Note-1: General Scope of Work 1.To assist Resident Geologist in litho logging of about 200m core generated during the period. 2. To assist surveyor in survey work related to ground fixing of boreholes and survey stations(4 Nos.) on ground. 3. To assist Resident Geologist in preparation of samples (200 samples, average 100 samples per month). 4. Shifting/transportation/loading/ unloading of skeletonised core boxes from drill sites to Resident Geologist camp and thereafter core shed: 120 boxes (average 60 boxes per month)5. To assist Resident Physicist in gamma-ray logging of about 200m

Note-2: General Notes 1. The contractor shall comply with the provision of the Payment of Wages act 1936, Minimum Wages Act 1948, Empolyment Liability Act 1936, Workmens Compensation Act 1923, Industrial Disputes Act 1947, Maternity Benefit Acts 1961 and the contract Labour (R&A) Act 1970 and amendments therefof and other laws relating thereto and the rules made thereunder from time to time.2. Rates quoted shall be inclusive of all taxes including GST.3. Rates quoted shall be excluding the amount of EPFO and ESIC contributions. Actual expenditure made by the contractor towards EPFO and ESIC contributions shall be reimbursed by the depaartment separately on production of valid proof of payment made by the contractor in respect of these items. 4. Contractors should read the scope of work properly which are given at Preamble before quoting their rates.5. For their own interest, contractors are advised to inspect the site with prior permission before quoting their rates. 6. Minimum unskilled workers to be engaged are men: 2 Nos. If the deployed number of labours is less than requirement on any day, deduction of wages as per latest wages mentioned by the Ministry of Labour, Government of India for the reduced labours shall be made from the bill of the contractor. 7. Water and electricity shall be supplied by Department at free of cost. 8. If performance of the contractor is found unsatisfactory, the department reserves the right to terminate his contract at any time during the contract period.9. The agreement shall be for a periodw.e.f 01.05.2023 to 30.06.2023 (or from the date of award of work order to 30.06.2023) or till completion of work which ever is earlier.
