( Excluding Wheel, Axle, Bull Gear, Axle Box Assembly With Roller Bearing, Msu & Batteries ) . Special Condition :- 1 ) . Purchaser Is Requested To Inspect The Condemned Loco As Well As Its Actual Location Before Bidding And Should Satisfy Himself About The Condition And Content Of The Materials As It Is Sold On As Is Where Is Basis. No Complaints / Claims By The Purchaser Will Be Entertained In This Regard After The E-Auction Sale. For Inspection Of Condemned Loco An Advance Programme May Be Prepared In Consultation With Custodian. Necessary Co-Operation Will Be Provided By Custodian. 2 ) . Cutting / Dismantling Of Materials ( Except Excluded Items ) Are Allowed / Permitted For Loading And Delivery Purposes. 3 ) . Before Cutting / Dismantling Of Loco, Presence Of Lube Oil Should Be Inspected By The Custodian And Purchaser. The Inspected Lube Oil Should Be Drained And Collected Safely By The Purchaser At His Own Cost And The Same Should Be Handed Over To The Custodian Required Steel Barrels Will Be Arranged By Custodian. All Safety Measures Should Be Taken By The Purchaser And Custodian Should Ensure The Same. 4 ) . The Custodian In Consultation With His / Her Higher Officials Should Allot And Ensure The Cutting Yard / Line / Area Designated For Dismantling / Cutting Down Of Sold Loco Is At Proper Location Satisfying All Safety Concerns Involved And There Is No Disruption In The Railway Operations Due To The Designated Area / Line Allotted For Placing The Sold Loco For Dismantling / Cutting. 5 ) . The Purchaser Has To Make His Own Arrangements Such As Tools, Lifting Tackles / Vehicle, And Necessary Trained Men For Cutting And Dismantling The Components Of The Condemned Loco As Per Requirements. 6 ) . The Purchaser Is Required To Stack All The Reclaimable / Excluded Items At A Designated Location As Specified By The Custodian, Well Away From The Cut-Up Parts Of The Locos And The Excluded Items To Be Returned To The Nominated Location Before Affecting The Final 10 Percent Delivery Of Subject Lot Scrap. 7 ) . The Purchaser Is Required To Take Adequate Safety Measures So That No Railway Property In The Near Vicinity Of The Cutting Spot Is Damaged In Any Way. The Purchaser Will Be Held Responsible For Any Damage / Fire Accident To The Railway Property Caused During Cutting Operation Or Delivery. 8 ) The Purchaser Will Be Solely Responsible For Any Loss Of Life ( Railway Employee Or Any Other Person ) Caused Due To Any Activities Involved While Dismantling / Cutting / Loading Of The Sold Loco / Loco Scrap. 9 ) It Is The Responsibility Of The Purchaser To Segregate And Remove The Unwanted And Leftover Scrap Before The Completion Of Delivery Of The Loco. Purchaser Has Also To Keep The Cutting And Loading Spot Neat And Clean, Otherwise, He May Be Penalized By The Railway. 10 ) . The Delivery Of Last 10 Percent Scrap Of Subject Lot Size Will Commence Only When All Excluded Items Arisen Out Have Been Handed Over To The Custodian. 11 ) . The Purchaser Has To Comply With All The Rules And Regulations Of The Central Pollution Control Board Prevailing / Existing In The Cutting Spot During The Cutting And Dismantling Operation Of The Condemned Loco And Handling Of Any Hazardous Materials Mentioned By The Central Pollution Control Board, India. 12 ) . The Purchaser Should Be Aware Of The Fact That Total Weight Of The Subject Lot Shown Against The Heading Total Lot-Weight In Mt I.E. 94.978 Mt ( Approx. ) In The Lot Details Page Under Ireps Portal Is Indicative And The Purchaser Should Note That The Total Lot-Weight In Mt Of The Subject Lot I.E. 94.978 Mt ( Approx. ) Is Not To Be Taken Into Consideration For Any Refund Claims / Any Other Claims Due To Short Delivery / Any Other Reasons.
