Steel surface shall have hot dip metallic coating of Al-Zinc alloy comprising 55% Alluminium, 43.5% Zinc and 1.5% Silicon as per the ASTM-A792M, with total mass of coating on both sides shall be 150 gms/sqm. The steel shall have organic coating with Silicon Modified Polyester (SMP) paint on continuous coil coating line. The thickness of coating on top side shall be 20-25 Microns (i.e. 15-18 microns SMP paint over 5-7 microns epoxy primer) and back side 8-10 Microns SMP paint over epoxy primer. Total Coated Thickness (TCT) shall be 0.58 MM. Sheet shall have protective guard film of thickness of 25 microns minimum to avoid scratches while transportation and should be supplied in single length up to 6m or as desired by Engineer-in-charge.
