(d)Floor and side walls upto the finished floor level shall be plastered with 15mm thick CM (1:4) mixed with water proofing compound @ 3% by weight ofcement. Over plastered surfaces, a layer of APP based polymeric membrane not less than 3mm thick, weighing not less than 3 kg per sqm, reinforced withpolyster non- wovenfabric (weighing not less than 150 gm per square metre) shall be laid by torchapplication. Side overlaps shall be 100mm and the ends laps shallbe 150mm andoverlap joints shall also be sealed by torch application. (e) The sunken portion shall be filled with lean cement concrete (1:5:10), type E2 using 40 mm brick aggregate after carrying out satisfactory testing of CI pipes /joints and slabs / walls by filling water for 72 hours. The sunken portion ofNahani / floor trap and pipe joints shall be embedded in PCC (1:3:6) blocks. (f) 32 mm dia GI spout shall be provided to drain out leakage, if any. |
