To perform such services and execute such work upon the terms and conditions contained or referred to in the aforesaid documents and upon the condition hereinafter contained as may be demanded and as are enumerated in the aforesaid MES Schedule during the period of one year from the date of acceptance subject to condition 56 of IAFW-2249 at the rate contained in the aforesaid MES schedule or at such rates as may be fixed under the provision of condition 62 and further agree to refer all disputes as required by condition 70 of IAFW-2249 to the arbitration of an serving officer having degree in Engineering or equivalent or having passed appointed by the Chief Engineer (AF) Shillong Zone, Shillong, or in his absence the officer officiating asChief Engineer (AF) Shillong Zone, Shillong, or Senior Surveyor of works if specifically delegated in writing by Chief Engineer ((AF) Shillong Zone, Shillong, whosedecision shall be final, conclusive and binding.Notes:-(i) The Bidder have to select the option \"Excess (+)\" OR \"Less (-)\" available at the cell address E4 of the BOQ to quote the percentage above or below MES Standard Schedule of Rates 2020 respectively.(ii) The Bidder have to insert the amount at the cell address F4 of the BOQ to quote the percentage above or below MES Standard Schedule of Rates 2020.Item Continues as Srl No.1.10

(iii) Amount inserted by the MES under rate column and the total amount reflected in this page is a rough guidance and for reference only.Similarly the quoted amount worked out based on percentage rate quoted by the Bidder shall also be treated as rough and for reference only.The acceptance of contract offer shall be done for quoted percentage rate on MES SSR 2020.The work order for various works/services shall be placed for amount worked out/price on the rates contained in MES SSR 2020 Part-II duly adjusted by percentage rate quoted by the Bidder.(iv) Total estimate of any single work, job or services as defined in condition 4A of IAFW-2249 shall not exceed ` 1,50,000.00.(v) Contractor special attention is invited to condition 4(A) WORKS TO BE CARRIED OUT (APPLICABLE ONLY TO TERM CONTRACTS) and condition 56 TERMINATION OF CONTRACTS (APPLICABLE ONLY TO TERM CONTRACTS) of IAFW-2249 General Conditions of Contracts are strictly to be followed.(vi) It is an express condition of this contract that the amount to total works/services required to be done under this contract can vary to any extent irrespective of the amount worked out/mentioned in this BOQ sheet and contractor shall be bound to execute such works/services at the rates contained in MES SSR 2020 Part-II duly adjusted by quoted percentage rate during contract period.No claim of the contractor shall be entertained due to increase or decrease in quantum of work required to be done/work done.
