| 8 | REINFORCEMENT STEEL: Supplying and Fabricating and Fixing in position HYSD Steel Reinforcements/ TMT Grade Fe-415/Fe 500D conforming to IS1786-2008 at all levels and positions including the Cost of transportation, Straightening, Cutting, Bending, Cranking, Binding, Welding, Provision of necessary Chairs and Spacers, Preparation of bar bending schedule, getting the same approved by EIC etc., complete as per Drawings and Specifications and including Cost of binding wire, Labour etc., all complete in all respects as per scope of work, detailed construction drawings, technical specifications and direction of Engineer-in-charge. The Chairs and Spacer Bars provided will not be measured for payment.1. Rate to include cost of all labour, tools, tackles, equipment, hire charges, supply of all materials such as Foundation bolts of scrubber, steel Reinforcement, binding wire and other minor construction materials, testing etc. all bye works and sundry works.2. Chairs, Laps, Spacers, Wastage etc. shall be to contractor\"s account.3. To be read in conjunction with Particular Job Specification. |
| 9 | SUPPLY AND APPLICATION OF PAINT ON PIPING AND STRUCTURE.: with one coat Chloro HB Zinc Phosphate DFT 50 micron and two finish coat with synthetic enamel DFT 60 micron each for above ground terminal piping, vessels, valves, structural steel pipe supports, walk ways, platforms, railings, fire water line etc. other equipment and as per various terms, specifications and conditions of the contract, after surface preparation after removal of loose paint / rust material if any with wire brush, emery paper, cleaning with lint free cloth including supply of all necessary paint materials, consumables, brushes, emery paper, tools, tackles, test & measuring instruments and related calibration accessories, support for carrying out the cleaning & painting work as per scope, specifications & special conditions of the contract . The item includes complete cost of paint removal (wherever required) surface preparation, repainting including material (paint, primer etc.), labour, transportation, and re-lettering/Marking on the pipelines/Structures as per the drawings issued and to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. |

| 11 | DEMOLITION OF R.C.C./BRICKS/STONE MASONRY: Site clearance by demolition of R.C.C./Brickwork/Stone Masonry/Stone Soling, Flexible pavements etc. along with removing the debris and disposal of unserviceable material to any lead and staking of serviceable materials, handing over serviceable material to concerned department if requiredas per technical specifications and direction of Engineer-in-charge.Note:1. | 12 | MODIFICATION WORK AT GAS TERMINALS: Modification work at Phulpur and Kanpur terminals for above ground piping including transportation of bare pipe and pipe fittings/Valves from GAIL designated store/ Gail maintenance base to site at start of the job and shifting of left out material to GAIL designated store/ Gail maintenance base after completion of the job as per NOTE 1 & 2, cutting of existing piping, valves, flanges, joints, fittings, grinding, bevelling,welding as per API/ASME standards, NDT, Hydrotesting, de-watering, drying, nitrogen purging (quantity of the nitrogen required will be paid extra as per SOR item 12.0 as applicable) charging with gas and commissioning of the modified section as per scope of work and direction of Engineer-in-charge. (The rate shall be per inch nominal Dia. Of the pipeline fittings/valves/flanges/piping). Pipe for header shall be provided by GAIL However contractor has to manufacture the header and supply all other material/fittings required to manufacture the header. After completion of the job header shall be GAIL’s property and shall be kept under GAIL custody. (Inch Dia. welding of the pipeline fittings/valves/flanges/piping including header welding with pipe and end cap welding of header shall be paid as per item 11.1 or 11.2 as applicable). ( Quantity of line pipe, pipe fittings other than header fittings required for the job will be supplied by GAIL) (All tools tackles, hydra/crane required for dismantling of old scrubber and installation of new scrubber, machinery etc. is in the scope of contractor)Note:1. Transportation of scrubber/line pipe (length 3 mtrs to 12 meters) shall be paid under SOR item 13.0 OR 14.0 as per actual.2. For transportation of pipe fittings/valves/pipe piece less than 3 mtrs. Etc. while mobilising and de-mobilising at site, no payment shall be made for weight upto 200 kg for 50 kms. ( 50 kms on each side i.e. while mobilising at start of job and demobilising after completion of the job).3. Upto total 200 kg of weight for pipe fittings/valves/pipe piece less than 3 mtrs. Etc. whilemobilising and de-mobilising at site beyond 50 kms (excluding initial 50 kms) shall be paid as per SOR item 14.0.4. For total weight more than 200 kg weight for total pipe fitting/valves/pipe piece less than 3 mtrs. Shall be paid as per SOR item 14.0 for both while mobilising and de-mobilising. |
