1Excavation for roadwork in soil with hydraulic excavator of 0.9 cum bucket capacity including cutting and loading in tippers, trimming bottom and side slopes, in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross sections, and transporting to the embankment location within all lifts and lead upto 1000m as per Clause 301 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). (Mode of measurement: pre works and post works).
2Compacting original ground supporting subgrade Loosening of the ground upto a level of 150 mm. below the subgrade level, watered, graded and compacted in layers to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 for subgrade construction as per Clause 305.3.4 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision).
3Supplying, spreading and compacting Fine Yellow Sand to required thickness, in layers not exceeding 150 mm to proper gradient and camber, inundating each layer by water and packing and ramming layer by layer to achieve desired compaction, including lighting, guarding, barricading and making adequate earthen bundh where necessary, curing with water as per direction, mending cracks and depressions by ramming wherever necessary. Compacted thickness 500 mm.
4Supplying, spreading and consolidating Stone Dust to a depth of 100 mm. and above at desired density and C.B.R. as per Specification with power roller to proper gradient and camber including watering as necessary, and lighting, guarding, barricading and making adequate earthen bundh where necessary to protect the edges and curing with water for 2 to 3 days, mending cracks and depressions by rolling where necessary including all incidental charges of roller, cost of fuel & lubricants complete as per specification. For compacted thickness 260 mm.
5Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to Wet Mix Macadam specification including screening of aggregates and granular materials, premixing the material with water at OMC in Wet Mix Plant, carriage of mixed material by tipper tosite, laying in uniform layers with Paver in Sub- base / Base course on well prepared surface and compacting with Vibratory Roller to achieve the desired density, including supply of all materials, machinery, fuel and lubricants, including incidental costs for lighting, guarding, barricading, making earthen bundh to protect the edges including cost of quality control complete as per Clause 406 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision).
6Providing and applying primer coat with Cationic Bitumen Emulsion of approved grade conforming to IS: 8887-1978 and requisite quantity on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer using Mechanical means including cost and carriage of bitumen emulsion and all other incidental costs of work complete as per Clause 502 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). (i) For WBM / WMM Surface: (with primer @ 0.70-1.0 kg/sqm)
7Providing and applying tack coat with Cationic Bitumen Emulsion of approved grade conforming to IS: 8887-1978 on the prepared surface cleaned with Hydraulic broom, moistening the surface including cost and carriage of emulsion, hire charges of machinery and labour, cost of fuel and lubricants all complete as per Clause 503 ofpecifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). (i) On Bituminous Surface. (Using Bitumen Emulsion at the rate of 0.20 to 0.30 kg per sqm.)
8Providing and laying bituminous macadam with Hot Mix Plant using approved crushed aggregates of specified grading as per Table 500.4 premixed with bituminous binder, transported to site laid over a previously prepared surface at specified laying temperature with paver finisher to the required grade, level and alignment and rolled with suitable power roller for break down, inter-mediate and finished rolling as per specification to achieve the desired - compaction including cost and carriage of stone materials and bitumen, hire charges of machinery and equipment, cost of fuel and lubricants and wages of operational staff, quality control complete as per Clause 504 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). For Grading II (19 mm nominal size, 50 mm thick.) (iii) Using Drum mix Type HMP of minimum capacity 40-60 TPH. Compacted thickness 60 mm.
9Providing & laying Semi-dense Bituminous Concrete (SDBC) as wearing coarse by Hot Mix Plant, using coarse aggregates, fine aggregates, filler materials and binder ofrequired specification and grading as per approved job mix formula, over thoroughly cleaned surface coated with tack coat, including screening, cleaning of aggregates, mixing the components as per approved Job Mix Formula with hot binder, carrying the mixture by tipper truck or any other approved suitable arrangements, laying the mixtureuniformly, maintaining the specified laying temperature, thorough rolling with power roller with necessary hand packing and pinning to give an uniform surface to achieve the desired density of at least 98% of that of Laboratory Marshall specimen, including the cost and carriage of aggregates, filler and binder, heating the binder, preheating the aggregates, and filler to the specified temperature, including the hire charges of Hot Mix Plant and other machineries, pay of operators, cost of fuel and lubricants and all other incidental charges complete. B. For Grading 2 (10 mm nominal size, 25 mm thick.) (iii) Using Drum mix Type HMP of minimum capacity 40-60 TPH. [Rate is inclusive of cost of One layer of Tack Coat]
10Providing and laying special type of Median kerb with M-25 Ready Mixed Concrete with size of 450 mm.(H) x 300 mm.(L) x 150 mm. (thick) including necessary earthwork and also bed will be finished with 50 mm. ordinary concrete (1:2:4) & filling joint with sand cement mortar (4:1) with 10 mm. thick and as per drawing all complete. (i)Foot-pathKerb.
11Providing and laying special type of Median kerb with M-25 Ready Mixed Concrete with size of 550 mm.(H) x 300 mm.(L) x 150 mm. (thick) including necessary earthwork and also bed will be finished with 50 mm. ordinary concrete (1:2:4) & filling joint with sand cement mortar (4:1) with 10 mm. thick and as per drawing all complete. (i)MedianKerb.
12Providing and laying Pre-cast cement concrete road channel of size 200 x 200 x 100 of concrete M-25 Grade without reinforcement, setting in position at size after preparing the bed and sloper by 50 mm. stone dust as per specification & direction of EIC including filling of joints with 10 mm. thick cement mortar (1:4) and curing the mortar joints for at least 3 days including cost & carriage of all materials complete.
13Removal ofearth from the working site and disposal of the same beyond the compound , in conformity with the Municipal / Corporation rules for such disposal , loading into truck and cleaning the site in all respect as per direction of Engineer in charge.
14Picking up and removing old bituminous layer or sand sealing coat from old black topped surface and cleaning the exposed surface by scraping and stacking the material as directed. (b) By mechanical means (without milling machine) : (ii) From 50 mm to 100 mm thick.
15Dismantling of existing structures like culverts, bridges, retaining walls and other structure comprising of masonry, cement concrete, steel work, including T&P and scaffolding wherever necessary, sorting the dismantled material, disposal of unserviceable material and stacking the serviceable material with all lifts and lead of 1000 m as per Technical Specifications Clause 202 for Rural Roads of MORD. (II) By Mechanical Means. a) Cement Concrete.
16Dismantling of existing structures like culverts, bridges, retaining walls and other structures comprising of brick masonry, including disposal of unserviceable material and stacking the serviceable material with all lift and lead of 1000 m as per Technical Specifications Clause 202 for Rural Roads of MORD. (b) Cement mortar.
17Dismantling kerb stones by manual means and disposal of dismantled material with all lifts and upto a lead of 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 202 for Rural Roads of MORD.
18Applying Exterior grade Acrylic primer of approved quality and brand on plastered or cencrete surface old or new surface to receive decorative textured (matt finish) or smooth finish acrylic exterior emulsion paint including scraping and preparing the surface throughly, complete as per manufacturer"s specification and as per direction of the EIC. In Ground Floor. (a) One Coat.
19Protective and Decorative Acrylic exterior emulsion paint of approved quality, as per manufacturer"s specification and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge to be applied over acrylic primer as required. The rate includes cost of material, labour, scaffolding and all incidental charges but excluding the cost of primer. In Ground floor (Two Coat). b) Premium 100% Acrylic Emulsion
20Providing and fixing of retro- reflectorised cautionary, mandatory and informatory sign as per IRC :67 made of high intensity grade sheeting vide clause 801.3, fixed over aluminium sheeting, 1.5 mm thick supported on a mild steel angle iron post 75 mm x 75 mm x 6 mm firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M15 grade cement concrete 45 cm x 45 cm x 60 cm, 60 cm below ground level as per approved drawing and Clause 801 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). i) 90 cm equilateral triangle.
21iii) 60 cm circular.

23identification retro-reflectorised sign as per IRC:67 made of high intensity grade sheeting vide clause 801.3, fixed over aluminium sheeting, 2 mm thick with area not exceeding 0.9 sqm supported on a mild steel single angle iron post 75 x 75 x 6 mm firmly fixedto the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M15 grade cement concrete 45 x 45 x 60 cm, 60 cm below ground level as per approved drawing and Clause 801 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision).
24Providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5 mm thick including reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35. The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes complete as per Clause 803 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision).
25Bamboo Pile Walling made of 6.5cm to 7.5cm diabamboo (in single line) driven about half-length into ground at very close spacing of 30cm c/c side by side, with stout stays at an interval of 90cm fixed with bamboo post of length 1.25m driven 1m below G.L., 3 nos. of half split bamboo runner of same dia fitted and fixed with nails etc. and lining exposed portion with sheets made from cut drums (empty bitumen drums) fitted and fixed with a lap width of 100 mm at each joint, complete as per direction including the cost of drum sheets and including the cost of nails, wires etc. (iii) With bamboos of length above 2.50m and upto 3.00m
26Supplying empty Cement bags in good condition.
27Filling empty Cement bags with dry earth or sand, stitching the bag (cost of thread included) and carrying and placing them in position and all incidental charges complete but excluding cost of sand and gunny bags.
28Supplying of Fine Sand at Site.
29Bailing out water by pump including all leads and lifts and including making all arrangements for disposal, where continuous flow or seepage of water is encountered and rating of pumps and hours of operation is specifically ascertained as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.
30Earth work in excavation of foundation trenches or drains, in all sorts of soil (including mixed soil but excluding laterite or sandstone) including removing, spreading or stacking the spoils within a lead of 75 m. as directed. The item includes necessary trimming the sides of trenches, levelling, dressing and ramming the bottom, bailing out water as required complete. a) Depth of excavation not exceeding 1,500 mm.
31Earth work in filling in foundation trenches or plinth with good earth, in layers not exceeding 150 mm. including watering and ramming etc. layer by layer complete. (Payment to be made on the basis of measurement of finished quantity of work). (a) With earth obtained from excavation of foundation
32Single Brick Flat Soling of picked jhama bricks including ramming and dressing bed to proper level and filling joints with local sand.
33Supplying and laying Polythene Sheet (150gm / sq.m.) over damp proof course or below flooring or roof terracing or in foundation or in foundation trenches.
34Ordinary Cement concrete (mix 1:2:4) with graded stone chips (20 mm nominal size) excluding shuttering and reinforcement, if any, in Ground Floor as perelevant I S Code.a. Ground Floor
35Supplying ready mixed concrete of M 25 Grade with well graded stone chips of 20 mm nominal size containing designed quantity of cement per Cu.m of wet concrete roduced in computerised batching plant under controlled condition using approved super plastisizer, designing concrete mix following I.S. 10262 and I.S. 456, transporting the mix with agitation in transit mixer to work site depositing the mix on a platform erected for the purpose at required levels of concreting and then placing the mix in its final location of form work compacting and curing the same complete as per specification & direction of the Engineer-in-charge including computerised batching plant transit mixer with all accessories vibrators etc. inclusive of all other incidental charges in this connection complete but excluding cost of hire charge of platform and its supporting staging which would be paid through separate item. 36Hire and labour charges for shuttering with centering and necessary staging upto 4 m using approved stout props and thick hard wood planks of approved thickness with required bracing for concrete slabs, beams and columns, lintels curved or straight including fitting, fixing and striking out after completion of works (upto roof of ground floor). (c) Steel shuttering or 9 to 12 mm thick approved quality ply board shuttering in any concrete work
37(f) 25 mm to 30 mm shuttering without staging in foundation.
38Reinforcement for reinforced concrete work in all sorts of structures including distribution bars, stirrups, binders etc initial straightening and removal of loose rust (if necessary), cutting to requisite length, hooking and bending to correct shape, placing in proper position and binding with 16 gauge black annealed wire at every intersection, complete as per drawing and direction.
