| 1 | The following works shall be executed for the roof work of the Irattayappan Peruvanam Siva temple roof. It is a living monument. Time period generally allowed for the conservation work is 10.30 AM to 04.30 PM after observing the ritual pooja. So it is a slow nature for the temple architectural structural work of Kerala. The good quality materials should be used as per ISI specification and the sample materials will get it approved from ASI before supply of full quantity/execution and the entire work will be carried out as per instructions of work in-charge. Linear measurement is taken for laying copper sheet tile work. The copper sheet has to cut into tiles format as per the drawings attached. Bidder has to see the work spot and sample tile kept at site before quoting the rate. |
| 2 | Supply, cutting, bending and making copper sheet tiles of 22 gauge not less than 6.30 kg/m2, to cover the wooden roof of the Siva temple Irattayappan by fixing copper sheet tiles (flat size; 41 cm x 36 cm) clamping, adjoining tiles (two numbers front side bend; other two back side), nailing with copper nails of size 3 cm including Thazhika Kudam, roof bottom eve board, copper shoe for the extended part of the rafter, complete as per the old pattern, design, moulding including cost of all materials required for work, transportation, conveyance, making, laying and fixing, tools charges and labour charges etc. complete. Approved bidder has to supply the copper sheet at site and on approval only; bidder is permitted to make the copper sheet tile at Peruvanam site. Bidder is not at all permitted to bring the copper sheet tiles directly to site. Copper sheet shall be confirmed to IS 14811:2000 (Reaffirmed 2021). Finished copper sheet shall have bright, clean and free from black oxide, scratches, porosity, burrs or other harmful defects. Approved bidder has to submit the copy of the test report of (a) Chemical analysis/mechanical analysis, (b) tensile test and (c) hardness test or bend test along with sample for approval. |
