This refurbishment work proposes to carry out necessary rectification work to run the furnace with 5 MT job load at 940OC (cycle as mentioned above) with minimum heat loss and with maximum power efficiency. Furnace must be able maintain temperature uniformity of 10-15°C throughout inside portion of the furnace.
