B) The Rates Are Applicable For Flange Gaps Upto 20Mm Irrespective Of Operating Temperatures.For Gaps Above 20 Mm And Upto 30Mm 50% Of The Applicable Rate In Sor Shall Be Paid Additionally, Gaps Above 30 Mm And Upto 40Mm 100% Of The Applicable Rate In Sor Shall Be Paid Additionally And For Gaps Above 40 Mm And Upto 50Mm 150% Of The Applicable Rate In Sor Shall Be Paid Additionally. D) For Clamp Length Above 9 Inches, The Applicable Rate In Sor Shall Be Paid In Pro-Rata Basis. Prior Approval Of Eic In Writting Is Required For The Execution Of This Sor Item. B) Unit Of Measurement Kg Means Per Kg Charges For Design, Fabrication And Supply Of Special Clamps. Quantity Of Measurement Shall Be Total Weight Of The Supplied Special Clamps. Payment Will Be Made On Actual Weight Of The Clamp Supplied. The Contractor Shall Measure The Weight Of The Clamp, In The Presence Of The Engineer-In-Charge Or His Authorised Representatives Prior To Using It At The Site. , Fabrication And Supply Of Clamps (Material- Mild Steel) , Injection Of Sealant In Special Clamps To Cover Valves, Flanges, Brach Pipes, Etc For Arresting Leaks. , A) The Scope Includes Supplying And Injecting Suitable Leak Sealing Compound In Special Clamps Supplied And Fitted To Cover Valves, Flanges, Etc Completely, To Arrest Leaks. Payment Will Be Made For The Actual Quantity On Weight Basis (Per Kg) Of Sealant Consumed Duly Certified By The Eic.
