| 1 | Excavation in earth work by mechanical in all heights and depths in all kinds of soils, including saturated soils comprising of mixed soil, oridinary rock and hard rock and all work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side,water pollution,etc. and to protect stability of hill side, the track shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock(where blasting is prohibted) all earth work in cutting/excavation, including rock excavation shall be carried out true lines, grades dides, slopes,width,camber,super elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by Engineer in Charge, in conformity with the requirement of technical specification for rural road, clause 1603.1 and 1603.2 of general conditions for contract to achieve designed formation width including hauling and stacking of materilas useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal and dumping to be arranged by the contractor of unsuitable materials in specified manner, trimming filling of uneveness, blindage and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by the Engineer in Charge for smooth riding. the recovery for stones , whether useful or not, for 650.96 cum (Sixteen thausand Seven hundred seven and point ten cubic metre) shall be made in all cases, otherwise recovery at the rate ofRupies 300/- only (Rupies three hundredonly) per cubic metre shall be effected on pro-rata basis. any loss to the publicand private property during the course of excavation shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractors, which shall compensated by him inall cases. |
| 2 | Earth work in excavation for all type of road structures such as retaining walls, breast walls, culverts, drains and parapets etcetrain all type of classifications of soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rocks, hard rocks, chiselling/ wedging out of rock ( where blasting is prohibated ) as per drawing and MORD technical specification clause 305.1,1104 and 1606.1 and as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge Including setting out,construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious material and diposal upto all laeds and lifts including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable approved materials to the original surface in layers not exceeding 150 mm (One hundred fifty milimetres) compacted thickness including shorting and strutting and pumping and bailing out water (surface and sub soil water) upto all depth and any quantum of water including cleaning of slush which may arise out during dewatering as per the direction of Engineer-In-Charge and including carriage of materials within all lead and lifts. |
