| 1 | Shifting and laying of the Insulated Chiller Pipeline (approximately 80 metres in length ) from its laid position to another position so that the Civil works can be carried out on the terrace of the convention centre Jammu. The job involves draining of all the water from the chiller plant and pipeline and removing the insulated Alumunium sheet from marked portion of the surface of the pipeline to be shifted by using sheet cutters etc. Thenchicken mesh is remove from the marked area . After that coating of thermocoal and glass wool is removed from the surface o of the pipeline. Then the pipeline is cut carefully into suitable lengths using pipe cutters and gas welding. The length of the pipes pieces should be such that they can be easily dragged manually. The pipes surface is cleaned thoroughly to remove all the rust and dirt. Then the pipes are dragged manually and carefully laid to its new position as required and welded together by gas welding method. The job also includes providing of 125 mm dia MS bends 12 Nos and 2 meters of 125 mm dia MS Pipe to be used for fabricating of U shaped bends wherever required. All the joints are welded in double layer so that all the joints areleak proof. To test the joints water is filled in the pipeline and circulated and checked for water leakage if any. After that 2 inch coating of glass wool is wrapped all over the surface of the pipeline with a coating of thermocoal specially designed for this purpose. ThenAluminium sheet of 26 guage is fixed all over the thermocoal with help of crimping tool and rivets.The job also includes shifting / lifting of power cables along with traysof chiller plant so that rain water does not accumulate on the terrace.The complete job involves cost of material, labour, tools and tackles,transportation and taxes. |
