Tender For Hoisting And Fixing Of 6-Bay Antenna And Rf Cable On Existing Antenna At Akashvani Kokrajhar. De-hoisting of existing one 3-1/8” RF feeder cable from tower: De- hoisting the existing one RF cable out of Two RF cable along with its mounting fixtures and accessories without damaging and packing the RF cable on cable drum and accessories in boxes and to be kept in safe place in consultation with HOE/IO so as the same can be dispatched and used at new locations. Approximate length of RF cable to be dismantled is 170 mtr. Other existing RF cable is to be brought down for length of 20M without damaging so as to connect with new antenna and to be layout and re-fixed along with new RF cable on new horizontal cable tray erected for standby. 1 job 2. Hoisting of 6 bay VHF Antenna: Erection, Testing and commissioning of new 6 bay VHF dipole antenna on upper second slot (VHF band) of the existing tower by side mounting after unpacking, physical checking/necessary care for the safety of the antenna system like cleaning, ingress of moisture, pressurization etc. at site before erection in accordance with the erection manual of the manufacturer along with hauling of the complete antenna system. Provision for fixing 100 mm inner dia. supporting seamless GI pipe category Class “C” GI of 18 M length for side mounting (Pole type) 6-Bay VHF FM Antenna shall be made. The supporting pole will be fixed in FM side mount antenna aperture on one of the three faces, to be intimated at the time of fixing of Antenna. The fixtures of the Antenna shall not foul with the cable routing from the power divider to the antenna. The above pipe along with its mounting arrangement shall be supplied by the tenderer. 1 job 3. Horizontal RF cable Tray: Supply, erection, testing and commissioning of Horizontal cable tray as per drawing No. TM-14453/3 provided to be connected to existing horizontal cable tray with intersection The tenderer must quote for the horizontal cable tray on the basis of per meter rates. The cable run between the tower base & transmitter building shall be through a horizontal cable tray to be provided by the tenderer. The rack will be supported on 75mm inner dia. of category Class “C” G.I. pipes or 60x60x5mm G.I. angle iron structures & the rack will be covered by Semi Circular 16 SWG G.I. sheet cover. The tenderer must quote for the horizontal cable rack on the basis of per meter rates. The approximate length of the horizontal cable rack may be taken as 40 Mts. The pricing for horizontal cable rack should include the laying charges of all cables on this tray. Horizontal cable tray shall be provided as per drawing No. TM-14453/3 and shall be connected to vertical cable tray with intersection. Pipes or angle frames should be grouted with RCC in ground as per practice (1:2:4) and have a height of 4 Mtrs from the ground. 4. Erection, testing & commissioning of new 3-1/8” RF coaxial air dielectric cables: Erection, testing & commissioning of new 3-1/8” RF coaxial air dielectric cables on the existing vertical cable tray of tower & on new horizontal tray erected. Length of RF cables to be erected is – 155 mtr. The RF cable should be fixed with clamp in the existing vertical cable rack starting from the base to the top of the tower. The cable rack shall carry all the RF feeder cables. It should have provisions for fixing the cable clamps. The RF cable should be fixed with Clamp on the Horizontal Cable tray from starting of building outlet to the vertical climbing start position of vertical cable tray. 1 job 5. Earthing: Supply & laying of 25 x 3 mm copper strip (electrolyte) 300 mm below the earth & along the cable tray from earth pit to cable earthing kits at four different positions (Transmitter end, tower end & antenna end (130 mtr.). No drilling is allowed for fixing copper strip on the tower. (Rate per meter shall be quoted by the tenderer). Actual quantity in running length shall be paid to the tenderer. (Construction of earth pits to be done as per Drawing and specification provided). 3 Nos. 6. Any other job required for the completeness of the system (item wise details of offered and included material, items & parts to be given by the tenderer)
