| 14 | Providing and fixing spring post made (dark eye Model No. DA-954 or equivalent) of special PU (Poly Urethane) material should having the following features for durability and performance: - 1. The body of spring post should be made of virgin special flexible material PU (Polyurethane). 2. It can be quickly retsored to its original state without doing any damage to spring post as well as vehicles in case of high - speed collision by vehicles. 3. Two bands of special heat transfer tape/high quality tape adhesive of minimum 70 mm must be pasted on the spring post for better and clear visiblity in the night. 4. It should keep excellent, mechanical and chemical propertoes such as impact resisitance and tensile strength to withstand in very hot or very cold temperatures. 5. It should have ultra violet stablizer so that it is not discoloured. 6. It should be in three different parts: upper tubuler part should be made out of PU & two bottom parts should be made out of ABS (Astronitrilite Butadine Styrene). 7. All three parts should be assembled together with the help of three nuts and bolts. 8. Specialy epoxy bond is used to fix the spring post with road surface. The bond should be so strong that post will not be deviated by strong impact after installation. 9. Dimensions : Length 710 mm, upper dia 80 mm & bottom dia is 200 mm. | 15 | Providing and Fixing of Flexible Median Markers whichshall be made of combination of tough, high impact resistant molded thermoplastic body along with florescent yellow color retro-reflective type XI sheeting withminimum exposed reflective area 285 square mm and with rebound property. The reflective sheeting should confirm to Type XI Florescent Yellow sheeting as per IRC 67 2012 and ASTM D4956-11. The flexible median marker shallhave overall height of minimum 180 mm, body thickness of minimum 2mm and shank depth of minimum 30mm. The retro-reflective sheeting shall be on both sides of the Flexible Median Marker and shall be edge protected with no exposed edges which will prevent edge lifting, vandalism, sheeting damage, etc. The edge of sheeting should not come out easily by putting nails, sharp objects etc. The logo of the manufacturer shall be embossed on either side of the body. The plastics used for the molding the flexible median marker shall have a minimum notched Izod Impact strength value of 4.11J/cm (@thickness 3.17mm) at room temperature, tested in accordance with ASTM D256. The product design has to with stand all natural impacts and should not get damaged if any pedestrian stamp on top of it intentionally or unintentionally. The product should bend up to 90 degree on both sides without breakage or damage. The product shall be povided with 3 year outdoor weathering report as per ASTM & IRC Standards & 10 year warranty confirmation as per IRC 67:2012 standards for the reflective sheeting used in product. The product shall have accredition with IRC. |
