( Ii ) Spot Level & Invert Levels Of Major Junction Manholes / Septic Tank Along With Existing Sewer Line Networkand Size & Any Other Nearby Structure. ( Iii ) Identification Of Problematic Junctions And Suggestion For Solutions. ( Iv ) Location Of Stp’S Counter Survey Of The Area. ( V ) Calculation Of Quantity Of Sewage Generating Based On Strength Provided By Department. Part-Ii ; ( For Design Of New Network ) ( I ) Pointing And Identification Of Pipelines Diameter.Minimum Dia Of Pipe For New Sewer Layout Must Be150mm.The Depth Of Sewer Line At Any Point Should Not Exceed 3.50Mtr Preferably. ( Ii ) Hydraulic Flow Marking Of The Sewer. ( Iii ) Hydraulic Design Along With Detailed Calculation Sheet. ( Iv ) Pipe Placement Marking And Interventions Along With Type To Be Used. Note:- ( A ) Reports To Be Vetted By Nit Jalandhar. ( B ) Design And Construction Methodology Of Brick / Rcc Manholes, Pumping Station Etc Should Be As Per Chapter 3 & 4 Of Cpheeo Manual. Part-I : (for existing sewer network) Route and allingnment survey using DGPS & Total station to capture the major features of studyarea- (i) General topography and contour survey of existing sewer network.Contour sewer should be at 0-5minterval. (ii) Spot level & invert levels of major junction manholes/septic tank along with existing sewer line networkand size & any other nearby structure. (iii) Identification of problematic junctions and suggestion for solutions. (iv) Location of STP’s counter survey of the area. (v)Calculation of quantity of sewage generating based on strength provided by department. Part-II ; (For design of new network) (i) Pointing and Identification of pipelines diameter.Minimum dia of pipe for new sewer layout must be150mm.The depth of sewer line at any point should not exceed 3.50mtr preferably. (ii) Hydraulic flow marking of the sewer. (iii) Hydraulic design along with detailed calculation sheet. (iv) Pipe placement marking and interventions along with type to be used. Note:- (a) Reports to be vetted by NIT Jalandhar. (b) Design and construction methodology of brick/RCC manholes, pumping station etc should be as per chapter 3 & 4 of CPHEEO Manual. (c) Min slope of sewer must comply with table 3.13 of CPHEEO manual & design should be based on non-setting, non-scouring velocity.
