(i) Disconnecting alternator assembly from its base and removing all necessary electrical connections and removing the alternator from the engine – 01 Job(ii) Transportation of alternator assembly from 320 DG Room to work shop – 01 Job(iii) Dismantling of complete alternator assembly, exciter winding for testing and removing of u/s winding and coupling – 01 Job(iv) M & L for rewinding of the exciter with super enamelled copper wire of size as originally provided – 01 Job(v) M & L for varnishing of main field winding and excitor winding as originally provided and oven drying – 01 Job(vi) M & L for replacement of all old insulation paper with nomex ‘F’ class insulation paper – 01 Job(vii) Replacement u/s alternator coupling – 01 Job(viii) M & L for replacement of u/s rubber spider – 01 Job(ix) Transportation of alternator assembly from work shop to INS Chilka – 01 Job. Note :-(I) The repair cost is inclusive of GST and any other tax as applicable.(ii) Old unserviceable retrived material shall be property of the contractor for which necessary credit shall be deducted.
