5S&F in replacement self starter 24 Volts of DG Sets complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
6Supply and fix in replacement of radiatorfan belt suitable for any capacity DG set complete all as specified and directed.
7Disconnecting the existing battery of capacity 12V 90 to 150 AH from the DG set, taking it to battery workshop, draining out the complete unserviceable electrolyte acid from the battery, filling up with new Electrolyte acid to the required level, charging the battery, testing the battery for correct specific gravity, bringing back to the location, connecting to DG set, start the engine for satisfactory function all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
8S&F Battery charging alternator assembly 12 Volts of DG Sets complete including taking down existing one complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
9S&F in replacement battery cable assembly (-ve & +ve) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- Items like clamp, lugs, nut, bolts and copper cable of size 25 sqmm upto 1 mtr required for connection is deemed to be inclusive in unit rate quoted.
10M&L Opening disconnecting LT Cable connections with care from Auto-Main Failure Panel and checking throughly with Fault Detector Instrument at Site and replacement of Minor Defective Parts as required at Site suitable for 50 KVA to 160 KVA DG Set including replacement of Internal Wiring with Copper Conductor Cable, Beading, etc. complete all as specified and as directed.
11Supply and fix in replacement of oil drain hose set complete all as specified and as directed.
12S&F Power contactor MCX31, 4 pole with 1 NO + INC contactsincluding taking down unserviceable one, complete all as specified and as directed.
13Supply and fix in replacement of flush type LED Digital multi functional meter with all parameter suitable for DG set AMF panelcompleteof Model A class 1 all as specified and as directed.

15Taking down old unserviceable self motorof capacity 15 KVA to 45 KVAand carrying to authorised work shop for servicing includingreplacment of unserviceable spare parts Brush, holder, solonoid switch, armature bush, filed coil complete and refixing, Testing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

23M&L Removing old paint from surface of acoustic enclosure and outer canopy, alternater upto 100 KVA with sand paper and painting complete DG set & panel board including canopy with synthetic enamel paint (of colour as directed by Engineer-in-Charge) using spray gun with compressed air and writing Ser No/ MES No in block letters with white paint and size of letter n.exc 30 cm height complete all as specified and as directed.
24Supply and fix in replacement of selectorswitch 16 A 2 pole 2 way complete all as specified and directed

28Taking down carefully DG set of any capacity from foundation after disconnecting nuts, bolts, earthing lead, LT connection cable etc and shifting within a distance of 2 Km for reinstallation after repair including making connections of cables complete all as specified and directed.
29Note for Item No 28 :- Weight of DG set is between 1 to 2 ton, necessary T & P and lifting arrangement shall be contractor responsibility and the unit rate quoted shall be deemed to include the same..
30M&L for servicing/ cleaning of MS diesel tank of DG Set of 15-50 KVA capacity by draining out the diesel from tank, cleaning the tank with soap water/ suitable solution and painting the external surface with one coat of synthetic enamel paint of existing colour including replacement of drain valve, outlet pipe complete all as specified and as directed.
31Removing and replacing the old unserviceable one with new AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulator) suitable for Kirloskar curve of capacity 15 to 45KVA having input voltage 2 phase + neutral sensing voltage 415 output voltage 95V DC, output current 4A DC voltage regulation +/- 1 % average volts, over excitation current tripping, fuse protection 4A, fast acting and frequency 50 Hz complete all as specified and directedby Engr-in-Charge.

61Note for Item No 60 :- (i) Any damages happened in DG set during lifting/ shifting/ installation work, the same will be rectified by the contractor without any extra cost to the Govt.

129M&L Checking of any breaking in the link of earth strip wire of Galvanised/Copper/Aluminium Strip any size and jointing them by Exothermic Welding or Brazing including taking down old unserviceable one, complete all as specified and as directed.
130S&F Arrester clamp for lighting arrester of size 16mm made out brass including taking down old unserviceable one, complete all as specified and as directed.
131Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of maintenance free chemicalearthing system comprising 17mm dia copper bondedrod 3 mtr long horizontally pre welded T-terminal rod with provision for connection size of 50 x 150mm long, 6mm thickness with equal space either side, with 12mm dia hole of 02 numbers each on either side of the terminal clamp with 250 microns (average) coating thickness, tested and certified by CPRI India alongwith 50 Kg earth energizer compound and 10 litres earth resistance reducingliquid. The earthing energizer compound and resistance reducing earthing liquid shall be tested as per IEC-62561-7 read with ASTM G57-06, CI 3.4 A by any NABL accredited lab. The above mentioned rod shall be installed in 4-6 inch bore, 12 feet depth with a distance of minimum 3 meters between each installationall as specified and directed.
132The unit quoted rate shall deem to be included for the following :- (i)Prior toinstallation of maintenance free chemicalearthing, soil resistivity test to be carried out at the location where earthingwork to be donein presence of Engr-in- Charge/JE (E/M),user and the report has tosubmitto Garrison Engineer with recommendation of manufacturer, if required additional interconnection ofearthing (not more than 04 number of earthing) to achive earth result less than 1 Ohms. The arrangement done for soil resistivity testingandsubmission of report with recommendationdeemed to be included in the quoted rate.
133(ii) The description/ size/ qty of items mentioned in above are for indicating only however qty/ size may vary at site condition to maintain the earth resistance 1 ohm. The contractor shall quote rate by considering all factors.
134(iii) Rateofearth energizer compound of 25 Kg of 02 bags and earthresistance reducingliquid 10 litre per cane for each pit deemed to be included in the quoted rate.
135(iv)Resistivity of earth energizer compound and resistance reducing earthing liquid shall be certified by any NABL accredited lab carried out as per IEC-62561-7 read with ASTMG57-06, CI-3.4A and the certificate of same shall be submitted by the contractor before commencement of work.
136(v)Earthing shall be tested after completion of work by the contractor in presence of Engr-in-charge, user and proper record shall be maintened duly signed by all concerned.After testing if the desired earth resistance of less than 1 Ohm is not obtained, the earthing will be redone at no extra cost to Govt. till desired result is obtained.
137(vi)Earth resistance tester will be provided by the contractor.Tester should be calibrated from authorised company/ lab.
138(vii) The contractor shall give a written guarantee of minimum three years for maintaining the earth resistance less than 1 Ohm after certified date of completion.
139(viii) No further maintenance or periodic watering or recharge shall be required in earthing during its guarantee period of over 03 years in all type of soil including soft/ disintegrated or hard rock.
140(ix) During the guarantee period, if earth resistance is not maintained less than 1 ohm the contractor has to redo or rectify at no extra cost to Govt till desired result is mainained.
141(x) A security deposit of value equal to 2.5 % of the rate quoted for chemical earthing per each earthing shall be retained from payment due to the contractor for the guarantee period.
142(xi) Earth enhancing material should not leach into the adjacent soil or underground water channels and its PH valve should be in neutral range complete all as specified and as directed. It should solidify when mixed with water and set like concrete.
143(xii) The electrode shallcarry manufacturer"s name .
144(xiii) The connection clamp shall be permanentlly welded to the copper boundedrodto avoid any kind of connectivity loss,.The pre-welded copper bounded rod shall not need any additional clamp for termination.
145(xiv) Copper strip of size 20 x 3 mm shouldbe fixed on proper post insulator at the instrument end (copper strip will be measured and paid separately).
146(xv) The acceptable earth resistance at earth busbar/ test point shall not be more than 0.1 ohm.
147(xvi)The contractor shall submit CPRI India certified document for copper bonded rod to ensure genuity of material.
148(xvii) Sign boardof mild steel 2 mm thick duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxideZinc chrome primer showing result of earthing should be fixed near the earth pit after completion as directed by engr -in- charge.
149(xviii)Earth work such as auguring andmaking good the surrounding area shall carried out in any type of soil.
150S&F in repairs Copper strip 20 x 3mm thick as earthing lead fixed to wall/roofs etc all as directed.
151Note for Item No 150 :- All Joints should be joined by Exothermic Welding or Brazing.
152M&L Earth pit cover madeof heavy duty poly plastic of high grade polypropylene tested and certified by any NABL accredited lab for load bearing capacity not less than 9.2 tonnes with top dia not less than 250mm, bottom dia not less than 330 mm and height not less than 260 mm dia for each electrode pit complete all as specified and directed.
153Note for Item No 152 :- The contractor shall submit load bearing capacity certificate from the manufacturer.
