Tender For Purchase Of Rotary Vacuum Evaporator For Department Of Life Science Of The University Rotary Vacuum Evaporator with supply and complete installation on site:- Specifications for Rotary evaporator with water bath, chiller and vacuum pump 1. Rotary Evaporator with water bath  Rotary evaporator should have flask capacity of 50-1000 ml, should be supplied with 1 L evaporating & receiving flask.  It should be compatible with 5 L evaporating flask with optional 5 L heating bath.  Rotary evaporator should have advanced Intuitive touchscreen display operation that allows precise operation of all process parameters like Heating bath temperature, rotation speed, Lift up down position control & selection for lift speed. 2. Heating Bath: a. Bath should be oval shaped seamless vessel for safer & convenient immersion of flask b. Temperature range up to 200 oC. c. Oil & Water mode with control accuracy of ±2 & ±1 Deg C. d. Effortless lateral moment of bath with reference scale to adjust bath according to size of evaporating flask. e. Floating overshoot alarm f. Over temperature cut off g. Bath fill volume − 5 L Instrument should have seal life indicator & replacement alarm It should have variable speed from 20 to 280 RPM 3. Automation: a. It should have touchscreen control display operation that allows precise display & control of all process & set parameters like heating bath temperature, rotation speed, Process timer, Lift up down position control & selection for lift speed etc. b. At elapse of timer heating, rotation should be stopped & lift automatically raised to top position. c. Should have rotation speed 20− 280 RPM & facility bidirectional /reversible rotation for evaporating flask to enable efficient & uniform evaporation. d. It should have facility for selecting solvent from in−built solvent library for the regularly used solvents, so that controlling parameters are set automatically according to solvent selection. e. Solvent laboratory should have facility to enter at least three USER SETTABLE solvent parameters. f. Auto lift in case of power failure. g. It Should display vapour temperature h. It should have seal life indicator & replacement alarm i. It should have Stop key on screen to stop all process instantly. It should have vertical condenser with cooling area of minimum 1200 sq.cm cooling area. Condenser should have PTFE feed stop cock for easy handling & avoid breakage. It should be equipped with flask ejector for easy removal of jammed evaporating flask. Glassware should have standard joints S35, B29 & threaded GL14 Nozzles 4. Recirculating Chiller  The recirculating Chiller must be designed for operation with laboratory Rotary Evaporator.  The working temperature range should be −10ºC to room temperature.  The setting and display resolution of the chiller should be 0.1ºC.  It should feature a PID temperature control system.  It should have a cooling capacity of approx 750W at 15ºC.  The tank volume should be approx 4 litres.  It should have a maximum pump flow rate of 15 LPM.  It should have inbuilt digital temperature controller cum indicator.  The Chiller should be compact with external dimensions not exceeding 560 x 410 x 640 mm (W x D x H). 5. Vacuum pump  Diaphragm vacuum pump should reach ultimate vacuum of 40 mbar  Diaphragm should be of PTFE sandwiched to a strong non−wetted backing.  The valves of vacuum pump should be made of chemical resistive materials like PEEK or other similar material.  It should be two stage vacuum pump with noise level not more than 50 db.  Vacuum pump should have free air displacement capacity of: 38 lit/min  Vacuum pump should be compact so that it occupies minimal desk space.  External dimension should not be more than 28 x 28 x 20 cm.  Vacuum Pump should have In /Out serrated nozzles of Ø8 mm aprox.  To avoid Solvent entering in to vacuum pump, it should be Supplied with glass bottle solvent separator with two serrated nozzles and threaded caps − all fitted in a lockable stainless steel cage  Enabling easy removal & fitting for emptying.  Vacuum Pump should have inbuilt over temperature protection.  It should have IP protection of 54.  Manufacturer should be ISO 13485 certified. Comprehensive warranty of 2 years for the system and all the peripherals equipment’s.
