All earth work in cutting /excavation including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines ,grades ,sides slopes,width,camber,super-elevation and level as shown on the drawing andas directed by the Engineer-in-Charge in conformity with the requirement of technical specification for Rural Road, August 2004 and clause 16.2 of General conditions for contract to achive designed formation width including hauling and stacking of materials useful for constrcutionat suitable sites safe manner including arrangement of dumping site trimming ,filling of unevenness blind age and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge for smooth riding .The recovery for stones ,whether usefule or not, for 60.48 cubic metre at the rate Rs 300/-only (Rupees three hundred only ) per cubic metershall be effectedon prorata basis in all circumstances .Any loss to the public and private property during the course of excavation shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor ,which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases. |
