49For highly corroded areas on roof (as specified by owner) surface preparation is to be done by wet abrasive sand blasting (Water ringblasting) @ 100 psi minimum to remove old paint, to get a surface tonear white metal, making anchoring profile Appropriate equipment such aswater ring blasters, etc shall be used. The detailed description of the equipment to be submitted along with the tender. Continuous flow ofwater is to be ensured as the work is to be carried out in an operatingtank.Surface preparation shall confirm to NACE std. NACE No.2/SSPCSP-10. All safety precautions like mud plugging of any gap between primary / secondary seal & tank shell, covering of all the direct opening with asbestos cloth, checking of vapour concentration etc. shall becarried out by contractor
50Surface preparation of Roof & Shell: Area includes complete roof, wind girder with handrails/supports, shell,primary wind girder and 1.8 m from top of shell inside, sprinkler rings, Tank shell,secondary wind girder, shell nozzles, etc. The scope of work of the contractor includes supply of paint, tools & tackcles,laburs, all equipments etc. Surface preparation using using hand tool cleaning including removal of oil, grease and other contaminants by solvent cleaning followed by removal of defective paint, loose mill scale, loose rust, loose paint, weld flux, slag from the metallic surfaces, by hand chipping, hand brushing, hand scrappers / chisels, steel wools, final cleaning with High pressure ( 10000 PSI ) low TDS fresh soft water jet cleaning including water supply and drying with compressed air as per the specifications and directions of Site Engineer. Prepared surface shall conform to WJ-4 as per NACE no.5/SSPC SP-12 standards.
51Painting of roof upper deck with associated appurtenances, shell and wind girders: One coat of inorganic zinc silicate primer to a dry film thickness of minimum 60-75Microns by airless spray application followed by intermediate coat (1 coat x 250µm per coat or 2 coats x 125µm per coat of Surface tolerant epoxy) and top coat (50µm DFT of Aliphatic polyurethane) by airless spray application, sealer coat on primed surface by airless spray, stripe coat of surface tolerant epoxy on all weld joints/ projections by brush including supply of all requisite resources (paints, equipments, tools, tackles, manpower, consumables, non-consumables etc.) to complete the work in all respects as per specifications and directions of the EIC/ Site Engineer. The total DFT shall be minimum 360 microns.
52"Painting : Supply and application of paint on roof, shell, structure primary wind girder and 1.8 m from top of shell inside, sprinkler rings, Tank shell,secondary wind girder, shell nozzles etc.The scope of work of the contractor includes supply of paint, tools & tackles,labours,all equipments etc.Painting system shall be as follows: FIRST COAT: surface tolerant epoxy primer (greater than 80% solid by vol.) minimum 125 micron per coat x 2 coats & 2nd coat: acrylic iso cyanate aliphatic Polyurethane coat (55% min. solid byvol.) with coat 50 microns DFT (min) by airless spray application (Gloss retention minimum 80 % under 1000 hours of QUV A. Colourwill be as per SIC/EIC instructions.Supply and fitting of double steel scaffoldings or Manlift (separate SOR item) in line with tender and safety clauses.
53Water for Hydrotesting:Arrangement of potable water and transporting the sameas directed by EIC/ Site Engineer including supply ofmaterial, consumables, manpower, tools, tackles etc. complete on roundthe clock basis through tankers etc.

104Carrying out LRUT (Long Range Ultrasonic Testing )/Guided WaveTesting(GWT) survey of station pipings at inaccessible locations formonitoring corrosion or metal loss with proper coding system touniquely identify the location, marking the location at site near to theinspected area and submission of detailed isometric drawings and reportin soft copy and hard copy inclusive of supply of manpower, tools,tackles, consumables as per the direction of Site Engineer/EIC. One dayis kept for mainline. In station, minimum average speed of 8 points perday is to be maintaned (if average locations surveyed is less than 8numbers, payment will be made on fraction basis considering average 8points/day as 100%).

This alsoincluding cleaning of oil water marks so caused on tank deck, if any,cleaning inside of the pontoon boxes by use of cotton rags and spreading of sand, sprinkling of DCP powder, cleaning and making ready for maintenance work of the tank inclusive of supply of all labours, tools,tackles, consumables etc and as per directions of Site Engineer / EIC.DCP powder will be owner supply.
107Cleaning and Sweeping of Lawn/ Garden area and keep it neat & clean by mechanized method/ manually, removimg litter, debris, picking of leaves, papers, plastic bottles etc. including disposal of collected waste in dustbin/ designated place, as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. [Note: All T&P, materials/ articles shall be provided by the Contractor]
108Cleaning of circumferencial, radial and strome drains inside and outside tank dyke as per instruction of EIC / Site engineer including supply of all labours, tools, tackles, and transporting the sand, mud, grit, wastages, extra crude to specified location inside our premises

112Residual crude oil transfer to other tank:- Installation of (steel/ flexible) piping (approx. 300 m), provision of suitable pump(s), installation, connecting and pumping of residual crude oil/ crude-water mix in the tank (approx. 5000 KLs) from all the water/ product draw offs to the nearest crude oil storage tank as per instructions of EIC/ Site Engineer along with required manpower, tools, tackles, equipments, consumables, non-consumables etc. to complete the work in all respects.
