The outer surface of cooler shall be spray painted with synthetic enamel paint of approved shade/tint. (iii) The desert cooler shall be fitted with adjustable grill with seprate on/off switch of 5/6 Amp rating (ISI marked)for cooler fan and water pumpand three stage speed regulator for three speed cooler fan motor. (iv) Suitable nylon bushes shall be provided in the grill for easy and smooth movement of louvers. (v) The filter pad shall contain wool. The filter pads shall be fixed over the panel and secured by clamping guard of galvanized wire of 1 mm dia (approx) and net size 100 mm (approx) , square/rectangular. The wire guard shall be fixed in the clamps to avoid any sagging. (vi) The inside wiring connection shall be through suitable non-ferrous thimbles and the live contacts of rotary switch shall be protected by suitable enclosures of insulating material. The electrical cords of the motor and the pump shall be sheathed type. (vii) The cooler shall be provided with front/back filling arrangement and with 3 core copper stranded conductor size 23/0.0076 cable connecting cord (ISI marked) of 1.50 mtr length fitted with 3 pin moulded plug top of 5/6 amp rating.
