Consists of Uniformly heated flat plate (Aluminum) & maintained at constant temperature Provision for mounting the plate in any position Heater Capacity above 250 W or more Size : min 150*150 mm or more Centrifugal blower/fan with duct and flow control by speed control of blower to operate at both laminar and turbulent range Outlet line Duct of minimum size 1000mm length, 300 mm wide Velocity Measurement Digital Anemometer for air Velocity measurement Temperature Measurement Thermocouples: Teflon coated Cr-Al (K-type) Digital temperature indicator 0-4000C with channel/thermocouple selector with thermocouples on heated surface. Provision for measuring temperature of flat plate at different positions and the temperature of air Digital Voltmeter of range 0-300V AC Digital Ammeter 0-20A AC measurement Dimmerstat for giving different heat input to plate Regulator for adjusting blower/fan speed The whole instrumentation is mounted on control board/table as a unit Manual : Self explanatory instruction manual with sample calculation
