The design and manufacturing of panel shall be complaint to IEC 61439, IEC 62262 and relevant standards. 2.The panel shall be single front operated cubicle type sheet steel enclosure with free-standing. The panel shall be compartmentalized, with each outgoing feeder housed in a separate compartment. 3. Cable alley of minimum 200mmm with suitable supports shall be provided for the termination of cables for each vertical arrangement of outgoing and incomer feeders. 4. The DCDB shall be constructed using 1.6 / 2 mm thick CRCA sheet steel and structural steel. Suitable stiffeners shall be provided. Hinged doors shall be installed at the front and back. Inter-panel sheet steel barriers shall be provided. 5. The DC distribution board shall have a minimum IP-42 degree of ingress protection, as per IS-2147. 6. All instruments shall be flush mounted type, all. control MCB to be provided for metering and indication purpose. In specific cases, digital/analog type meters with a proven track record may also be considered. 7. All power and control wiring connections within the panels shall be carried out with 660V grade, PVC insulated, Flame Retardant Low Smoke (FRLS), BIS marked wires having stranded copper conductors. However, copper strip connections shall preferably be used for currents exceeding 100A. For Control wiring PVC FRLS copper cable of 2.5Sq.mm shall be used, however for electronic circuits/ components shall be through copper wire of minimum 0.7mm diameter. Ferruling of wires shall be as per relevant IS. 8.All metallic parts that are not carrying potential shall be properly earthed using soft drawn copper conductors. The main earth connection shall be connected to two terminals for the station earthing system. An earth bus of minimum 25 x 6 sq mm copper shall be provided throughout the panel bottom side. 9. All live parts shall be adequately covered to ensure the safety of personnel during routine maintenance when operating the panel doors. Bus bars shall be color-coded. 10. The maximum height of the operating handle/switchgear shall not exceed 1800 mm, and the minimum height shall not be below 300 mm. 11. Panel shall undergo manufacturers standard cleaning and painting cycle. After preparation of the under surface, the panel shall be painted with two coats of epoxy based final paint. Colour shade of final paint shall be RAL 7035. All unpainted steel parts shall be suitably treated to prevent rust formation. 12.
