License fee for operating Registered Vehicle Scrapping Facility (RVSF) for 15 years using the implementation rights of Kerala State Road Transport Corporation Ltd (KSRTC) in the land owned and offered by KSRTC to the Bidder. The License fee for first year shall be paid to KSRTC as upfront payment before the commencement of operation of RVSF. The license fee shall be increased at the rate of 5% in every year till the completion of 15 years and license fee shall be paid before the commencement of subsequent years of operation and as per the Concession Agreement. The license fee shall be paid irrespective of the vehicles scrapped and revenue generated in the RVSF.Note: -(i) Lease rent (Land premium) of Rs.3,18,03,835/- for the use of 2 Acres of land in KSRTC Depot at Ponnani for establishing and operating RVSF for 15 years shall be deposited in advance to KSRTC within 60 days of issue of Letter of Award (LOA).(ii) The list of collection centres opted by the Bidder in existing KSRTC Depots along with the required area shall be mentioned in the “Letter comprising Financial Bid” and subject to the availability, KSRTC shall allot the land to the Bidder. Land premium [at the rate of Rs.50/sq.ft per month for a period of 15 years] for the use of land shall be deposited in advance to KSRTC within 60 days of issue of Letter of Award (LOA).
