with a mixture of manure, sand and red earth in 1:3:6 proportion and irrigating with water upto the depth of roots including cost of grass, sand, red earth, manures and pesticides and removing the surplus excavated earth to a distance not exceeding 50m and deposited and levelled all as specified and as directed. |
| 2 | Digging of pits of size 750mm X 750mm X 750mm in any type of soil including removal of excavated soil and filling back the pit with suitable growing media like red earth by treating with farm yard manure in the ratio (3:1), fertilizers and pesticides (i.e Bavitin and Neem cake, BHC 10% linson dust, thimment or phorate, super and vermi compost) and making up the trench area to proper levels including supply and planting tree plants species 3 to 4 feet height such asBottle Pam, Thuja, Xmas, Ferocaria , Karanja (Pongamia pinnata), Kachanar(Bahuania Veriegeta) Gulmohar (delonix Regia), Amaltas (Cassisa Fustula), Ashoka (Polyalhthia Longifolia), as directed by Engineer -in-charge |

| 4 | Excavating in any type of soil upto 450mm wide and not exceeding 450mm deep and removing excavted soil a distance n.exc 50m, filling back with sweet earth 15cm thick mixed with farmyard manure in the ratio (3:1) breaking the clads with wooden sludges, treating soil with fetilizers and pesticides (i.e Bacitin and Neem cake, BHC 10% linson dust, thimment or phorate, super and vermi compost in ratio(1:3), planting of hedging and edging plants such asDuranta Gold, Acalypha siamensis, caesaipinia,alamands,seasonal annuals etc, of height 6 inches single row 6 inches apart shade loving foliage plants shall be of herbaceous, perennialsas approved by GE and all as directed |
| 5 | Maintenance of well developed plants/grass/trees provided vide SI. Items Nos 1 to 4by engaging well experienced Gardener minimum 1 No per day all as specified and as directed.The maintenance shall includes the following:-(a) Periodical de-weeding of unwanted vegetation growth around the plants/lawn area.(b) Watering all the trees/plants/lawn areas as required for proper growth,(c) Periodical Lawn mowing,(d) Periodical prunning the Shrubs and (e) Treating the trees/plants/grass and soil with required quantity of approved manure, pesticides and fertilizers including necessary topping of red earth.(f) Replacement of dried/dead plants/grass/trees |
| 6 | Note:-(i) The works covered under this item shall immediately commence from the next date of certified date of completion of Phase I woks issued by GE and shall run for a period of 02 years.(ii) The rate quoted shall be deemed to include the cost of manure, pesticide and fertilizers, cost of plants required for replacement of dried/dead plants/grass/trees and cost of red earth for topping up.(iii) Water shall be supplied free of cost for maintenance only of well developed plants/grass/trees provided vide SI Item Nos 1 to 4. However the contractor has to make necessary arrangements for irrigation from the water point given by suitable method at site without any extra cost to the department. |
