Tender For Repair / Maintenance Of Ht Ug / Oh Network, Ht Vcbs, Rmus, Distribution Transformers And Connected Works At Sector B Area Under Ge ( Utility ) Ambala Cantt; 1 Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth for foundation, shafts, man holes,for under ground cable / erection of poles, stays etc not exceeding 10 Square metre on plan and getting out in soft/loosesoil including dressing/trimming of sides and leveling, grading and ramming of bottom of excavation complete all as specified and as directed. 2 All as per item No. 1 above but excavation depth exceeding 1.5 metre and not exceeding 3.0 metre. 3 Material and labourfor Sand cushioning to cable with a layer of sand 8 cm deep before laying the cable and 15 cmsdeep after laying the cable (punned down to 18 cms depth after laying and stretching of cable ) complete all as specified and as directed.Note:- Punned thickness 18cm shall be measured for payment purposes. 4 Supplying and laying un-reinforced precast cement concrete cable cover, class HV, Type 1, with peak, size 300mm x 180 mm x 40 mm, complete, all as specified and as directed. 5 Supply and erecting prestressed concrete pole 11.0 mtr long in true vertical position 152x152 mm at top and 152x260 mm at bottom, class -9, conforming to IS-1678 and including marking alternate 05 Nos white and black strip 30cm height with two coats ofsynthetic enamel paint includingpreparation of surfaces, upto 1.5 metre above the coping of pole, starting with black strip, including dismantling and taking down of old unserviceable PCC HT pole complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE:- Excavation, earth work, PCC work, channel, clamps, nuts, bolts etc shall be measured and paid separately. 6 Supply and erecting steel tubular swaged poles complete with cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts & screws as specified type 410 SP-55 (11.0 metres long) conforming to IS-1678 and including marking alternate 05 Nos white and black strip 30cm height with two coats ofsynthetic enamel paint includingpreparation of surfaces, upto 1.5 metre above the coping of pole, starting with black strip, including dismantling and taking down of old unserviceable steel tubular HT pole complete all as specified and directed. Note: Excavation and earth wok and PCC for foundation, channel, clamps nuts, bolts to be measured and paid separately. 7 Material and labour for plain cement concrete 1:4:8 type D-2 (using 40 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate), as in foundation filling and mass concrete, complete, all as specified and as directed. 8 Material and labour for plain cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 (using 40 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregates) as in fixing of hold fast, coping of pole and strut, bed plates and the like, finishing the surface fair and even, including necessary form work, complete, all as specified and as directed. 9 Returning, filling in, in soil, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick of any description, complete, all as specified and as directed. 10 Removing excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and deposited where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point, complete, all as specified and as directed. 11 Supply and fixing in replacement of GI tubing, 80mm bore, light grade, for cable protection along/on poles/culvert/drainage or under road crossing, complete, all as specified and as directed. 12 Supply and fixing in replacement of GI tubing, 100mm bore, light grade, for cable protection along/on poles/culvert/drainage or under road crossing, complete, all as specified and as directed. 13 Supply and fixing in replacement of GI tubing, 150mm bore, light grade, for cable protection along/on poles/culvert/drainage or under road crossing, complete, all as specified and as directed. 14 Supply and fixing in replacement of danger notice plate 1.60 mm thick of size 25x20 cm, mild steel sheet, vitreous enameled red colour, with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal white colour and fixed with M.S. clamps, bolts and nuts of approved size for HT, complete, all as specified and as directed. 15 Supply, installing, testing and commissioning of air break gang operated triple switch (GODO) outdoor type, vertical mounting type of capacity 200 Amp with drop out fuse consisting 12 insulators, ISI marked mechanically operated, mounted on insulator and frame work with operating GI rods and mechanical work from ground level with locking arrangement including Godrej pad lock with two keys complete with fuse carrier and HT fuse element having upto 200 Amp rating suitable for HT 11 KV 50 HZ AC supply including necessary electric connection and dismantling and taking down of old unserviceable GOD complete all as specified and directed. 16 Material and labour in replacement of lightning arrester expulsion type, suitable for 11000 Volt, with allfittings, trasmission class,discharge capacity 65 KA including connecting with HT line and dismantling and taking down of old unserviceable lightning arrester complete all as specified and as directed. 17 Material and labour for aluminium conductor steel reinforced (ACSR)weasel/squirrel conductor from 66 KV sub station and other areas, including fixing, stretching on poles and proper noseling with binding wire to insulator of any size on 11 KV OH line as required at site and dismantling and taking down of old unserviceable ACSR conductor complete all as specified directed. 18 Takingout old unserviceable earthing material and provision of new earthing complete with galvanisedearth plate electrode 600mm x 600mmx 6mm thick surrounded by charcoal and salt, buried directly in ground vertically in a pit of depth not less than 2.25m belowground level with top edge of the earthplate not less than 1.5m belownormal groundlevel, connected to 4.00 mmwire earth lead by means of bolts, nuts, checks nut and washers made out of galvanized iron or steel, earth wire protected by galvanized steel pipe 15mm dia (light grade) and connected to main switch or main control board all as shown in electrical plate No.3 of SSR Part-I & including necessary excavation and earth work. The rate also include charcoal & salt in alternate layers, 20mm dia GI pipe (light grade) for watering, protection pipe, funnel, wire mesh,RCC cover etc, complete, all as specified or indicated and as directed including testing on completion. 19 Taking out old unserviceable earthing material and provision of new earthing complete galvanisedearth plate electrode 600mm x 600mmx 6.00mm thick surrounded by charcoal and salt, buried directly in ground vertically in a pit of depth not less than 2.25m belowground level with top edge of the earthplate not less than 1.5m belownormal groundlevel, connected to 25x4 mm GI strip earth lead by means of bolts, nuts, checks nut and washers made out of galvanized iron or steel, earth wire protected by galvanized steel pipe 40mm dia (light grade) and connected to main switch or main control board all as shown in electrical plate No.3 of SSR Part-I & including necessary excavation and earth work. The rate also include charcoal & salt in alternate layers, 20mm dia GI pipe (light grade) for watering and 40mm GIprotection pipe, funnel, wire mesh,cast iron cover andframe etc, complete, all as specified or indicated and as directed including testing on completion. 20 Taking out old unserviceable earthing material and provision of new earthing complete copper plate electrode 600mm x 600mmx 3.15mm thick surrounded by charcoal and salt, buried directly in ground vertically in a pit of depth not less than 2.25m belowground level with top edge of the earthplate not less than 1.5m belownormal groundlevel, connected to 20x3 mm copper strip earth lead by means of bolts, nuts, checks nut and washers made out of galvanized iron or steel, earth wire protected by galvanized steel pipe 32mm dia (medium grade) and connected to main switch or main control board all as shown in electrical plate No.3 of SSR Part-I & including necessary excavation and earth work. The rate also include charcoal & salt in alternate layers, 20mm dia GI pipe (light grade) for watering and 40mm GIprotection pipe, funnel, wire mesh,cast iron cover andframe etc, complete, all as specified or indicated and as directed including testing on completion.Notes for Item Nos 18.00, 19.00 & 20.00 : (i) The quoted rate shall include the cost of earth work, GI pipe for watering, GI protection pipe, funnel, wire wesh, RCC cover, etc. complete. RCC cover shall be 50mm thick in 1:2:4 type B-1 using 8mm bars @10cm c/c both way.(ii) The quoted rate shall include the cost of earth pit covers to be conspicuously marked of plate with stand grouted in PCC.(iii) On testing after completion if the desired earth resistance is more than 2 ohm the earthing will be redone at no extra cost. 21 Dismantling and taking down of old unserviceable cross arms, clamps, bracing, etc. of any section from pole including nuts, bolts, washers and cutting of bolts (slag bolts) if required complete and material and labour for new cross arm bracing supports, clamp and back plates fabricated from structural steel section including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling hole for bolts in any shape or size as indicated or directed including two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete, all as specified and as directed. 22 Supply and fixing pin type, porcelain,vitreous,white or brown or green insulators,11000 volts grade of 150 mm dia, 150 mm height including one galvanized mild steel spindle, two galvanised iron washers and one galvanized iron nuts and dismantling and taking down of old unserviceable insulators complete all as specified and as directed. 23 Supply and fixing disc type insulators, porcelain, vitreous 145 mm height and 255 mm dia ball and socket type, white, brownor green single disc assembly for tension with tension clamps for conductor, working pressure 11000 volts grade,and dismantling and taking down of old unserviceable insulators complete all as specified and as directed. 24 Supply and fixing of stay assembly complete with all accessories such as stay plate 300mmx300mmx6mm,stay rod 20 mm dia and 215cm long threaded end with nuts including 14mm dia GIstay bow. turn buckle,etc. complete, all as shown in Electrical plate No 1 of SSR part I 2009 complete including dismantling and taking down of old unserviceable stay assembly all as specified and as directed. Note- The quoted rate shall include the cost of loop type insulator, stay clamps, excavation, PCC, stay wire, stay bow, turn buckle, nuts etc., excavation, demolition and removal of demolished concrete outside defence land complete. 25 Supply only in replacement of silica gel 4-6 mesh suitable for transformers breather andprotect VCBs, RMUs from moisture at66 kV / 11 KV stations complete as per site requirement complete, all as specified and as directed. 26 Material and labour for detecting of fault in UG cable with fault locator equipment which is capable to supplyas per cable of (11 KV/430 volts) serviceable to cable complete all as specified and directed.Note :- (a) The fault which is detected through cable fault locater will only be paid under this item. (b) Charges of cable fault locator and DG set including transportation charges deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (c ) Earth fault locator will be provided by the contractor for even singlefault and no dealy on this account will be acceptable otherwise penality will levied Rs 500/- per day.(d) (d) Necessarytesting of cable after making joint will be deemed to be including in the cost of relevent item. However necessary earth work cable cutting, joint making jointwill be paid under relevant item. 27 Supply andfixing of self-fusing Ethylene Propylene Rubber(EPR)based high-insulating voltage tape of width not less than 19 mm and thickness not less than 0.75 mm of any length to protectHT/LT XLPE cable from moisture and current leakage complete, all as specified and as directed. 28 Material and labour for Boaring of holes under road, pavement, hard standing of any material and description,by trench less technology using ultra sound technique or manual boringincluding providing HDPE pipe of 80-150mm dia suitable for 0.4 mpa working pressure complete, all as specified and as directed.Note:- Boring depth as decided by Engineer-in-Charge.Material and labour for augering of hole of suitable dia & providing heavy duty HDPE pipe of size 80-150mm dia in true horizontal drill under existing National Highway,road and railway track, buildings comlpete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.NOTE:- (i) The auguring of horizontal hole will be carried out through trenchless horizontal boring machine as shown in site plan.(ii) the cost of HDPE pipe machinery ,transportation,DG Set etc included in the rate quoted.(iii) The boring will be carried out upto 03 mtr deep below the railway track ground level and NH 1 A line cost of excavation of working space as both side of trenchless boring will be deemed to be included in the rate quoted. (iv) while carrying out the work below railway track and NH 1 A , the contractor will adhere to instruction issued by the respective authority. The work will be carried out of at such places under the supervision of MES and Railway/ Highway authirities. (v) Any damage of other property like sewage pipes, other cables , water pipes etc will be repaired/replaced under this item without extra cost , department will not responsible of any damage. 29 Supplying and laying of XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (Heavy duty) with aluminium conductor, 11000 Volts grade, cross sectional area 95 Sqmm 3 core, suitable for 11 KV earthed system confirming to IS 7098 Part - 2 for insulation and for conductors Class 2 to IS 8130 - 84, in trenches, floors, ducts passing through pipe forroad crossing etc, including connecting & testing and disconnecting and taking down of old unserviceable HT cable complete all as specified and directed.(Note : Excavation, earth work, brick protection, sand cushioning and GI pipe etc shall be measured & paid for separately). 30 Supplying and laying of XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (Heavy duty) with aluminium conductor, 11000 Volts grade, cross sectional area 120 Sqmm 3 core, suitable for 11 KV earthed system confirming to IS 7098 Part - 2 for insulation and for conductors Class 2 to IS 8130 - 84, in trenches, floors, ducts passing through pipe forroad crossing etc, including connecting & testing and disconnecting and taking down of old unserviceable HT cable complete all as specified and directed.(Note : Excavation, earth work, brick protection, sand cushioning and GI pipe etc shall be measured & paid for separately). 31 Supplying and laying of XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (Heavy duty) with aluminium conductor, 11000 Volts grade, cross sectional area 185 Sqmm 3 core, suitable for 11 KV earthed system confirming to IS 7098 Part - 2 for insulation and for conductors Class 2 to IS 8130 - 84, in trenches, floors, ducts passing through pipe forroad crossing etc, including connecting & testing and disconnecting and taking down of old unserviceable HT cable complete all as specified and directed.(Note : Excavation, earth work, brick protection, sand cushioning and GI pipe etc shall be measured & paid for separately). 32 Material and labour for cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for straight through heatshrinkable type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 50 sqmm to 95 sqmm incl taking down old unsv HT joint complete all as specified and directed . 33 Material and labour for cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for straight through heatshrinkable type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 120 sqmm to 185 sqmm incl taking down old unsv HT joint complete all as specified and directed . 34 M&L for cable end termination jointing kit HT 11 KV grade earthed system (heat shrinkable) outdoor type complete with jointing material suitable for HT XLPEcable 50-95 sqmm 3 core 11 KV grade earthed system incl taking down old unsv HT joint complete all as specified and directed . 35 M&L for cable end termination jointing kit HT 11 KV grade earthed system (heat shrinkable) outdoor type complete with jointing material suitable for HT XLPEcable 120-185 sqmm 3 core 11 KV grade earthed system incl taking down old unsv HT joint complete all as specified and directed . 36 Taking down old unserviciable board and supply and fixing of Retro reflective sign board of size 600 x 750 sqmm made of ACP sheet of 3mm thick ACP sheet shall be fixed on MS frame with legs of MS angle section 40mm X 40mm X 5mm grouted in PCC 1:3:6 type C-1, 750mm above the ground level and 600mm below the ground level. The background of board to be provided with red colour, letters and border with white retro reflective tape. Same description shall be mentioned on both sides of ACP sheet complete all as specified and directed.NOTE:- (i) Excavation, earth work, PCC, nuts, bolts, fasners, paint on MS frame and legs shall be included in quoted rates by contractor.(ii) The size of letters and description shall be all as per sample approved by Engr-in-Charge. 37 Material and labour for cable route indicator showing MES HT UG 11 KV and route of cable with arrow (should be embossed or engraved) made of RCC in suitable shape and fixed in PCC block 1:3:6 type C-2 using 40mm graded aggregate) 60cm xz 30cm in ground, 30cm below ground level and 30cm above ground level to show clear indication of cable including painting the complete slab with red paint and making the engraved/embossed letters/arrows with white paint, complete all as specified and as directed. 38 Material and labour for shifting heavy items /excavating /cleaning areas /clearing site by providing crane/hydra/excavators as required at site complete all as specified and as directed. 39 Material and labour for for loose filling in substations, under poles, under transformers of hard core broken to gauge not exc 63 mm broken stone/boulders including leveling and spreading lime stone powder under stones complete all as specified and as directed. 40 Material and labour for prepration of old concrete surface of HT poles, 11 metres high including PCC coping, removing old paint particles and apply two coats of cement base paint on the surface of pole and PCC coping, applying two coat of aluminium paint on cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps, eye hooks, security light bracket clamp etc and marking black and white strips with synthetic enamel paint, 30 cm wide, alternatively upto 1.5 mtr above the coping of pole starting with black strip complete, all as specified and directed.Note.(i)The quoted rate shall include marking of numbers on each HT pole as per direction of Engr-in-Charge.(ii)The quoted rates includes the cost of repairing of coping in cement mortar 1:3 finishing surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement. 41 Material and Labour for prepration of old steel surface of HTpoles, 11 metres high including PCC coping, removing old paint particles and apply two coats of synthetic paint on the surface of pole and two coat of cement base paint on surface of PCC coping, applying two coat of aluminium paint on cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps, eye hooks, security light bracket clamp etc and marking black and white strips with synthetic enamel paint, 30 cm wide, alternatively upto 1.5 metre above the copping of pole starting with black strip complete, all as specified and directed.Note.(i)The quoted rate shall include marking of numbers on each HT pole as per direction of Engr-in-Charge.(ii)The quoted rate include the cost of repairing of coping in cement mortar 1:3 finishing surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement. 42 Supplying and laying in replacement of synthetic Rubber insulated mats 2.5 mm thick for voltage upto 11 kv forlectrical purpose as per IS 15652-2006, (superseding IS 5424) suitable for electrical shock safety of sizes 10m x 1m complete all as specified and diercted. 43 Calibration of VCBs relay by injecting high voltage through CTs checking the over load system of VCB upto 90% rated load and artificial fault creation and setting of relay by 10 to 15% of rated load removing unseviceable overload and earth fault relay including connections with power pack, opening out the trolley, checking the operation of VCB mechanically and electrically through shunt trip coil includng energizing of automatically, checking of TNC switch including testing and commissioning complete all as specified and directed.Note :- Calibration to be carried out by authorised person and test certificate shall be furnished 44 Taking out the HT 11 KV metalclad Vaccum circuit breaker of capacity 630A/1250 A, 11000 volts,3 ph, 50 Hz, 350 MVA of any make and type from the cubical panel, for repairs/overhauling and servicing including replacement of wornout parts comprising the following works (a) Removing the complete fixed contacts, moving contacts, cleaninig the contacts, removing the fittings and fixing back to the breakers after adjusting the pressure.(b) Checking charging motor, motor relay, anti pump relay of the breaker, lubricate and align properly for smooth and perfect operation. (c) Check and service the operating mechanism closing mechanism, and tripping mechanism including spring pressure, position etc. The labour charges are deemed to be included in the quoted unit rate for this item.Note (i) Servicing shall be performed by authorised service personnel of OEM i.e M/s ABB/Seimens. (ii) Servicing certficate shall be provided to engineer-in-charge. (iii) Replacement of minor spares like Push button lever, Green push button, red push buttons and shaft for operating handles etc. are inclusive of rate quoted by tenderer (iv) Measurment of resistance value, tools, labour, petroleum jelly are incl in this quoted rates (v) Part will be replaced under relevent items. 45 Material and labour for highly HT insulating opaque red coloured ANTI TRACK COMPOUND SPRAY 320 of MOSIL LUBICANTS that forms flexible chemical resistant coating to class H winding for electrical apparatus, in 500 ml spray bottles to protect HT equipments, bus bar, CTs, PTs from current leakage due to moisture complete all as specified and as directed. 46 Material and labour for Danment Chemical spray (DC>2.26 having container 415ml/300g) for precision blended multipurpose product to protect HT equipments from corrosion due to moisture complete all as specified and as directed.Make : Danmet Chemical Pvt Ltd or equivalent as specified. 47 Material and labour for spraying chemical (roundup) on area to remove unwanted vegitation/ grass at various locations as directed by Engr-in-ChargeNote : (i)Labour and equipments required to spray chemical on required area are included in the quoted rates. 114Supply and pouring new transformer oil as per IS : 335 (1993)for transformers installed at various site for topping up after dehydration to achieve the di electric strength 60 KV at 4 mm gap and topping up in the transformer under repair in workshop complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note : Transformer oil shall be brought at site in sealed container from the original manufacturer and shall be opened in front of Engr-in-charge, Container shall be deposited by the contractor to the deptt, which will be returned after completion of conract.

124Surface Dressing/Cleaning of various 11 KV sub-stations free from vegetation of any type including trimming of tree branches, bushes, creepers, etc. complete all as specified & directed. Note: The frequency of surface dressing shall not be less than 2 months.
125Trimming of tree branches upto 75 mm dia to clear the route of HT/LT over head conductors in switch yards and open joints upto 3m from the 125 conductor including removing the cut branches from site and depositing at places n exc 50m all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: (i) One/more tree branches covering 3m shall be considered as one unit. (ii) The frequency of trimming of tree branches shall not be less than 2 months.
126Note:-Amount of credit ofRs. 233722.50 for retrieved materials is mentioned in Schedule of Credit Page No. 17 & 18 of tender documents in pdf form which will be deducted offline while acceptance of tender.
