Supplying, installation, testing & commissioning of 33 KV, 630 Amps, 25kA for 3 sec Outdoor extensible on one side 3-way SF6 gas insulated floor mounted with copper bus bar (APDCL APPROVED) Ring Main Unit should consist of 01 (One) Nos incoming Motorized Vacuum Circuit Breaker and 02 (Two) Outgoing Motorized Vacuum Circuit Breaker with Battery & Battery Charger. The coupling should be at the top of RMU through sleeved busbars covered with touch proof joints and bolted connections (plug in connections are not feasible due to outdoor requirements and foundation tolerances). All live parts, bus bars, VCB, Earthing Switches will be enclosed in robotically welded with minimum of 2.5 mm thick Stainless-steel tank, 2mm GI enclosure (CRCA not feasible looking into corrosion proof requirements) filled with SF6 at 1.4 bar with IP class IP67, leak rate less than 0.1% and tested as per latest IEC 62271-200. HT Panel shall be with fixed type VCB for 33KV earth system, 50Hz, AC three phase including over current and earth fault protection and motor operated spring charging mechanism for VCB panel. While refilling the SF6 gas the manometer should be able to show the pressure inside the Stainless-Steel tank with a dedicated gas topping up arrangement on the LV panel. The switchgear should be tested for Internal arc for both tank and cable box IAC AFLR (25kA-1 Sec) venting through bottom. The switchgear should be totally enclosed confirming to relevant IEC standard with fitting of protection relay with indicators as under:

A)Each VCB - 03 No consisting of following:a) Motor operated 630 A Vacuum circuit breaker having two position spring mechanism. Motor control voltage 24 V DCb) Three position disconnector/earthing switch downstream vacuum circuit-breakerc) Anti-reflex operating handle d) Capacitive voltage indication fixed type VPIS 36 kVe) Emergency Trip push button to operated VCB f) 3O/C + 1E/F self-powered numerical protection relay with Low and High set for Over current and Earth Fault. Relay should have facility to display the maximum loaded phase current also. Relay shall record minimum 5 fault records with time stamping g) Ring core current transformer of 100-50/1A, 2.5 VA, 5P10 for protection - 3 Nosh) Mechanical ON/OFF/EARTH indication. i) Cable boxes suitable for 1 X 3C x 300 sq mm XLPE Cable with right angle Touch proof Cable Termination kitsj) Cable boxes should be 25kA for 1sec (Tank and cable box) Internal Arc Proof with all safety interlocking.

B)Common Technical specifications of each Ring Main Unit should consist of –a) Nominal System Voltage: 33kVb) Voltage variation on supply side: +/-10 %c) Corresponding Highest System Voltage: 36kV.d) Frequency: 50 Hz with +/-3 % tolerancee) Transient condition: -20 % or + 10 % combined variation of Voltage and frequency.f) Number of Phase: 3 Phases. g) The RMU shall be true outdoor design without external separate enclosure or kiosk with IP54 protectionh) Neutral earthling: Solidly earthed.i) Fault level (minimum) kA /Sec: 25kA for 3sec.j) Lightning Impulse Withstand Voltage (kVp): 170k) One minute dry/wet power frequency withstand voltage primary (kV rms): 70l) Rated Dynamic Withstand Current for 1 second duration (kAp): 62.5m) Battery charger of 5 A and 2 sets of 12V DC, 7 AH Batteriesn) The complete Ring Main Unit shall be manufactured in India including complete SF6 insulated tank welding and assembly.o) Common handle for isolator and VCB operation.p) The coupling busbars shall be Touchproof copper busbars.
