| 8 | (vi) In case of minor defect, entire job shall be completed within 06 hrs from the time of registration of complaint, failing which penalty charges @ Rs. 300/- per hours shall be recovered. |
| 9 | (vii) The transportation/ T&P required for the work shall be arranged by the contractor and no extra cost will be paid for the same. |
| 10 | (viii) In case of major defect, the period for attending of complaint shall be decided by the GE/EIC by accessing extent of repair required through joint inspection by Engineer-in-Charge and authorised service agent of the equipment at the site. If complaint is not rectified within the stipulated period and the GE is not satisfied with the reason for delay then penalty at the rate of Rs. 500/- per hours shall be deducted from the dues of the contractor. |
| 11 | (ix)Note that penalty is exclusively other then the condition 56 of IAFW-2249 and shall be treated as interim condition of the contract and shall be enforce above as and when delay in individual job is noticed and no claim whatsoever on this account shall be entertained by the Deptt. The decision of the Accepting Officer in this regard shall be final and binding. |
