VARIABLE REFRIGERANT VOLUME/FLOW SYSTEMSupplyofVRF Outdoor UnitAir cooled Outdoor Condensing Units (ODU) of minimum COP 3.0 to 4.0, Inverter Compressor shall be equipped with inverter controller type to be efficient & quiet. The outdoor unit shall have the multi-step of capacity control to meet load fluctuation and AHU Cooling Coil Unit individual control. Unit shall be equipped with an oil recovery system to ensure stable operation with long refrigerant piping. System suitable for Cooling Mode only and for R-410-A. Outdoor condensing unit comprising of Hermetic SCROLL compressor\"s, Heat Exchanger, propeller / axial fans, refrigerant Circuit, filter driers, sight glass, liquid receivers, accumulators, Safety Devices, Oil Recovery System with complete charge of gas and recommended oil. The outdoor unit shall be fully capable of working in conjunction with multiple Air Handing unit Condesnsor of various capacities as listed in this BOQ. The Scope will cover the additional items if any needed to satisfactorily commission the VRF/VRV system (including additional gas needed for the piping works also). Heat Exchanger shall be constructed with copper tubes mechanically bonded to aluminum fins with anti-corrosive coating to form a cross fin coil. Copper tubes shall be internally grooved as per latest technology for effective heat transfer.Refrigerant Circuit shall include an accumulator, liquid and gas shut off valves, ball valves, distribution / refrigerant joints, control valves, andsolenoid valves. Necessary refrigerant joints within each module also to be included.The Outdoor unit shall include the following safety devices:High pressure switch, Low pressure switch, Fan motor safety thermostat, Inverter overload protector, Over Current relay, Fusible plugs, Fuses etc.,Unit shall be equipped with an oil recovery system to ensure stable operation with long refrigerant piping.Complete electrical 3 Ø , 4 lines power cabling of Al., control wiring, transmission wiring of copper required between AHU Unitsand outdoor units. Earthing of the complete system with 8 G G.I. wire. Refer to drawings for the applicable distances between units.Unit shall be with necessary AHU kit , Electrical switch gear components complete with necessary starters, fuses, switches, timers, over-load relays, contractors, push button, and indicating lamps, single phasing PREVENTOR, PCBs and controllers for fully automatic operation and interfacing with the BMS. All outdoors units shall be mounted on MS platform with suitable VI pads to avoid vibrations. The catwalk to be with railing of MS with service clearance as per manufacturers recommended standards. All the supports and angle base frame structure to be duly black painted with synthetic epoxy paint. Include draining arrangement for the ODU.The Outdoor design ambient is 33.3 / 26 .7° C DB/WB, and the units to deliver capacity to meet inside conditions 20 to 22°C & 55 +/- 5 % Rh Indoor ConditionsFollowing are the ODUs ratings: |

Pre-filter section: Pre-Filter section shall have washable (wet and dry) type pre filters 10 micron filtered down (G-4 grade). Thickness of the filters selected shall have max dust holding capacity (min 50 mm). The filters shall be fitted on rigid frame and shall have fasteners for frequent removing and re-fixing of the filters. The quantity of fasteners shall be selected to ensure proper sealing with frame and gasket of filter.Fan Section: The fan section shall comprise non-spark proof direct driven plug fans mounted on seperate base frame, slide rail, fan driven bymotor (IE-3) & blower protection with perforated GI screen (Full door size). Anti Vibration spring type isolators for Blower shall be considered. Motor selected shall be compatible with VFD operation.The Fan Section to be provided with Marine light fixtures andLimit switch which shall be internally cabled, terminating in a switch on the AHU casing. (Electrical Contractor shall terminate the power supply to this point), Fire proof double canvas connections (Fungal Resistant and Lint free) to be used to connect the fan to the AHU Casing. Service door provided for blower section shall have integrated view panel. Plug fans shall be selected for best efficiency point and duty point shall be in center of fan operating range. The efficeincy of fan shall be morethan 70 %. Noise Level at free discharge at 1m: should not exceed 60 dBa.Coil Section:Copper tubes and Aluminium fins 11-12 fin./inch, Coil size shall be selected for air velocity of 500 ft/minute & velocity across filters at 500 ft/minute. Fine Filter section: Filter section with fine filters 5 micron (F-7 grade). Thickness of the filters selected shall have max dust holding capacity min 150mm. The filters shall be fitted on rigid frame and shall have fasteners for frequent removing and re-fixing of the filters. The quantity of fasteners shall be selected to ensure proper sealing with frame and gasket of filter.Plenum HEPA section: Filter shall be Flange , EU-13 / H-13 and efficiency not less than 99.97% down to 0.3 micron.Shall be pleated high efficiency micro glass fibre media mechanically pleated having aluminium separators.Plenium HEPA will be only for AHU BB 09 MATERIAL RECEIPT AREA .
