Name of Work: Comprehensive Conservation Works to the Protected Monument, Vettimuricha Kotta and Ancillary Structures in Thiruvananthapuram District, 2023-24
Sl. No. Item Description
1Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side, upto seven story hight made with 40 mm dia. M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joining with cup & lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S. clamps and M.S. staricase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it there after. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the building etc wherever required for inspection of work at required location with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and approval of Engineer- in Charge. The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose. The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding. Note:- This item to be used for maintenance work judicially, necessary deduction for scaffolding in the existing item to be done.
2Hire and labour charges for providing and putting up view cutter with green shade net covering the scaffolding which is already provided as per the direction of engineer-in-charge.
3Dismantling old plaster or skirting raking out joints and cleaning the surface for plaster including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 metres lead.
4Lime concrete1:2:4 (1 hydraulic lime: 2 river sand : 4 20 mm graded stone) etc. complete, as per the direction of engineer in charge.
5Flooring with terra cotta floor tile of size 225 x 225 mm or nearest available sizelaid on lime mortar 1:2 (1 Lime : 2 river sand) laid over 20 mm thick, with 6 mm open joints, grouted and pointed with cement mortar 1:2 (1 cement : 2 fine sand) etc. complete, as per the direction of engineer in charge.
6Plastering with lime mortar 1:2 (1 lime : 2 river sand) 12 mm thick adding sufficient quantity of vegetative ingredients, palmjaggeri, aloevera etc. complete, as per the direction of the officer-in-charge.
7Lime punningwith lime mortar 1:1 (1 lime : 1 river sand) 3 mm thick adding sufficient quantity of vegetative ingredients, palmjaggeri etc. as per the direction of the officer-in-charge.
8Moulding and recasting the damaged / worn out cornices, beadings and artistic designs etc. around the towers and arches at various elevations, with lime mortar 1:2 (1 lime : 2 river sand) up to 75 mm wide 30 mm average thick etc. complete, as per the direction of engineer-in-charge.
9Colour washing terracotta colour to give an even shade (two or more coats) with a base coat of one coat white washing etc. complete, as per the direction of engineer in charge.
10Providing white lining (Brick bond line) to the painted surface of external wall with exterior water proofing paint etc complete as per the direction of engineer in charge.
11White washing with lime to give an even shade : Old work (two or more coats).
12Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade two or more coats.
13Demolishing brick work in lime mortar manually including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
14Brick work with common burnt clay F.P.S. (non-modular) bricks of class designation 7.5 in foundation and plinth in lime mortar 1:2 (1 lime : 2 river sand) as per direction of departmental officer at site.
15Brick work with common buntclay F.P.S.(non-modular) bricks of class designation 7.5 in super structureabove plinth levelup to floor five levelin all shapes and size ion lime mortar 1:2 (1 lime : 2 river sand) as per direction of departmental officers at site.
16Disposal ofbuilding rubbish / malba / similar unserviceable, dismantled or materials already stacked by mechanical means, including loading, transporting, unloadingto approved dumpingground or as approved by officer-in-charge up to a distance of 20 KM.
17Taking out existing CC interlocking paver blocks from footpath/ central verge, including removal of rubbish etc., disposal of unserviceable material to the dumping ground, for which payment shall be made separately and stacking of serviceable material within 50 metre lead as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
18Laying old cement concrete interlocking paver blocks of any design/ shape laid in required line, level, curvature, colour and pattern over and including 50 mm thick compacted bed of coarse sand, filling the joints with fine sand etc. all complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. (Old CC paver blocks shall be supplied by the department free of cost.)
19Providing and laying factory made chamfered edge 60mm thick cement concrete paver block of M-35 grade with approved colour, design & pattern in footpath, parks, lawns, drive ways or light traffic parking etc, of required strength, thickness & size/ shape, made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour & pattern over 50mm thick compacted bed of sand, compacting and proper embedding/ laying of inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with sand and cutting of paver blocks as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand. complete all as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
20Repairs to plaster of thickness 12 mm to 20 mm in patches of area 2.5 sq meters and under, including cutting the patch in proper shape, raking out joints and preparing and plastering the surface of the walls complete, including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 meters lead: Cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement: 4 coarse sand).
21Providing and fixing of 60 cm x 45 cm rectangular retro-reflectorised cautionary, mandatory and informatory sign with 7 years warranty manufactured as per IRC :67 made of Type IV micro prismatic grade sheeting vide clause 801.3.3 fixed over aluminium sheeting, 2 mm thick/ aluminium composit material sheeting 4 mm thick with suitable back supporting frame of MS angle 25x25x3 and supported on GI pipe pole 50mm NB confirming to IS 1239 firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M 15 grade cement concrete min size 45 cm x 45 cm x 60 cm, 60 cm below ground level including painting all exposed surface with 2 coats of epoxy painting over epoxy primer and as per approved drawing and clause 801 including lettering symbols etc.
22Removing and refixing door shutters after necessary repairs for easy opening and closing etc complete as per the direction of site Engineer-in-charge.
