NAME OF WORK:PROVISION OF 500 KVA TRANSFORMER FOR VAIRENGTE UNDER GE SILCHAR

1	Supply, installation, testing and commissioning trolley mounted (Special Application) transformer of capacity 500 KVA step down, outdoor type, 3 Phase, 50 Hz, AC oil immersed, air naturally cooled (ONAN type) with external cooling tubes/radiators, double wound core type, copper wound having voltage ratio 11 KV/0.433 KV corresponding to principal tapping, Delta connected primary winding (HV side) and star connected on secondary winding (LV side) in accordance with vector group DYN -11 (Vector group 4) with neutral brought out on LV side and with desired voltage regulation in suitable step/positions on HV side for constant output so as to alter/vary secondary voltage of +/-5 to 10% in steps of 2.5% by means of manual offload tap changing arrangements complete and conforming to IS:2026. without load loss 1 KW (Max), with load loss 8KW (Max)Having percentage of impedence not less than 4.50% complete with all standard fittings and accessories, gauge, first fillings of transformer oil etc complete all as specified and comprising with the following fittings and accessories:-

3	Supplying and fixing connecting & testing XLPE insulated, PVC sheathed, armoured HT electric power UG cable (heavy dutywith stranded aluminium conductor) of size 95 sqmm, 3 core, 11000 volts (earthed) grade, conforming to IS-7098(part-II) laid through duct/pipe/ in trench etc. with cable glands& suitable size of aluminium lugs complete all as specified and as directed.
4	Supply and laying under ground XLPE insulated PVC sheathed (Heavy duty) armoured 1100 volts grade aluminium conductor cable of size 300 Sqmm 3.5 Core laid in trenches or fixed to wall / pole /ceiling as per IS 7098 (partII) including connection cable glands, aluminium lugs etc complete all as specified and as directed.
5	Supply and fixing PVC single core multi stranded copper conductor FR-LSH cable 16 sq mm life guard compound (unsheathed) IS:694.Use as earthing lead complete all as specified and as directed.
6	Supply and fix cable jointing kit for 11 KV grade cable for outdoor termination cold shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured Aluminium conductor cable of size 95 Sqmm complete all as specified and as directed.
7	Supply of heavy duty trolley of mild steel with four wheels and one spare wheel, pneumatic withtubelesstyre, front wheels to be made moveable co-axial type, 450mm ground clearance byhydraulic jack, toe air filling pump, four wheel drum break system spring loaded draw bar liquidbased suspension system provn for idling screw jack 04 Nos for leveling transformer, towingarrangement for Eicher Vehicle, size of trolley as per OEM design of 500 KVA Transformersuitable to carry a load upto 7.5 tones alongwith 600mm outer guard shall be made of chain link ofaperture 25mm x 25mm with MS post & 600mm spacing between Transformer and outer guard andover head shed, extra space for LT cable earthing connection suitable for body complete all asspecified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.Trolley design to be got approved by contractor fromAccepting Officer.
8	Materials and labour for earthing complete with galvanised iron earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 6 mm thick, burried directly and preferably vertically in ground, earth pit not less than 2.25 Mtr deep below ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 m below ground level connetced with galvanised wire of 4mm diaby means of nuts, bolts, check nuts and washers made of galvanised iron or steel earthing lead to be protected by galvanised iron pipe of 15mm bore (light grade) and other end connected to earthing test point or lightening arrestor or main controlling switch as directed including providing funnel with 20mm bore galvanised iron pipe (medium grade), wire mesh, charcoal or coke and common salt in alternate layer of 15cm (compacted thickness) all round the earth electrode, concrete earth pit in PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 (with 20mm graded aggregate), 50mm thick precast RCC (1:2:4) cover slab (re-inforced with 8mm dia TMT bar @ 15 cm C/C bothways and suitable handle made of 10mm dia) including necessary earth work in excavation, returning filling and removal of surplus earth upto a distance not exceeding 50 m etc all as shown on electrical plate No. 3 of MES Schedule Part-I(2009) complete including testing on completion including taking down old unserviciable earthing set all as specified and as directed. Notes:- (i) Main earthing strip from earth plate electrode to rest point upto length of 7.5 meters length shall deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted against this item. (ii) On testing after completion if the desired resistenance is not obtained the contractor shall redo the earthing without any extra cost to the department.
