Name of work:- Raising & strengthening of Alumada to Kalabadhi Saline Embankment.

1Clearing & grubbing road land including uprooting rank vegetation, grass, bushes, shrubs, saplings and trees girth up to 300 mm on pre measurement and removal of stumps of trees cut earlier disposal of unserviceable materials to be used or auctioned up to a lead of 1000 mtr including removal and disposal of top organic soilnot exceeding 150 mm thickness with all leads, lifts and delifts with cost of all labour,T & P, hiring and running charges of all machineries, cess etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
2Earth work in excavation in all kinds of approved soil from approved borrow area by mechanical means with all leads, lifts and delifts including loading into the transportation vehicles and unloadingfrom transported vehicles and depositing the same on properly prepared and scientifically approved surface including rough dressing and breaking the clods to maximum 5cm. to 7cm. ,laying in layers not exceeding 22.50cmincluding removal of roots, shrub jungles, bushes and all foreign debries from the earth and benching the old embankment, sectioning, cambering the earth work, watering and compaction with all types of compacts equipment\"sunder OMC conditions to attain minimum proctor dry density of 95.00% for all heights of banks and slopes with required quality control test including construction , maintenance, watering, dewatering and lighting of haul roads and borrow area including mobilization and demobilization of men and machineries and all incidental charges required for the completion of work with T&P articles required for the work ,complete inall respect including cost of royaltywith labour cess as per approved drawing, specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.( Measurement shall be taken on finished compacted section .Borrow area is to be arranged by the agencyat his cost and responsibility)
3Earth work in approved type of soil in borrow area by mechanical means and loading in to transportation vehicle and transportation of earth by mechanical means and unloadingthe earth over the approved surface of the embankment in proper profiles with all leads, lifts,delifts includingrough dressing and breaking the clods in to 5 cm to 7 cm size including removal of all foreign materials, debrises, grass, bushes, vegetation\"s, shrubs, roots from transported earth including laying in layers not exceeding 22.50 cm in depth including construction and maintenance of haul road, cost of hire & running charges of all machineries, T&P, cost of fuel, lubricants, cost of labour, carriage, royalty, cess etc. all complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
4Earth work excavation of foundation, loading, unloading and carriage by mechanical means in all kinds of soil including stony earth, gravel and moorum etc. inter spread with boulders up to ½ cum. size with all lifts and delifts including trimming the slopes and bed to design section and depositing the excavated materials away from work site as per the specification and as direction by the Engineer-in-charge within an initial lead of 1 Km. from the place of excavation complete.
5Construction of granular sub-base by providing and laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates to 200 mm thickness with IRC grade - II materialsas per table-401-Ito WBM specification including spreading in uniform layers with moter grader on prepared surface mixing by mix place method with rotavate , rolling with VRR in stages toproper grade and camber, applying and brooming using stone screened dust asbinding materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregates , watering and compacting to the required density at OMC as per clause 401 of MoSRT & H specifications for road & Bridge works (5th Revision) with all leads , lifts and delifts including cost ,conveyance, royalty, cess etc. including labours and hire charges of T&P materials required for the work,hire and running charges of machineries etc. complete as per specification anddirection of the Engineer-in-Charge.
6Providing and laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates to 100 mm thickness with IRC grade - I material ( 90 mm to 45 mm) to WBM specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with 3 wheeled steel roller 8-10 tones in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming usingmoorum asbinding materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregates, watering and compacting to the required density as per clause 404 of MoSRT & H specifications for road & Bridge works (4th Revision) with all leads, lifts and delifts including cost, conveyance, royalty, cess including cost of labours,T&P materials required for the work,hire and running charges of machineries etc. complete as per specification anddirection of the Engineer-in-Charge.
7Providing and laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates to 75 mm thickness with IRC grade - II material ( 63 mm to 45 mm ) to WBM specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with 3 wheeled steel roller 8-10 tones in stages to to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming usingmoorum asbinding materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregates, watering and compacting to the required density as per clause 404 of MoSRT & H specifications for road & Bridge works (4th Revision) with all leads , lifts and delifts including cost ,conveyance, royalty, cess including cost of labours ,T&P materials required for the work,hire and running charges of machineries etc.complete as per specification anddirection of the Engineer-in-Charge.
8Quarrying,collecting, supplying and stacking of good quality of moorumandsand in regular box heap size of 1.50m X 1.50m X 0.50m to be measured as one cumand admixing moorum and sand in (60 : 40) proportion and laying in sub-base of road in layers not exceeding150 mm thick with all leads , lifts and delifts including cost, conveyance, royalty, cess, taxes of all materialsincludinghire charges of T&P materials required for the work, watering and compaction to required density in OMC condition with P.R.R., hire and running charges of machineries etc.complete as per specification anddirection of the Engineer-in-Charge.
9Quarrying, Collecting, supplying blasted hard granite stone boulder of atleast 30 cm and above size and 0.028 cum in volume from approved quarry (other thanlaterite, sand stone) dumping the stones inrip raps,spur, and slope protection works including surface packingin all heights and depths including filling the interstices with small stones ,wedgingand packing surface to proper line levels including fixing wave breakers with all cost, conveyance,labour,T and P required for the work, royalty, cess of all materials of approved qualitywith all leads, lifts, delifts including dumping in water, hire charges of boat with boatman and, lunch with driver and all other incidental charges etc. complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-charge.(Measurement to be taken in level section & 1/6th voids will be deducted from the finished level section and payment will be made to the quantity so arrived between the stack measurement and level section after deduction of 1/6th voids, which ever is less)
10Installation of Gabion boxes / mattress (in slope) (mess type 6x8, thickness 0.30m) made out of hexagonal woven wiremesh type zinc with PVC coated gabion boxes of different size such as (3m x 2.00m x 0.30m), (4.00m x 2.00m x 0.30m), (5.00m x 2.00m x 0.30m) and (6.00m x 2.00m x 0.30m) as per requirement at site filled with hard granite stones of nominal size between 0.0025cum compacting the stones inside gabion boxes with minimum voids and tying, stitching with lacing wire and heavily galvanised steel rings of 3mm dia having tensile strength of 170Kg/mm2 with a spacing of rings @200mm c/c and placing in position with help of cranes and by other mechanical means with all cost of materials, conveyance etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
11Fine dressing of earth work in slope of embankment including filling of earth of rain cuts and slopes with selected earth at contractors own cost and duly compacted and trimmed to the required profile and turfing with dub sods of rectangular shape of minimum 0.25 cm thick with cost, conveyance by mechanical means with all leads, lifts and delifts ,cess including mobilisation, demobilisation, supervision charges with cost of all other materials, approach road, diversion road, site illumination including watering the sods till survival of grasswith all cost incidental to the work etc. complete as per specifications and the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. (Measurement will be taken after survival of grass).
12Random rubble hard granite stone masonry sand grouted in foundation and plinth using hard broken granite stones having minimum dimension of 30 cm sizequarried and transportedfrom approved quarry free from weather skin surface and other deleterious materials including cost, carriage, royalty, cess with all leads, lifts, delifts etc.all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
13Supplying & spreading 20mm down graded chips satisfying filter criteria in rock toe riprap and filter drains in earth dam and dyke to proper slope and level within initial lead with cost, carriage, royalty including labour cess etc. complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
14Supplying & spreading sand of approved specification for filter in rock toe riprap and filter drains in earth dam and dyke to proper slope and level within an initial lead, cost, carriage, royalty, labour cess etc. complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
15Installation of Gabion boxes / mattress (in Toe Wall) (mess type 10x12, thickness 0.50m) made out of hexagonal woven wiremesh type zinc with PVC coated gabion boxes of different size such as (4m x 1.00m x 0.50m), (3.00m x 1.00m x 0.50m), (2.00m x 1.00m x 0.50m) as per requirement at site filled with hard granite stones of nominal size between 0.0025cum compacting the stones inside gabion boxes with minimum voids and tying, stitching with lacing wire as indicated in the technical specification and placing in position with help of cranes and by other mechanical means with all cost, of materials, conveyance etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
16Filling foundation and plinth with sand by mechanical/manual means and laying in layers duly compacted, watering including cost,T & P, carriage, royalty with all leads, lifts, delifts, cess etc all completeas per drawing and specification and as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
17Rigid & smooth centring, shuttering for CC works including false works and dismantling them after casting including proper curing with cost, T&P, carriage, cess etc. all complete as per specification and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
18Providing & laying cement concrete conforming to M-15grade in approved surface using 40 mm size and down graded black hard granite (crusher broken) chips and sharp sand of approved grading from approved quarry for CC work conforming to specification, mixing by concrete mixtureincluding hoisting and laying concrete in position, compacting with concrete vibrator with all leads, lifts, delifts for mix concrete, royalty of all materials, cess including dewatering, supplying T&P, curing for specified days by suitable means with supervision charges including mobilization and demobilization with cost of construction and dismantling of gangway and scaffolding, chute with all materials, construction of coffer dam / approach road, diversion road, site illumination, hire and running charges of machineries, dewatering by suitable means required for the work as per approved drawing and specification complete with all cost as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
19Providing & laying cement concrete conforming to M-20grade in approved surface using 20 mm size and down graded black hard granite (crusher broken) chips and sharp sand of approved grading from approved quarry for CC work conforming to specification, mixing by concrete mixtureincluding hoisting and laying concrete in position, compacting with concrete vibrator with all leads, lifts, delifts for mix concrete, royalty of all materials, cess including dewatering, supplying T&P, curing for specified days by suitable means with supervision charges including mobilization and demobilization with cost of construction and dismantling of gangway and scaffolding, chute with all materials, construction of coffer dam / approach road, diversion road, site illumination, hire and running charges of machineries, dewatering by suitable means required for the work as per approved drawing and specification complete with all cost as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Below ground level beyond 1.50m to 4.50m).
20Providing & laying cement concrete conforming to M-25grade in approved surface using 20 mm size and down graded black hard granite (crusher broken) chips and sharp sand of approved grading from approved quarry for RCC work conforming to specification, mixing by concrete mixtureincluding hoisting and laying concrete in position, compacting with concrete vibrator with all leads, lifts, delifts for mix concrete, royalty of all materials, cess including dewatering, supplying T&P, curing for specified days by suitable means with supervision charges including mobilization and demobilization with cost of construction and dismantling of gangway and scaffolding, chute with all materials, construction of coffer dam / approach road, diversion road, site illumination, hire and running charges of machineries, dewatering by suitable means required for the work as per approved drawing and specification complete with all cost as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
21Providing cast in-situ double under reamed R.C.C.pile of 375 mm dia board compaction pile driving to a depth of 6.00 mfrom the specified level made of RCC M25 grade using 20 mm downgraded size black CBHG chips including cost of boring but excluding the cost of steel and labour charges for cutting, bending and binding of steel including curing for specified period with cost,T&P, conveyance, royalty, cess etc. complete as per approved drawing and specification as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
22Providing cast in-situ dia double under reamed R.C.C.pile of 375 mm dia board compaction pile driving to a depth of 8.00 mfrom the specified level made of RCC M25 grade using 20 mm downgraded size black CBHG chips including cost of boring but excluding the cost of steel and labour charges for cutting, bending and binding of steel including curing for specified period with cost,T&P, conveyance, royalty, cess etc. complete as per approved drawing and specification as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
23Providing form work for concrete of irrigation structure with F1 finish for upstream faces of dam,spillway,glacis of barrages, unexposed surfaces of foundation, block joints etc. with steel shutters rigidly fixedand removal forms and making good to the surfaces where necessarywith all labour, material, cess and T&P etc.complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
24Supplying, straightening, cutting, bending, binding and tying the grills using uncoated HYSD bars cutting, bending of designed diameters and placing in position for fabrication and fixing the reinforcement grills including laps, ties, providing chairs and welding whenever necessarywith all leads, lifts and delifts.with all labour, T&P, cess complete including cost, conveyance of steel and binding wires complete and as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
25Provision for supplying, fitting, fixing and fabrication of screw shutter of size 1.40mx2.00m with gear box, guide channel, platform etc. complete and as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
26Filling foundation and plinth with excavated earth by mechanical/manual means and laying in layers duly compacted, watering including cost, T&P, carriage, royalty with all leads, lifts, delifts, cess all complete as per drawing and specification and as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
