    Appointment of Cost Auditor as per sub-section 1) of section 233 B of the Companies Act 1956. Cost Accountant or the Firm of Cost Accountants shall conduct audit of the Cost Accounting Records of the PSPCL & to identify the area where efficiency could be improved and costs reduced specially in case of thermal generating stations and submit necessary reports within 180 days from the close of the financial year along with observations, suggestions, and Annexure to the Central Government as per notification issued on 7th Dec., 2011 or any other instructions issued by Central Government from time to time or any other section of the Companies Act 1956 applicable in this regard.
