The survey data should include the location and all geographical details of various structures and other infrastructure like perimeter walls and roads, watch huts, watch towers, buildings, drains, drain outlets, electric poles, electric control panels pathways, ditches, abrupt level differences in the form of depressions or mounts, trees with numbering, horizontal and vertical fences, and other relevant structures/features. ii) The area should be divided into sectors as per the directions of engineer in charge and drawings should be prepared sector wise to enable calculation of cut and fill quantities for each sector and lead chart using the appropriate software iii)Submission of 3 (three) sets of Topographic plan and contour map in size not less than A0, with all spot levels in the scale of 1:1000 showing all topographic features along with the original data (soft copy- CAD and GPS data file in compact disc). iv) The data collected by surveying should be used for calculation of wall to wall grading quantities as per the slope specified in CAR /ICAO specifications for aerodromes. The sector wise cut and fill quantities should be arrived and lead charts should be prepared for carriage as per direction of Engineer in charge Note: (1) Surveyors having adequate practical knowledge and experienced in survey works with advanced equipment along with experience in handling RT communication are to be deployed (Diploma/ITI/Certificate holders in Surveying with minimum three years of experience in similar works). Men and equipment required are to be arranged by the contractor at his own cost. Note: (2) The contractors shall include the cost towards de-mobilization of equipment and men. Note (3) The contractor shall include the cost towards clearing of bushes/ vegetation/cutting and removing branches of trees and removal of the same (if required), in his quoted rates. Note (4) The contractor shall include the cost towards construction of permanent benchmark-6 nos. of dimension 500mm x 500mm x 1500mm in RCC 1:1.5:3 and coper plate with engravings of R.L. and Coordinates. Note (5) The contractor shall include the cost towards construction of temporary benchmark, in cut hard stone/ RCC pillars, of dimension 150mm x 150mm x 1200mm at 300m spacing along the length of traverse and at closer intervals on curves and slopes, and slopes, the cost of wooden fencing as directed by Engineer-in- Charge. - (Minimum 30 Nos.) Note:(6) The survey data for paved area such as Runway, Taxiway, Apron & perimeter road need to be taken separately in a grid decided in such a way to include the edges of area and centerlines. The area should be divided into sectors as per the directions of engineer in charge and drawings should be prepared sector wise to enable calculation of slope of surface and capture undulations if any. The data taken shall accordingly be used for computation of slope profile of paved surfaces. |
