1Design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Grid connected Rooftop solar photo voltaic system of following :- (a)15 KWp (AC) - 01 Nos on HQ Adam Block Building (b)30 KWp (AC) - 01 Nos on Logistic Main Building (c)5 KWp (AC)- 01 Nos on Sports Building (d)50 KWp (A)- 01 Nos on EWTI (e)55 KWp (AC) - 01 Nos on EW Complex The cost includes cost of Solar PV panels (with domestic cell and modules), inverter (single / 3 phase wherever applicable), including all items such as cable, switches/ circuit breaker/ connectors/ junction box, mounting structure, earthing, lightening arrester, and civil works, installation & commissioning, Bi-directional meter complete all as specified and directed.
2Note No 1 : Solar PV Modules :-(i) The mechanical structure incorporating Solar PV modules (arrays) should withstand the gusts of wind /cyclonic wind upto 150 km/hr from backside of panel.(ii) PV Modules used in solar power plant must have a warranted output wattage ,which should not be less than 90 % at the end of 10 years and 80 % at the end of 25 years. PV modules will be guaranteed against any manufacturing defect. Defect Liability shall include but not to limited to glass, de-lamination, water ingress, junction box arching, hot spots, etc,. The product guarantee will not be limited for modules but will also include termination connector, cables and all associated accessories. In the event of failure during guarantee period, manufactures shall replace module free of cost or refund than current market price of module. In addition to the product guarantee, manufacture shall grant linear normal power guanratees for a minimum period of 25 years.PV Modules for the proposed plant shall be 72 cells Polycrystalline. The rated capacity of each Poly crystalline module not less than 315Wp. Code & Standard PV Modules shall comply to the following quality standards. IEC 61215/IS14286 :- Design qualification and type approval for Poly Crystalline. IEC 51730 (Part 1&2) :- PV Modules safety qualification IEC 60904 :- Photovoltaic Devices. EN 50380 :- Datasheet & name plate information for Photovoltaic Modules. Note No 2 : Inverters :- The inverters shall be complied to meet the recent standard developed be IEC & EN. Code & Standard IEC 61727 :- Characteristics of Utility Interface. IEC 62116 :- Testing procedure of landing prevention method of Utility interactive surfaces. IEC 62109-1, IEC 02109-2 : Safety of power convertors for use in Photovoltaic system safety compliance. Note No 3 : The contractor shall submitt design vetted from National Institute of Solar Energy Gurugram or by Govt Institute authorised by MNRE or NISE or any reputed Institute / Agency authorised. The cost of design and all other works shall be deemed include in the quoted rate of the item.
3Note No 4 : Module Mouting Structure : (i) The moulde support structure should be made of Mild steel /Hot dipped Galvanized (at least 120 microns) Iron.The size of the angle should not be less than 50x50x5 mm and should withstand maximum wind speed of 150 km/hr with efficiently absorbing and transferring the mechanical load to the gound .High quality Stainless steel nuts and bolts should be incorporated in the structure.THe Structure should be designed to facilitate easy replacement .of any modules. The Solar PV mounting structure & allied ancillaries shall comply with the requirement of the latest addition of IS standard. IS 2629 : Recommended Practice for Hot-Dip Galvanizing of Iron & Steel. IS 2069 : Specification of Steel for general structure purpose. General Requirement : (a)All module mounting structure sections shall be of steel. Yield strength for all section shall be 240 Mpa. (b)Steel shall be 550 GSM pre-Galvanized cold formed or Hot rolled, hot dip galvanized with coating thickness of min 85 microns. (c)All Nuts, bolts, washers used for entire module mounting structure shall be of SS304. (d)All remaining Nuts, bolts, washers used for entire module mounting structure shall be of MS-electro Galvanized. (e)The mounting structure steel shall comply with the provision of IS:2062 latest version. (f) The galvanization of the mounting structure shalll comply with the provision of IS:4759 latest version. (g)Concrete foundation / Ballast system concrete of M30 grade for srtucture on the RWST and M20 grade for ground mounted on roof mounted structure shall be used. (h)No-Penetation foundation: With RCC Pedestal stuck on roof slab with Nito bono / use concrete Ballast to add load on the MMS structure. (j) Load will be distributed on beams / Coloumn / Slabs based on the load bearing capabilities of the roof.. Junction Boxes :- (i) Junction Boxes used must be dust proof,vermin proof ,and water proof and made up of FRP or thermoplastic , with copper bus bar for terminal linking ,having sufficient entry for incoming and outgoing cables with provision of glands at both the entry.Specific Identification and should contain suitable rated blocking diode.Power Conditioning Unit (PCU):-Conversion of DC Voltage to AC Voltage for matching with F Grid voltage should be achieved by using an electronic String Inverterand associated control and protection devices.In addition PCU should MPPT(Maximum power point tracker)as an interface between Solar PV Array and the inverter.
4DC &AC Switches:- (i) MCB of suitable rating should be provided for connection and disconnection or array and PCU for easy maintenance. (ii)Switches & circuit breakers on the DC side must be DC rated or sufficiently de-rated if AC switches are to be used.Cables & Accessories:- Only armoured copper cable with ultra violet protection of 1.1KV grade conforming to relevant existing codes be incorporated .The Selection of cable should be such that the drop in voltage be minimum and permissible wire drop on DC side should <=1%. (g) Earthing and Lightening protection:- (i)All array structure of the PV yard should be grounded with proper earthing and all the metal shielding /casing of the plant must be grounded to ensure safety. (ii) The SPV power plant must have lightening and over voltage protection ,for ensuring correct voltage to PV and other sub components .The lightening protection can be achieved by Vertical air termination network and voltage over protection by Surge protection devices. The job of commissioning of Net meter with the existing State electricty board Grid Network ,including all charges and rates of equipments associated with it would be responsibility of Contractor .Completion should only be given after commissioning of Net meter to the state electricityboard grid system.
5Cost of liasoning with BSES (including application fee, registration form & HT net meter complete all as specified and directed.
6Dismantling of old brick tiles or terracing tiles,single layer on roofs all as specified and directed.
7Demolition of existing mud in roofs of any thickness including plastering and leaping, whether full thickness removed or only a part there of, and removing of mud all as specified and directed.
8Roughening the surfaces of old concrete roof surfaces by picking, sweeping clean and washing down with water to remove dust etc all as specified and directed.
9Cutting out cracks to V-section in existing roofs or terracing cleaning out and filling solidly with a hot mixture of bitumen and clean dry sand 1:1 (by weight) all as specified and directed.
10M&L for PCC 1:2:4, type B1 by using 20mm graded stone aggregate in padding/mass concrete and haunching complete all as specified and directed .
11M & L 10mm thick rendering in CM 1:4 using water proofing compound at the rate of 3% weight of cement over concrete surfaces all as specified and directed..
12Supply only water proofing compound all as specified and directed.
13M&L APP based polymeric membrane minimum weighing 3Kg/sqm and minimum 3 mm thick reinforced with polyster non wove fabric (wt not less than 150 gms /Sqm ) land onProviding & laying a coat of cold applied bitumen 85/25 based primer on entire surface @1.20 Kg /Sqm on dry and clean surfaces all as specified & directed.
14Taking down 100 mm dia CI/AC/PVC pipe in any dia complete all as specified and directed .
15S & F ofPVC ( SWR) pipes single socketed in any length with rubber ring joints fixed to wall ( 110mm bore) including flat iron claim for proper fixing complete all as specified and directed.
16S & F ofPVC ( SWR) bends110mm dia complete all as specified and directed.
17Taking up or down PPR/GI tubing 15 mm bore pipe all as specified and directed.
18Taking up or down PPR/GI tubing 20 mm bore pipeall as specified and directed.
