2Compacting Original Ground Compacting original ground supporting sub-grade Loosening of the ground upto a level of 500 mm below the sub-grade level, watered, graded and compacted in layers to meet requirement of table 300-2 for sub-grade construction.
3Construction of granular sub-base by providing close graded material, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per clause 401 By Mix in Place Method
4Supplying and filling mixture of sand and availableearth in equal ratio of 50% each as approved by Engineering - in - charge in embankment depression, shoulder etc. in layers not exceeding15cm (loose) in depth in each layer (or any thickness as approved by the Engineering- in-charge) including levelling fine dressing to the required grade, camber and slope complete as directed by the Engineer - in - charge with all leads and lifts (The item includes cost of sand, payment of necessary royalty charges, and carriage of sand up to work site for all leads and lifts involved from all sources acquired or arranged by the contractor etc. Complete. Payment to be made after deduction of voids as per CPWD specification).
5Construction of Embankmentwith Material obtained from Borrowpits Construction of embankment with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of table 300-2.
6Random rubble masonry with hard stone in foundation and plinth including levelling up with cement concrete 1:6:12 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand : 12 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) upto plinth level with : 7.1.1 Cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand)
7Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level :1:4:8 (1 Cement : 4 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 8 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)
8Dry stone pitching 22.5 cm thick including supply of stones and preparing surface complete.
