Tender For Provision Of Eot Crane For Technical Building At Dmrl Hyderabad Under Ge I Rnd Kanchanbagh ; 1 Design, Supply, Install, Testing & Commissioning Eletrically Operated Over Head Travelling ( Eot ) Crane Of Capacity To Lift 10 Ton Conforming To Is-3177 & Is-807 ( Latest Version ) Having Span Of 11.00 Metres, ( However Actual Span Dimension Shall Be In Accordance Of Crane Arrangement At Site Location ) Height Of Lift Shall Be 7.5Metres From Floor Level, Travel Bay Length 17.00 Mtrs With Hoisting Speed 3.0 Metres / Minute, Cross Travel Speed 8.0 Metres / Minute And Long Travel Speed 12.0 Metres / Minute With Micro Speed 10% Suitable For Operation On 415 Volts, 3 Phase, 4 Wire, 50 Hz Supply, Double Girder Complete Including Runway Rail On Both Sides Of Suitable Size And Shall Be Fabricated By Using Fresh Tested Steel Beam ( Ismb ) Conforming To Is:2062 Grade A Quality And Same Shall Be Installed On The Steel Structure With Necessary Fixing Arrangement As Recommended By Oem. The Crane Inclusive Of Control Panel, Power And Controlling Cables, Pendent Push Button Station, Radio Remote Control Operation, Motors, Gear Box, Rope Drum & Rope Guide, Limit Switches, Bottom Block, Wire Rope, End Truck Buffer, Brakes, Wheels, Pendent Dsl System Of Shrouded Bus Bar For Lt And Pendent Festoon For Ct Including Providing Platform On Both Sides Of Bridge Girder With Non Skid 5Mm Thick Steel Chequered Plate Entire Length Of The Crane, Bridge Width Securely Fenced With Double Tired Guard Rails. Access Ladder Shall Be Provided On Both Side Of Bay To Facilitate Maintenance Of Crane. Both Ladders Shall Be Provided With Guards To Prevent Fall And Comprising Of Following Components / Accessories All As Specified And Directed. 2 ( A ) Double Girder Box Type Construction Fabricated Using Fresh Tested Steel Plates Conforming To Is: 2062 Grade A Quality Obtained Directly From Main Steel Producers Such As Sail, Rinl, Tisco. ( C ) Electromagnetic Disc Brakes / Shoe Type Brakes / Hydraulic Thruster Type Brakes Shall Be Provided In All Motions With Suitable Sizes. ( D ) Wheels Shall Be Forged Made Of C55 Mn 75 Carbon Steel And Suitable Hardness, Double Flanged Straight Thread Type Fitted With Antifriction Roller Bearing With Supported On L Type Live Steel Axels Bearing Housing Assembly. ( E ) Wire Rope With Fibre Core Of Size 16Mm Dia, Having 06 Falls Conforming To Is: 2266 Minimum Factor Of Safety And Tensile Strength 1960N / Mm2 As Per Iso: 4309:1990 Complete With Rope Drum Fabricated From Seamless Pipe Duly Machined And Grooved To Accommodate Full Length Of Rope In One Layer. The Drum Shall Be Mounted On Antifriction Ball / Roller Bearings And Of Approved Make. 3 ( F ) Gear Box Of Crane Shall Be Totally Enclosed In Dust Proof Construction And Shall Be Machined From Alloy Steel And Hardened. All Gearing Is To Be Enclosed In A Rugged Steel Housing Including Initial Filling Of Oil / Grease Splash Lubricated. ( G ) Control Panel Indoor Type Made Out Of 2Mm Thick Crca Dust And Vermin Proof Sheet Powder Coated Painting Comprising Of Variable Speed Drives ( Vvvf Type ) Meeting The Latest Crane Control Solution Enhances Crane Performance Without Worries And Smooth Operation, Different Operating Speed For Each Process, Accurate Positioning, Suitable Switchgears, Contactors, Meters, Relay Transformers And Components, Control Wiring Etc As Per Oem. ( H ) Control Wiring And Power Wiring, Pvc Flexible Pendent Festoon System Supported On Ms Trolley For Ct And Dsl System Of Suitable Rating For Lt All As Per Oem. ( J ) Limit Switches For Upper And Lower Hoisting. ( K ) Bottom Block Shall Be Equipped With Protective Guard Around The Opening, Shank Type Forged Hook C Type, Swivelling On Thrust Bearing Tested As Per Is 15560. ( L ) Emergency Stop Button To Shutting Off The Power To The Main Contractors Shall Be Provided. 4 ( M ) End Carriages With Standard Rolled Steel Section Or Welded Plate Box Section Type Shall Be Assembled To Ensure Alignment Of Bearings And Axles, Twin Drive Arrangement, Main Cross Girders To End Trucks Connection Are Bolted To Ease In Assembly. Rubber Buffers On All End Trucks When A Moving Crane Or Trolley Reaches The Ends Of Its Permitted Travel. ( N ) Hoisting Machinery / Crab Of Heavy Duty Industrial Type. ( O ) Painting Of Crane With Two Coats Of Synthetic Enamel Paint Of Golden Yellow Of 25 Micron Over A Coat Of Primer. Final Touch Up Shall Be Done After Erection At Site And Writing The Details Of Crane Like Capacity, Date Of Installation, Load Details Etc. ( P ) Pendent Push Button Station Shall Have Push Buttons For Each Motion, Bridge Light, Siren / Bell, On And Off Switches, Emergency Stop Switch And Shall Be Hanged In The Middle Of Girder With Chrome Plated Steel Chain Duly Covered With Sleeve. ( Q ) Radio Remote Control For All Motions And Shall Have Multispeed Steps Of Operation Complete With Rechargeable Batteries And Battery Charger. ( R ) 03 Nos Of Led Light Fitting 90 Watts Shall Be Provided ( Under The Girder - 02 Nos And 01 No Under Ct Trolley ) . ( S ) Earthing Shall Be Carried Out As Per Is And Of Quantity As Suggested By Oem As Per Dsr ( Specifications ) And All As Directed To Achive The Desired Results Suggested By Oem. 5 ( T ) Welded Joint Testing Shall Be Subjected To 10% X-Ray Testing And X-Ray Films To Be Provided For Evaluation.Notes :- ( I ) However Actual Available Span & Other Dimension Are Required To Be Checked By Contractor Before Quoting ( Ii ) Cranes Shall Be Got Executed ( Installed And Commissioned ) With The Authorised Representative Of The Manufacturer. ( Iii ) Eot Crane Shall Be Installed On The Steel Structure Column By Providing Runway Beam And Runway Rail.Quoted Rate Shall Be Deemed To Have Been Included For All The Above Provisions. 6 M&L For Rolled Section As In Crane Gantries, Rails And Fastenings And Heavy Bracket Framing Of Fe 410-W ( Gde E-250 ) Quality B ( Beam Tee, Angle Channel Or Flat Section Including Distance Pieces Cleats Etc ) Complete All As Specified And Directed.Note: Item Shall Be Provided By Crane Vendor Depending On Design Of Crane.

Name of Work: PROVISION OF EOT CRANE FOR TECHNICAL BUILDING AT DMRL HYDERABAD UNDER GE (I) R&D KANCHANBAGH

1	Design, supply, install, testing & commissioning Eletrically Operated Over Head Travelling (EOT) crane of capacity to lift 10 Ton conforming to IS-3177 & IS-807 (latest version) having span of 11.00 metres, (However actual span dimension shall be in accordance of crane arrangement at site location) Height of lift shall be 7.5metres from floor level, Travel bay length 17.00 mtrs with Hoisting speed 3.0 metres/ minute, Cross Travel Speed 8.0 Metres / Minute and Long travel speed 12.0 Metres/ minute with micro speed 10% suitable for operation on 415 Volts, 3 phase, 4 wire, 50 Hz supply, double girder complete including Runway Rail on both sides of suitable size and shall be fabricated by using fresh tested steel beam (ISMB) conforming to IS:2062 Grade "A" quality and same shall be installed on the steel structure with necessary fixing arrangement as recommended by OEM. The crane inclusive of control panel, power and controlling cables, pendent push button station, radio remote control operation, motors, gear box, rope drum & rope guide, limit switches, bottom block, wire rope, end truck buffer, brakes, wheels, pendent DSL system of shrouded bus bar for LT and pendent festoon for CT including providing platform on both sides of bridge girder with non skid 5mm thick steel chequered plate entire length of the crane, bridge width securely fenced with double tired guard rails. Access ladder shall be provided on both side of bay to facilitate maintenance of crane. Both ladders shall be provided with guards to prevent fall and comprising of following components / accessories all as specified and directed.
2	(a) Double girder box type construction fabricated using fresh tested steel plates conforming to IS: 2062 grade "A" quality obtained directly from main steel producers such as SAIL, RINL, TISCO. (b) Squirrel cage induction motor of crane duty motors TEFC, "F" class insulation of suitable capacity conforming to IS: 325 & IS: 123 and as amended upto date suitable for 150 starts per hour and 40% CDF for hoist, CT & LT to work on AC 415 volts, 3 phase, 50 Hz. (c) Electromagnetic disc brakes / shoe type brakes / hydraulic thruster type brakes shall be provided in all motions with suitable sizes. (d) Wheels shall be forged made of C55 Mn 75 carbon steel and suitable hardness, double flanged straight thread type fitted with antifriction roller bearing with supported on "L" type live steel axels bearing housing assembly. (e) Wire rope with fibre core of size 16mm dia, having 06 falls conforming to IS: 2266 minimum factor of safety and tensile strength 1960N/mm2 as per ISO: 4309:1990 complete with rope drum fabricated from seamless pipe duly machined and grooved to accommodate full length of rope in one layer. The drum shall be mounted on antifriction ball / roller bearings and of approved make.
3	(f) Gear box of crane shall be totally enclosed in dust proof construction and shall be machined from alloy steel and hardened. All gearing is to be enclosed in a rugged steel housing including initial filling of oil / grease splash lubricated. (g) Control panel indoor type made out of 2mm thick CRCA dust and vermin proof sheet powder coated painting comprising of variable speed drives (VVVF type) meeting the latest crane control solution enhances crane performance without worries and smooth operation, different operating speed for each process, accurate positioning, suitable switchgears, contactors, meters, relay transformers and components, control wiring etc as per OEM. (h) Control wiring and power wiring, PVC flexible pendent festoon system supported on MS trolley for CT and DSL system of suitable rating for LT all as per OEM. (j) Limit switches for upper and lower hoisting. (k) Bottom block shall be equipped with protective guard around the opening, shank type forged hook "C" type, swivelling on thrust bearing tested as per IS 15560. (l) Emergency stop button to shutting off the power to the main contractors shall be provided.
4	(m) End carriages with standard rolled steel section or welded plate box section type shall be assembled to ensure alignment of bearings and axles, twin drive arrangement, main cross girders to end trucks connection are bolted to ease in assembly. Rubber buffers on all end trucks when a moving crane or trolley reaches the ends of its permitted travel. (n) Hoisting machinery / crab of heavy duty industrial type. (o) Painting of crane with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of golden yellow of 25 micron over a coat of primer. Final touch up shall be done after erection at site and writing the details of crane like capacity, date of installation, load details etc. (p) Pendent push button station shall have push buttons for each motion, bridge light, siren / bell, on and off switches, emergency stop switch and shall be hanged in the middle of girder with chrome plated steel chain duly covered with sleeve. (q) Radio remote control for all motions and shall have multispeed steps of operation complete with rechargeable batteries and battery charger. (r) 03 Nos of LED light fitting 90 watts shall be provided (under the girder - 02 Nos and 01 No under CT trolley). (s) Earthing shall be carried out as per IS and of quantity as suggested by OEM as per DSR (specifications) and all as directed to achive the desired results suggested by OEM.
5	(t) Welded joint testing shall be subjected to 10% X-ray testing and X-ray films to be provided for evaluation. Notes :- (i)However actual available span & other dimension are required to be checked by contractor before quoting (ii) Cranes shall be got executed (installed and commissioned) with the authorised representative of the manufacturer. (iii) EOT Crane shall be installed on the steel structure column by providing Runway Beam and Runway Rail. Quoted rate shall be deemed to have been included for all the above provisions.
6	M&L for Rolled section as in crane gantries, rails and fastenings and heavy bracket framing of Fe 410-W (Gde E-250) quality B (Beam tee, angle channel or flat section including distance pieces cleats etc) complete all as specified and directed. Note: Item shall be provided by crane vendor depending on design of crane.
