Bends shall be manufactured in such a way that not more than 111/4 degree deflection is caused by a single cut and internal dia is not reduced including hydraulic testing to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge. The damaged portion of galvanization due welding shall be provided with anticorrosive treatment by providing two coats of bituminous paint over priming coat as per AWWA specification C-203-1978.
