8Conducting soil resistivity survey at intervals of 125 metres along the pipeline route, as per the detailed scope of work specified in special conditions of contract and specifications of the tender document and direction of Site Engineer/ Engineer in charge.(OPTIONAL)
9Conducting soil resistivity survey at station locations as per specifications & instructions of Site Engineer/ Engineer in charge co mplete in all respect.(1 set of reading per grid size of 75 feet x 75 feet)
10Conducting soil chemical analysis survey for determination of PH value, chemical analysis for Cations i.e. Calcium, Magnesium, Sodiu m, Potassium and Anions i.e Chloride, Sulphate, Sulphide, Carbonate, Bicarbonate, Nitrate, Phosphate,etc. as per specifications and direction of Site Engineer/ Engineer-in-Charge & providing data in tabular form complete in all respect as per the following:-

13"Soil Stratification Survey Conducting Soil Stratification Survey for determining stratification of soil/rockas detailed in tender specifications and as per d irection of Site Engineer/ Engineer-in-Charge including providing the data in tabular form complete in all respect as per the follow ing: "
14Along the pipeline route excluding river crossing by boring 100 mm dia. using auger type equipmentsup to a depth of 2.5 m from gro und level or till rock is encountered, whichever is less at an interval of 250 m and providing the result in tabular form as per spe cification.
15Across the dry river by boring 100mm dia using auger type equipments up to a depth of 5 m from the river bed or till rock is encount ered, whichever is less at an interval of 50 m over the width of river as per the specification and providing the result in tabular form.
16"At both the banks of flowing river by auguring up to a depth of 5 m from the ground level or till rock is encountered, whichever isless in the bank of river as per the specification and providing the result in tabular form. Note : Readings of two bore holes at both banks of the river shall be considered as One unit of reading."
17"Data Generation Survey Collection/ generation of data regarding Electrical HT crossing, location of existing CP unit & their Anode bed locations, railway ( both locomotive & Traction) etc. as per the specifications and submitting data in tabular form complete in all respect as per specif ications and direction of Site Engineer/Engineer-in-Charge."
18"Technical Report Submission of final technical report in six sets complete in all respect, including complete descriptions of tests supported by tabl es, graphs, analysis and any other measure as deemed fit to describe the data complete in all respect as per specifications and dire ction of Site Engineer/Engineer-in-Charge."
19"Hydrological Data Generation Hydrological data such as High Flood Level (HFL), maximum floods discharge (Q), Av. velocity of flow, extent of flood plain etc. bas ed on previous floods, of the rivers en-route, assessment of scour depth and flow pattern of rivers in the past 10 years. Relevant d etails shall be collected from the concerned Irrigation Dept. office or other relevant sources. Other data based on hydrological sur vey of river crossings, as per details mentioned earlier, for design and installation of such crossings."
20"Cadastral Survey Carrying out Cadastral Surveyof the pipeline route and other activities up to preparation & submission of schedule u/s 3(1) for es tablishing Right of User(ROU) in Right of Way(ROW) under P&MP Act, 1962 for laying cross country pipeline including development of t he computer software as per detailed scope of work enumerated in terms & conditions of the tender document and direction of Site Eng ineer / Engineer-in-Charge inclusive of all labour, material, equipment etc., complete in all respects."

22"Providing Services for Establishing ROU Providing services for establishing Right of users (ROU) in Right of way (ROW) as per P&MP Act, 1962, for laying cross country pipel ine as per detailed scope of work enumerated in terms & conditions of the tender document and direction of Site Engineer / Engineer- in-Charge inclusive of all labour, material, equipment etc., complete in all respects."

24"Obtaining Approvals / Permissions Obtaining approvals / permissions from appropriate respective State / National and other Statutory Authorities for the various pipel ine crossings enroute such as National Highways, State Highways, other roads, rail, river, canal / drain crossings or any other util ity crossings, Forest permission, etc. as per detailed scope of work specified in special conditions of contract and specifications of the tender document and direction of Site Engineer / Engineer-in-Charge, complete in all respect. Note: 1. Payment shall be made for obtaining each permission. Cluster of crossings needing permission from the same Authority, shall be co nsidered as one permission for the purpose of payment. 2. For Railway crossing, each crossing shall be treated as separate and payment shall be made on unit basis. "

35"Establishment of camp office Total monthly payment on account of setting up of camp office in each spread. The unit ""Month"" shall be treated as per month per c amp office for payment. Note:- (1) The camp office(s) in different spreads shall be setup after issuance of specific notice for Part-D works by EIC. (2) One camp office shall be set up in each spread.Each camp office shall have minimum three (3 no.) manpower for carrying out day-t o-day activities. (3) The total monthly payment for keeping the camp operational with minimum required manpower, as per point (2) above, shall be paidon a lump-sum basis. (4) Merely keeping a camp will not entitle the contractor to claim monthly establishment charges. Monthly charges for keeping the ca mp operational shall be made after certification from E.I.C that camp with requisite manpower has actually been deployed for achievi ng the required progress as per schedule. No payment towards monthly charges for camp office shall be made if contractor fails to pr ovide the required services to match with the desired progress as per EIC. The decision of Engineer-in- Charge for certifying the re lease/non- release of monthly establishment cost will be final and binding."

37Carrying out contour survey and developing the contour map with level at 10 M c/c and contours at 0.5 M interval including staking a nd marking of plot boundary and development of drawings as per specification and direction of Engineer-in-Charge complete in all res pects. Note: This also includes setting/fixing and construction of Permanent Reference Pillar (Bench Mark) with erection of insert p late, engraving coordinates and levels etc. all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. Note: The item also includes furnis hing of High Flood Level of the area.

49Cyclic Plate LOAD TEST Conducting cyclic plate load test in various locations at specified depth for evaluation of in-situ dynamic & damping properties of soil as per specifications,scope of work and direction of Engineer in-charge (for MLPU foundations in Pump Stations).
50Seismic Refraction Carrying out Seismic Refraction Survey in land/water (Multilayer Analysis) as per IS:15681-2006 for a specified depth of exploration and profile length for obtaining sub-surface information over large areas; interpretation of data collected during the survey by Generalized Reciprocal Method; presentation of survey data as a depth section, a contour map, and/or any other drawings that illustrates the general geologic & hydrologic condition & any anomalous conditions at site as per specifications,scope of work and direction of Engineer in-charge (for HDD locations of crossing length more than 750 meters). Note:- (1)-Multiple channel seismographs shall be used."Spread" length shall be decided accordingly. (2)-For more than one "spread" length, the time-distance information shall be collected by overlapping as many "spreads" as required. (3)-A minimum interval of 5.0m shall be kept between the geophones/hydrophones. (4)-The test shall be conducted along traverses in two orthogonal directions.
51GPR Carrying out underground utility mapping using Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) and other non-penetrating techniques up to 12 metre below the ground at railway crossing locations, including using of GPR equipment for recording the railroad bed crossing profile, Geological strata profiling, bedrock mapping, water table detection/mapping, burried pipe and cable mapping etc., for railway crossing locations, inclusive of all tools & tackles, manpower for carrying out the work as per the direction of Engineer in-charge (for HDD locations of railway crossing)
52Trial Pits Excavating trial pit (TP)of size 3m x 3m at various locations forconduction CBR test, upto 3m depth below ground level in all types of soil and weathered rock including sheeting or shoring the sides for the purpose of stability, dewatering and maintaining the pit dry at all times,collecting disturbed/undisturbed samples at 1m interval and at final depth and transporting all the collected samples to the laboratory;backfilling of the pit with excavated material etc all complete as per specification and as directed by the engineer-incharge.
