5M&L Mild steel screw bolts (machine made) with hexagonal or square heads at one end and screwed the other to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nuts, n exc 5cm long diameter of neck 5 to 10mm including taking down existing one complete all as specified and as directed.
6M&L PCC 1:4:8, type D-2,using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation filling and mass concrete etc complete all as specified and as directed.
7M&L Plain Cement concrete 1:3:6,type C-1, (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundation of fencing post, filling and mass concrete etc complete all as specified and as directed.
8M&L Straining and fixing only chain link fencing includingline wires, any mesh, size and type to any type of standards, rails, straining bolts etc including provision 10mm dia MS bars as line wire welded to fencing posts and MS flat iron for fixing fencing wire mesh complete all as specified and as directed.Note : Supply only 10mm dia round bars and chainlink mesh will be measured and paid separately measured and paid. However, labour aspect for fixing is deemed to be included in this item
9Supply only Chain link mesh, made of galvanised wire and shallconfirm to IS 2712.2003 and having zinc coating of type heavy as laid down in IS 4826 complete all as specified and as directed.
10Supply only 10mm dia round bars, cut to length ,hooking ends as in wooven/ straining bar (stiches through chain link fencing between post) complete all as specified and as directed.
11M&L Galvanised, 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24mm dia barbed with 2mm dia barbs at 75mm spacing and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails straining bolts, including securing or tying at crossing with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire, staples or steel pins, etc complete all as specified and as directed (Note:- each line of wire to be measured).
12M&L PCC 1:3:6, type C-1(using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in precast cement concrete solid building blocks or slabs 10cm thick (with plain or interlocking joint as directed) setting in cement mortar (1:4), in walls including demolition of existing damaged walls complete all as specified and as directed.
13M&L Preparation of new steel surface of any description over 10cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and as directed.
14M&L Preparation of new steel surfaces under 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat ofof red oxide primer complete all as specified and as directed.
15Note for item No 13 & 14 :-(a) All synthetic enamel paint,shall be of 1st quality manufactured by the standard firms of make as specified.
16(b) The contractor shall inform the GE, within three weeks of the acceptance of the tender, the brand/names of the manufacturers of paint proposed to be used in the works and submit samples thereof and obtain prior written approval of GE before their use in works.
17(c) The contractor shall when so required by the GE, produce certificate from the manufacturer or their representative to establish that the brands of paints purchased by the contractor from them, satisfy the requirements of the relevant Indian Standards. Tint of paint will be approved by the GE.
18(d)Paints shall be obtained directly from approved manufacturer or from their authorized agents only of respective brands mentioned below and brought to site in sealed containers. The paint so procured shall be of first quality of any approved make as per list of makes specified. i. Berger Paints (Luxol), ii. Jenson & Nicholson (Brolac), iii. Shalimar Paints(Superlac), iv. Goodlass Nerolac (Nerolac), v. Asian Paints(Apcolite)
19(e)Unless otherwise specified the tints of paint shall be as approved by the GE
20(f) The contractor shall submit samples of the paints proposed for the work along with results of tests conducted in approved laboratory as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge for approval.
21(g) The surface shall be thoroughly cleaned and dusted. All dirt scales oil and grease shall be thoroughly removed before painting is started. The prepared surface shall be inspected and approved by the GE before painting is commenced. The weather shall not be foggy/rainy, dusty or windy. The suitability of the weather will be determined by the Engineer-in-Charge.
22(h) No hair marks from the brushor clogging of paint buddles shall be left on the work. Surface shall ordinarily not be painted until it has dried up completely. Trial patches of paint shall be laid at intervals to check if drying is satisfactory.
23Demolition of brick work masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, pillars etc., complete all as specified and as directed.
24M&L Brickwork with fly ash’ bricks using with old size bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius built in cm 1:4 , complete all as specified and as directed
25Description all as per item No 24 here in above but except bricks. Note:Serviceable bricks obtained from Sl item No 23 be reused.
26M&L Rendering 15 mm thick in two layers onbrick or concrete surfaces,first coat 10mm thick in cement mortar1:6 and 2nd coat 5mm thick in cement mortar1:6 mixed with water proofing compound as per manufacturer instructions finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.
27Supply only water proofing compound
28M&L applying two coats of cement based paint over a coat of alkali resistant primer on newly plastered surfaces of walls including preparation of new surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.
29Note for item here in above:-(i)Before applying cement based paint ,the surface shall be thouroughly wetted to control surface suction. The surface shall be moist but not dripping wet when the paint applied .Surfaces which readily absorb moisture shall be wetted in one operation not more than one hour before painting.Surfaces which absorb moisture slowly shall be wetted in at least two operations not less than 30 minutes apart.
30(ii)To maintain a uniform mixture and to prevent segregation ,the paint shall be stirred frequently in the bucket.
31(iii)Painting surfaces shall be cured as soon as paint has hardened so as not to be damaged by the spray about 12 hours after the applications.
32(iv)Cost of scaffolding required deemed to be included in the quoted rate of item and nothing extra shall be admissible on this account.
33(v) Work will be carried out through authorised applicator/ agency of approved manufacturer by GE and colourshall be asapproved by Engr in charge .
34M&L Rendering 15 mm thickin cement mortar 1:4 on fair face of brick work or concrete surfaces finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.
35M&L 100 mm thick Plain cement concrete1:4:8type D-2(using 40 mm gradedstone aggregate ) as in sub base , fillng and mass concrete or as in receiving tiles/ surface channels and drains etc including demolition complete all as specified and directed.
36M&L Chequered cement concrete tiles 30cmx30cmx25mm thick machine pressed set jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry as in floors and cut and polished using grey cement andpigments over screed bed or bedding layer of mortar 15mm thick for laying floor finishes in cement mortar (1:4) includingdemolishing the existing tile complete all as specified anddirectedNote : The manufacturer\"s test certificate andindividual test certificate for tilesmust be submitted for approval by the concerned authority prior to installation/fixing.
37M&L Checking of floor, plinth, plaster etc requiring masonry work and carrying out minor repairs such as edges, patches etc, including petty repairs material like sand, cement & aggregate to make it functional complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. The rates for plastering / plinth include for: (a) Preparing the surfaces.(b) Thickness of plaster/plinth key in joints, etc. (c) Anises, chamfers of any width, internal rounded angles upto 80mm in width or girth external rounded angles upto 80mm in width or girth.(d) All materials, labour and equipment & supply of integral waterproofing compound, (e) Scoring surface of plastering for key, where the surface is not required to be finished fair.(f) Plastering in patches (in repairs), exc 3 sq.m each patch, for preparing old walls to receive plastering\". Nothing extra shall be admissible for matching with existing work etc. (g) Any individual patch (other than nail hole, plug hole, etc.) are included for provided existing surface finish .
38Excavating in trenches, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth for foundation, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. and getting out in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and as directed.
39Removal of excavated material to a distance exceeding 1.50 Km andnot exceeding 5.00 Km and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.
40Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm complete all as specified and as directed
41M&L Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone walls, or concrete or ceilings etc., including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc., including removal of rubbish off the premises, removal and depositing serviceable materials where directed and leaving the work clear of any plastering and material and labour for Rendering 15 mm thick in two layers onbrick or stone or concrete surfaces,first coat 10mm thick in cement mortar1:4 and 2nd coat 5mm thick in cement mortar1:4 mixed with water proofing compound as per manufacturer instructionsfinished even and smooth without using extra cement completeall as specified and directed.
42Note for Item No 41 :- (a) Supply only water proofing compound shall be measured and paid seperately.
43M&L Preparation of new plastered surfaces wall/ ceiling and applying two coat of white washing on ceiling/ walls surfaces complete all as specified and directed.
44M&L Preparation of new plastered surfaces wallapplying two coat of OBD over a coat of alkali resistant priming paint complete all as specified and directed.
45M&L Machine pressed precast concrete interlocking paver block with grey cement and pigment any shape and size, polished confirming to IS-15658 of 80mm thickness M-40 grade, laid over and including M sand cushion of 50mm thick and packing the sides with PCC 1:3:6 type C1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregates)complete incl dismantling of existing tiles all as specified and directed. Note : The Unit rate quoted is included for Demolition of paver tiles of any description or thickness in floors,aprons etc laid bedded and pointed in any mortar and removing of debris outside of MD land
46M&L Hardcoreofgaugenotexceeding 63mmofbroken stonesorboulders,deposited,spreadandlevelledin layersnotexceeding 15cmthick,wateredand rammed to a true surface including removal of existing completeall as specified and directed.
47M&L Pre painted Coloured corrugated Galvalume roofing system sheet 0.50 mm thick having Zinc aluminum alloy coating AZ150 shall be as per IS:277/ASTM 1379 150 gsm/ sqm double ribbed trapezoidal profile steel sheetany colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in Roof covering /cladding to wall fixed with self tapping screws including dismantling of existing one all complete all asdirected.
48M&L Pre-painted galvalume aluminum zinc coating GI based Plain steel sheet 0.50mmthick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/ cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws including dismantling of existing one all as directed.
49Note for pre-painted coloured Galvalume roofing :-
50(i) The manufacturer\"s test certificate andindividual test certificate for the chemical and mechanical properties of sheet must be submitted for approval by the concerned authority prior to installation.
51(ii) The contractor shall ensure that no leakages take place from the roof. The roofing shall be Coloured Galvalume roofing system (olive green colour or as approved by GE) with feed material manufactured from 0.50 mm Totalcoated thickness (TCT), minimum 550 MPa yield strength and shall conform to the physical specifications of IS: 2062 of 2011, coated with hot dip metallic Aluminium / Zinc alloy coating AZ150 as 150 gm/sq.mt total on both sides complete all as specified and as directed.
52(iii) The painting shall be coloured baked enamel polyesterwith silicon coatingoffilm thickness 25 microns nominal on the exposed face/exterior side and on the reverse side ( interior face) shall be white with 15 microns film thickness, over a coat of 5 micron nominalthickness Primer.
53(iv) The contractor shall produce purchase vouchers for each lot and independent test for verification of Engineer-in-Charge.
54S&F Mild Steel work in tubular trusses including special shaped washer etc. complete using ERW or induction butt welded tubes conforming to IS 1161-1979 gradeSt.-240) including dismantling existing one complete all as specified and as directed.
55S&F Mild Steel Plates (plain or chequered) channels, square cut or notched (ordinary and counter sunk) forming holes, with riveted , bolted or welded attachment.(Fe 410 -W (Gde- E-250) quality -A complete including dismantling existing oneall as specified and as directed.
56S&F MS flat iron wind ties for roof including securing bolts including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc. , and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 complete all including dismantling existing one as specified and as directed.
57M&L in repairs Granite work(of any type) 18 to 20mm thick(table rubbed and polished including round edge) in steps, jambs, pillars, window cills, cooking platforms, wash basin platformand like in cement mortar (1:4) including pointing in white cement (1:2) using marble dust with admixture of pigment to match with granite shade over and including 15mm thick screed bed in CM 1:4 complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
58S&F Collapsible steel gates, top hung consisting of channel pickets, pivoted flat bars, top andbottom runners, brass handles etc., as specified, erected in position and securing runners with holdfasts and brackets, including taking down existing one complete all as specified and as directed.
59M&L 100mm thick, plain cement concrete (1:3:6), type C-2 (using 40 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregates),as in plinth protection/path/hardstanding including making joints @ 3.00 metre intervals and at each corner, the joint shall be filled with mastic filling (to full depth) comprising of one part heated hot blown bitumen 85/25 & two parts heated sand (by volume), surface finished even and smooth without using extra cement including demolition of existing damaged cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floors and pavings not exceeding 15 cm thickness and rubbish material shall be disposed to out side MD land complete all as specified and as directed.
60M&L Water proofing treatment of existing roofs as per details given below after complete removal of existing water proofing treatment and expose of top surface of RCC slab of any thickness, any type by stripping out old tar felt over roofs, parapets, chimney stacks etc laid horizontally or vertically including taking out layer of cement plaster etc and cleaning the surface with water and using wire brush including removing debris to outside the MOD land complete all as specified and as directed :-
61(a) Surface should be free from any loose paint, dust or grease.Remove all existing bitumen coatings completely by using intense wire brushing, high speed water jet & vacuum cleaner for thorough cleaning of the surface to avoid ‘Peeling off’ problems.
62(b) All cracks at corner joints, channels and parapets should be properly treated.For filling cracks upto 3mm crack seal material of M/s Asian paints or equivalent inM/s Dr Fixit or M/s Pidilite or M/s Sika chemical to be used. Bigger cracks, damagedportions & hollow areas must be repaired with polymer modified cement mortar.
63(c) Apply a coat of self priming smart care damp proof ultra (Code 5698) ofM/s Asian paints or equivalent in M/s Dr Fixit or M/s Pidilite or M/s Sika chemical with 33% dilution with water using brush/roller on newly plastered surface after curing as per IS-456 and allow to dry for 4 to 6 hours (dilution & forced coverage requirement strictly as per manufacturer’s instructions).
64(d) After the primed surface has dried, apply first coat of water proofing smart care damp proof ultra (Code 5698) of M/s Asian paints or equivalent in M/s Dr Fixit or M/s Pidilite or M/s Sika chemicalusing brush/roller on the same primed surface & allow to dry for 4 to 6 hours.
65(e) Prepare for apply 2nd coat of water proofing smart care damp proof ultra (Code 5698) of M/s Asian paints or equivalent in M/s Dr Fixit or M/s Pidilite or M/s Sika chemicalusing brush/roller on the same surface.The temp to be maintained 25 to 35° C through out the all above application work.
66(f) In case of severe dampness an additional coat of damp proof materials to be applied.
67Note for item No 60 to 66 :- (i) The work shall be carried out through authorized and qualified applicators of the following manufacturers only. MOU to be submitted before commencement of work. Make : M/s Asian paints or equivalent in M/s Dr Fixit or M/s Pidilite or M/s Sika chemical
68(ii) A performance guarantee certificate for 10 years shall be submitted by the contractor to the GE on completion of work as specified.
69(iii) The unit quoted rate is deemed to include taking down of water pipeline, tanks, wires (etc) found on roof and refix at the original position after complete treatment of roof.
70(iv)The unit quoted rate shall be inclusive of material, all labours, tools and plants including scaffolding required for working upto approx 7.5 mtr height from natural ground level.
71(v)The unit rate quoted for item is deemed to include for Removing of accumulated earth of any width and depth upto 15 cm cleaning/cutting the grass with hand operated petrol/kerosene driven grass cutting machine and removing the grass waste around 3 m from plinth protectionto outside MD land.
72(vi)Adoption of necessary safety arrangement like safety belts, ropes, helmets, netting etc. which are required for safety of working labour at height exceeding 3 to 25 mtr height shall be mandatary and deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted.
73M&Lproviding PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregates as in roofor in any position tobring upto the slopeof average thickness of 50 mm including Dismantling existing cement concrete/ roof tiles and removing debris to outside MOD land completeall as specified and directed.
74Dismantling existing cement concrete on roof and removal to a distance exc 1.5 KM but not not exc 5 KM and deposited as directed.
75M&L Plain cement concrete type B-1, 1:2:4 (20mm graded stone aggregate) as in roof kerbs, benching rounded or chamfered onedge all as specified complete all as directed.
76M & L Aluminium powder coated ofthree track sliding window outer frame top & sides (section no-20831) of size 92.0x31.75x1.5mm weighing 1.06 Kg/m, frame bottom (Section No 20832) of size 92.0x31.75x1.5mm weighing 1.248Kg/m , shutter to plain vertical (Section No 21093) of size 39x18x1.5mm weighing 0.634 Kg/m, shutter interlock vertical frame (section 21094) of size 39x18x1.55 weighing 0.734 Kg/m, shutter bottom horizontal frame (Section No 20551) size 40x20x1.5mm weighing 0.484 Kg/m, with powder coating of min thickness 50 micron , sliding type with out sash bars, 4mm thickness colour glass, rubber packing, snap beading screws with stainless steel wire mesh, including taken existing window with chowkats of any size, completet all as specified
77M&L Preparation of plastered or un plastered old surfaces of walls, Chajja, balcony, facia etc. by brooming down or steel wire brushing scrapping down, smoke shoots moulds, mass efforescent salt, treating oil and greasy spots etc and applying one coat of cement based paint complete all as specified and directed.

84M & L preparation of old decoratedplastered or unplastered surfaceof wall, chajja, balcony, facia etc., brooming down or steel wire brushing down smoke soot, moulds mass, efflorescent, trading, oil, greasy spots and applyingone coat of whitewashcomplete all as specified and directed.
85M & L preparation of old plastered or unplastered surfaceof ceiling brooming down or steel wire brushing down smoke soot, moulds mass, efflorescent , trading, oil, greasy spotsand applyingone coat of white wash complete all as specified and directed.
86M & L preparation of old plastered surfaces of wall by using pressure washer, removal all dirt and dust and applying one coat of exterior emulsion weather proof paintcomplete all as specified and as directed.
87M&L Preparation of old decoratedplastered or unplastered surfaceof wall, brooming down or steel wire brushing down smoke soot, moulds mass, efflorescent , treading, oil, greasy spots and applying one coat oil bound distemper complete all as specified and as directed.
88M&L Preparation of old painted wooden surface of any description not otherwise described over 10 cm width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint using mechanical means complete all as specified and directed.
89M&L Preparation of old painted steel surface of any description not otherwise described over 10 cm width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint using mechanical means complete all as specified and directed.
90Note for item No 88 & 89 :-(a) All synthetic enamel paint shall be of 1st quality manufactured by the standard firms of make as specified.

98Removing plant/Uprooting of vegetation growth including roots on wall/roof/parapet/Shaft portion , near pipes etc and applying acid treatment afterremoving roots for preventing regrowth and making good disturbed surfaces/area in superficial area exc 150sq.cm but n.exc 400 sq.cm and averaging depth not exceeding 10 cm by using PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 (using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate) or 10mm thick plastering in cement mortar 1:3 as required and finishing the surfaces to match with the existing surface complete all as specified and directed.
99Note for item No 98 :- (a) Rate quoted by the tenderer shall be deemed to inclusive of double steel scaffolding.
100(b)Contractor shall provided safety gears to his workers at his own cost and safety precaution to avoid accidents.
