1Note: The Bidder should note following points in connection to this tender: (1) The scope of work includes both technical and colony area at RRCAT, Indore. (2) The Work of repainting includes both residential and public buildings. In case of residential quarters the painting work will be carried out invacated quarters during the vacation period as decided by the Enigneer-In Charge. (3) The water proofing treatment shall be carried out based on complaints/requirement from users/as decided by the Engineer-in-charge. The area to be taken up for water proofing may include part or Whole of the buildings asdecided by the Engineer-in-Charge. The material required for water proofing shall be stocked according to the requirement. (4) The Total quantity of materials, tools and plants, scaffolding required as per the scehdule quantities to be procured as per the instructions of the Engineer-in-charge and stocked well in advance at the site.(5) The Store/Godown for storing materials, tools & plants for the work will be resposibility of the contractor at RRCAT premises and at the location as decided by the Engineer-in Charge.(6) Safety requirement to be followed as per tender conditions.
2(7) The bidder must possess valid EPF & ESIC registration. The bidders need to deposit EPF & ESIC with appropriate authority. The reimbursement for EPF & ESIC deposit shall not be made. (8) The payment of wages to labourers should be made through bank. (9) The bidder must posses sufficient manpower & other resources (As deatiled in SGF) required for timely completion of work. (10) The minimum Running bill amount should not be less than Rs.5.00 Lakh
3Dismantling the mosaic tiles/white glazed tile/kotah stone/Mangalore tiles including Ridgesetc. in flooring/skirting/dado etc. including dismanteling of bedding mortor/overdeck insulation etc. stacking of materials within 50 meters lead and disposing of debris within 50 mtr. lead etc. complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
4Dismantling old plaster or skirting, racking out joints and cleaning the surfaces for plaster including scaffolding, disposal of debris to the dumping ground within 50 mtr. lead etc. complete as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
5WATER PROOF CEMENT PLASTER20 mm thickat all levels in cement mortar 1:3, finished smooth with neat cement punning and additionof water proofingcompound@ 2%by weightofcementor as per recommendation of manufacturers, over treated / untreatedR. C. C. roof slab(after applying cement slurry)including double scaffolding,curing,hackingofconcrete surfaces, reaparing visible holes/honeycomb if any etc. complete as per drawings,specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
6Applying at all levels TWO coats of Cement Slurry duly modified with Acrylic Polymer of Hydrocrete of preffered make polymers in one or two part system including removing fungal growth if any, surface preparation , instant plugging of visible source of ingress using approved equivelent polymers of preffered make, penetrable grouting of surface using mixingof cement and approved Acrylic Polymer @ 50 % by weight of cement for application in each coat (base coat with ordinary cement and top coat with white cement of approved brand), glass fibre matt of min. 45 gsm, curing each coat for at last three days , scaffolding , cost of all materials like cement, colour pigment mixed with acrylic polymer,water proofing compound, approved equivalent grouts , cleaning items, requisite labourers, tools and tackles, testing by ponding etc. complete as per drawing, generally as per Manufacturer"s specifications/recommendation and as directed by Engineer- in- Charge.
7Note:-1) The waterproofing treatment is to be guaranteed for bone dry condition for a period of 05 years. 2) The measurement for payment shall be the actual superficial area covered by the treatment. Edges shall be treated but shall not be measured seperately. 3) An amount @ 10% of the gross value of the item shall be with held by the department for the period of 05 years from the date of completion.(as per service guarantee)
8Repairing the cracks in wall/ceilling by making groove of size 6mm X 6mm, cleaning the grooved surface, remove loose material if any, fill the crack with elastomeric polymer based crack filling compound of preffered make polymers in one or two part system including removing fungal growth if any, surface preparation , scaffolding , cost of all materials, requisite labourers, tools and tackles etc. complete generally as per Manufacturer"s specifications/ recommendation and as directed by Engineer- in- Charge.
9Providing & applying breathable, non reactive, transperent,antifungal, non blackening-wettable, water repellent coat of seal coat of preffered make, silicon in solvent base WACKER 290 /REPELLIN WR ofpreffered make with two coats as per manufacturers specifications (after treating the surfaces for cracks, cleaning the surface, all wax, oil or grease should be removed by swabbing with a suitable solvent, followed by a thorough scrubbuing with a mild detergent ) at all levels on old horizental & /or vertical cementedsurfaces to give water tight surface of uniform finish without causing any scratch or damage etc.complete generally as permanufacturers specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note:-1) The waterproofing treatment is to be guaranteed for bone dry condition for a period of 03 years.2) An amount @ 10% of the gross value of the item shall be with held by the department for the period of 03 years from the date of completion.(as per service guarantee)
10Removing bitumin based water proofing treatment from terrace, chajjas etc. & disposal of all materials within 50 meter lead including cost of all materials, labour, tools & tackles, scraping the surface to make it clean, scaffolding etc. complete as perspecification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
11Disposing by mechanical transport; the garbage consisting of debris, rubbish, cartons as packing boxes, iron scraps, bitumasic sheets etc. from domestic houses/office to the predetermined locations in RRCAT campus including loading, unloading, levelling, carrying by mechanical transport as required to maintain cleanliness around houses & buildings in RRCAT campus including cost of tools & tackles, covering to avoid pilferage etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
12Providing and laying 3mm thick and weight 4kg/m². APP Polymer Modified bituminous membrane (non-woven polyester reinforced) of preffered make, weighing not less than 160 grams/m² and having specified properties by torch welding over a layer of the bituminous primer @ 0.3kg/m² (minimum) and confirming to IS-3384, 1965 on prepared surfaces, side and end laps between adjacent rolls shall be kept 10 cms and 15 cms respectively and torch bonded by hot round nosed trowel to ensure water tightness. Providing and applying on top of the membrane two coats ofreflective Aluminum paint all as per manufacturer"s specification & as directed by Engineer-in-charge. & as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note: 1. The waterproofing treatment shall be guaranteed for absolute water tightness for a period of 5 years. The measurement for payment shall be the entire area of slab/walls covered by the treatment in m². and no extra shall be paid for laps. 2. An amount @ 10% of the value of the item shall be withheld by the department for a period of 5 years from the date of completion.
13Scraping the walls and concrete surfaces to remove the existing wite wash, distemper etc., at all height including necessary scaffolding inclusive of the cost of sand papers, steel scrapers etc. complete as per drawing, specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
14Painting plastered surfaces with two coats of Acrylic emulsion paint of approved shade and preffered make over one coat of approved cement primer including preparing the surfaces, filling with full wall putty, scaffolding and cleaning etc. complete
15DISTEMPERING with two coats of SYNTHETIC OIL BOUND WASHABLE DISTEMPER of approved shade and preffered make over one coat of approved cement primer, including preparing the surfaces, filling with full wall putty, scaffolding and cleaning etc. complete.
16Repainting of old painted surfaces with two coats of paint of approved shade and make including preparing the surfaces, removal of old paint, if any, sand papering, filling with putty as required, scaffolding and cleaning etc. complete.
17Using Synthetic oil bound distemper
18Using Acrylic Emulsion paint (On plastered surface)
19Using synthetic enamel paint (On wood/steel surfaces)

22Applying one coat of approved make primer over old painted surfaces including preparing the surfaces, removal of old paint, sand papering, filling hair cracks with putty & other cracks with "Roofe" repair mortar, wherever required to have proper & levelled surface to receive finishing coat scaffolding,cost of all materials,labour etc.all complete as per drawing, specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

25Painting theOld exterior walls and roof at all levels with two coats of preffered make exterior paint of preffered make appoved shade including preparing the surfaces by removing loose dust and dirt with stiff brush and washing the surface with clean water, treating surface with anti-fungus chemical wherever required,fillingholes with putty, scaffolding etc.complete as perspecifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
26Providing & applying, at all heights, 2 coats of overall dry film thickness of 150 microns using approved shade TWO COMPONENT ALIPHATIC POLYURETHANE WALL COATING using FIBFLOOR-PU of preffered make over Polymer wall putty for smooth finish on entire surface area of wall including preparing the surface etc complete as per drawing, generally as per manufacturer’s recommendation / specification and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: The rate includes cost of all materials, labour, GST & all other taxes, scaffold, tools & tackles, safety appliances etc.
27Preparing the surface and etching with 10% commercial hydrochloric acid wherever necessary, neutralising the etched areas by washing with 5% solution of soda ash, applying one coat of pigmented epoxy based primer followed by one coat of epoxy based trowelling compound, cutting and grinding the surfaces wherever necessary using waterproof quality emery paper and applying three finishing coats of epoxy based polyamine/polyamide cured special acid and alkali resistant paint of approved make & tint including preparing surfaces, scrapping, filling holes, cracks, joints, wherever necessary with epoxy based trowelling compound, cost of all materials, scaffolding and labour, tools & tackles, safety appliances and as per manufacturer"s recommendations.
