| 1 | Material and labour for cleaning of following RCC tank/masonary sumps/water reservoirs, through 7 stages of cleaning and sterilization consisting of three stages of bacteriological screening done by Terbac-G10, Terbac-G5, Terbac-G65 and Ultra Violet ray process complete all as specified and as directed for the following :- Note 1 for cleaning stages:-(a) First stage is to drain out the water by using exit valve or our own high capacity dewatering system.(b) Second stage is cleaning all the algae formation inside the tank by using TERBAC G10 , a laboratory tested branded chemical of the company and scrubbing the walls of the tanks.(c) Third stage is fresh water cleaning by high speed jet pumpwith pressure 5 PSI.(d) Fourth stage and first bacteria screening is Sterilization by using TERBAC-G5 aLaboratory certified branded halogen compound.Test certificate of TERBAC-G5 from government laboratory mentioningsuitability for sterilization should be submitted to the office before using for sterilization.(e)Fifth stage is cleaning the floor of the water tank byheavy duty industrial vacuum cleaner.(f) Sixth stage is the second bacteria screening and sterilizing method by using ultra violet ray Ejector covering 360 degree with in the tank and kills all suspended bacteria.(g) Seventh Stage of cleaning and third bacteria screening is to sterilize the floor of the water tank by using laboratory certified branded strong oxidizing agent TERBAC- G65.Test certificate of Terbac- G65 From Government Laboratory mentioningsuitability for sterilization should be submitted to the office before using for Sterilization.Note 2: Cleaning shall be done at-least two times at an interval of six months or at an early period if directed by Engineer-in-Charge.Note 3: (a) Entire T&P shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost. MES only supply electric and water with stipulated rate, if contractor demanded.(b) Company will submit Govt. laboratory test certificate of TERBAC-G5, TERBAC-G65, fix the stricker mentioning the date of cleaning & name of site and also provide certificate conforming the completion of sterilization of water tanks mentioning the name of station and date of cleaning. All the cleaning & sterilization staffs should be under accidental insurance coverage. |

| 8 | Supply of calcium based granular disinfectant (Calcium Hypo Chlorite) consisting 65%-70% Chlorine Content for Water Treatment Packed in 45 Kg Drum factory sealed delivered at store yard of E/M Office, Laitkor Peak Shillong.Make:- Any brand approved by E-in-C\"s or any other brand whose product fulfills the parameters specified in Manual on Water Supply and treatment (Third Edition May 1999) issued by CPHEEO,Ministry of Urban Dovelopment, New Delhi.Note :- The brand must contain corrosion inhibitor & Anti Scalling agent to prevent damage of distribution pipelines & accessories. |
