| 59 | General Note for Item Nos 42.00 & 43.00 : Subject job of Overhauling/Repair of RMU & VCB units shall comprise of the following essential / necessary services / jobs : (i) SF 6 gas pressure level to be checked.(ii) SF 6 gas filling to be carried out when the gas pressure is low. (iii) All the connected meters to be checked and calibrated if required. (iv) Checking of control wiring, Push buttons, Indication lamps, tripping coil, tightening and any other related defects to be rectified/replaced in the event of non-functioning/working.(v)Checking and calibration of connected relays.(vi) Cost of additional hardware like bolts, nuts, washers, spring washers etc. to put the RMU/VCB in 100% serviceable condition is deemed to be included in the rates quoted.(vii) The complete job of overhauling/servicing of the RMU/VCB Units is to be got done from the OEM/Sister concern/Auth channel partner only & in the presence of rep of Engineer-in-Charge.(viii) All works shall be carried out with the help of pre-planned programs so that shutdowns can be given in a systematic manner. The pre-planned program shall be submitted by the contractor in consultation with the Engineer-in-Charge. Contractor shall not be able to claim any compensation if a scheduled shut down could not be given on dates planned for.(ix) Test certificate in Original duly signed by the Reps of OEM/Contractor & MES after repair/overhauling is to be submitted by the contractor. |
